Start of week 3. Weather conditions got better, less clouds and more sun seem to be good for the plants. 06/13/2020 -day 15- duck #1 still seems to have some problem. She grows but has a lighter greenish-yellowish color compared with her sister. Also the leafs have strange curls. I got a hint to remove the bio tabs and only give water. Maybe that will do the trick 06/16/2020 -day 18- finally a visible progress in growth. Duck #1 got back to a more natural green (thanks to a hint from Fusion 👍). Because of heavy rain, I got enough water for the two ladies 06/19/2020 -day 21- end of week 3, the ladies grew very good and got nice new leafs. So far, it really looks very decent an not like cannabis at all. Although they seem to be small in comparison with other diaries. This weeks weather was often cloudy with a lack of sun. Temperatures were between 25 C at day and 18 C at night. All in all I am happy that they seem to be healthy and growing. Looking forward to the progress in week 4. Keep in Touch ! Cheers HighZenBerg

Day 125. Chop day. Report will follow, maybe smoke quality will be that only positive thing in all dirt that this strain brought me .... Dry triming chosen. Plants where such crap that never got names even, so Smaller and Taller plant is chopped. Other two went hermie.

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 4 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. I started germination of 5 Royal thai regular beans on 01/01/2021. HAPPY NEWYEAR! I am germinating them using rockwool cubes and a humidity dome. I pre moistened my plugs with ph balanced water to 6.4 . Than enlarged the pre made holes using a wooden dowel. Than sowed my 5 beans into the holes. I then ripped a small piece of rockwool off each plug and mulched it up. Than lightly filled in the holes using the mulched rockwool. Than it was into the humidity dome to marinate, and complete the germination process. Will likely take roughly 4 days to get some sprouts. Starting my adventure with Spliff Seeds Royal Thai. After they emerge I will get the plugs planted into 3 gallon pots to rock and roll. Cant fucking wait! Spliff Seeds Royal Thai is a cross of a Early Thai mother and a Skunk #1 father. This mashup produces a lanky, stretcher variety signature of classic sativa strains. The strain gas a roughly 12 week flowering time. There is 3 distinct phenotypes from these genetics. One with fluffier sativa signature bud structre. One with chunkier, bulky bud structre coming from the skunk #1 father. Lastly but definitely hope to get me one of these!!! Is the phenotype that Carrys over that signature thai chocolate terpene pallet. Though it takes the longest to mature... Best believe it's well worth the wait. Considering the natural plant stature and stretch. This will be a short veg, faster flip run. To keep these ladies tailored and suited for a indoor grow. All things considered... I'd probably get best results throwing these beans out during outdoor grow season. Letting them beast out and become trees. Mabey we just might try that with another batch. But with the research into the variety I've done I'm sure I can make em work some magic indoors. I'm amped for this.

I cut feeding towards the end of week 8 , the plants could have easily gone for another week but at this point the tops were loosing all colour so I decided to harvest at the end of week 8. The trichomes were cloudy and clear with a few Amber.

Day 43. Girls are stretching to the moon !!! Noticed that almost an hour after lights on and two hours before lights go off - plants droopy/sleepy asf. Reduced to 18 hours . Plan heavy feed next watering and will have to SuperCrop both Monster Alaskan Diesel's. All runs good, thinking to change positioning into 2332 instead of 5 rows by two. Some plants are insanely big , even for autos and some are so so, so I think I put more efforts into main two and will reduce light for 4 weakest ones. My Rh stays in high 70, thinking defoliation will be a must too ... Let's see how they will take heavy feed and training ... Day 45. After heavy feed - they went like this ;))) I don't know what happen , but 928 ppm at second week of flower was never so heavy in my all grows ... Those plants just hate feed ... Maybe my soil is finally good and full of life ... Very lost ... Hope they bounce back, if no - again 3-4 pure phed water watering and fingers crossed ... ;))) I left out silica in this feed even and it was still too much ! Day 46. All back to normal. Think low temps and big amount of water, drowned them a bit, will reduce quantity of water during next sessions. P.S. I don't have gnats anymore !!! Bought soil, it was infected, never change sticky traps during grow, they still work. P.S.2 I can't have pH issues, two blue lab pens works at same time. Aways follow strick number, always use dehlorination It was a strange one, otherwise I wouldn't ask for help. Overwatered plants drop leaves, but no so low and for so please long ! Pots are lighter, so all is good. I put now 50 liters into girls during session, collect all spillage and run off, have about a liter each time. Happy Growing !!!

It time for push and tuck. I did the feeding for transition ( 1:1:1 ratio). I watch them for about 3 hours, then turn the lights out for 24-36 hours. This depletes the hormone that says veg and switches to flowering. Espoma seed starter mix : 1 TBSP Jobe’s Citrus Fruits : 1 TBSP 3 TBSP earth worm castings 1/4 tsp recharge Aerated for 30 hours at 68 degrees ( nice and frothy 😂😂) 1 gallon of water 750-765 ppms at 1:1:1 ratio. This will last for the first 6-7 days, then we switch to 1:3:2 ratio. I will list what I use for 1:3:2 as it will change from week to week. 10-18 Lights are out for 30 hours and we will see how they look. Lights go back on at 6am EST. 10-19 The lights are kicking. Did some tucking. I did 30 hours of dark before introducing 12-12 light schedule. I can see some of the pre-flower hairs sticking out. 8-8-8 at 760 something ppm’s went well. This is the first run I will be hand feeding the plants throughout flower. I relied on dry amendments and had some success, but I think I can push the bar higher having more control over the feedings. I will be doing a total of 8 feedings. 10-22 The trellis is filling up!!! I added photosynthesis plus to the mix and some fulvic/humic acid. All the ladies are praying up.

Not much going on just checking the trichomes on the plants daily. Gave them some seaweed extract with their last watering. All should be coming down around day 70 of flower. Currently on week 9, day 3 of flower.

Super happy with how things are going for a first grow. I did some LST and regularly bend fan leaves to expose more areas to light. Feeding only water with a tiny bit of liquid fertilizer.

Was a decent grow considering I had one arm for most of it. These came out aight good smoke and bag appeal the smell left a little on the table. The buds are solid and fat as a mf which was good. Definitely solid strain.

WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. love seeing all the buds getting thicker and thicker by day. Tempted to harvest it early but I HAVE to be patient. Just a few more weeks and they'll be solid. Bottom leaves are dying so there's quite a bit to clean up but overall, really happy with how the ladies are turning out.
