Week 2: The Growth Phase Begins The germination phase is officially behind us, and it’s time to kick off the vegetative growth phase. Plants continued to mature this week and all the buds are getting fat they will have there last nutrient feed this week in prep for flushing and harvest next week. The Lemon Zkittles looks and smells amazing looks amazing. Nearly all the plants look and smell the small, good genetics and breading. The Cxx is again a very stable genetics and flowered and smells exactly as the last grow did. Good genetics. The Peyote Cookies and Shishkaberry also grew well and similar, good genetics. Afghan Kush amazing buds and very earthy smell.classic The gorilla cookies had a rather large variation in pheno types but all look amazing and each will be a pleasure to smoke.

Day 21 - Growth Diary Three weeks in, the plant continues to show steady progress. The leaves are broader and more defined, with a healthy green color. The structure looks stronger compared to the previous week, and the overall growth appears balanced. The plant seems to adapt well to its environment, and no major issues have been observed. 🌱 Fenyas und Alinas kleines großes Reiseabenteuer 🌱 Mit einer aufregenden Geschichte sind wir wieder zurück. 😊 18 Tage jung und so hyper aufgeregt. Nach dem letzten Mal, ist erstmal nicht so viel passiert. Unser sportliches Gymnastikprogramm ist etwas gestiegen im Anspruch. Alina stretcht sich etwas mehr seitlich, während ich, Fenya mich leicht verbiege. Hier und da, zeigen wir, dass unser Bedarf an Nährstoffen etwas in die Höhe gegangen ist aber unsere Wasserspenderin hat gleich reagiert. Das belohnen wir natürlich mit einem enormen Wachstum. Auch haben wir uns fleißig vorbereitet, auf unsere Freiheit. Das viereckige Licht über uns, ging plötzlich für ein paar Stunden aus. Die Nächte brachen in unseren Rhythmus ein. Alina und ich erzählten uns gegenseitig gruselige Monstergeschichten. Weiter ist bis heute nichts passiert. Und dann plötzlich ging die Tür von unserem Zimmer auf und anstatt unserer Routinebegrüßung und der fast täglichen Dusche, wurden wir davongetragen!! 😱 Zugegeben war das kurz etwas beängstigend. Wir dachten schon entführt worden zu sein. Aber jetzt stehen wir hier. An einem Ort, der so ganz anders ist. Die Luft ist freier, der Wind viel kräftiger. Das Licht so extrem hell. Es brauchte einen Augenblick, bis wir wieder richtig sehen konnten. Leicht zitternd, noch von dem Schreck, stand sie wieder liebevoll lächelnd vor uns. Unsere Wasserspenderin. Endlich hat es begonnen, unser Abenteuer in der Wildnis. Ich träumte verloren von all den Geschichten, dass ich fast gar nicht bemerkte, dass mir auf einmal der Kopf fehlte. Also, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes! Plötzlich war der einfach weg! Und bevor ich los schreien konnte, beruhigte mich unsere Wasserspenderin. Das sei nicht so schlimm und eigentlich wäre der Kopf gar nicht weg, hörte ich ihre liebevolle Stimme. Ich hab versucht mit meinen neuen wachsenden Köpfen um mich zu schauen. Und tatsächlich, zu meinen Füßen, fand ich meinen alten Kopf. Da steckt er nun in der Erde, versorgt mit Zimt Pulver und einem Schnaps zur Wurzelbildung. (Hesi - Wurzelkomplex) Das ist gewagt, aber machbar. Und unser Abenteuer wäre langweilig, wenn wir nicht ausgefallene Dinge ausprobieren würden. 🤷 Fleißig drücken wir jetzt "Baby Fenya" die Blättchen und hoffen, dass sie groß und stark wird. Beginning of week 7 in flower, only two more weeks left if they ripen like they did last time. Plants are beginning to smell, develop triches and fattening up. They're not going to get any taller but compared to my first grow they're double in size. It's getting really intense. I'm in there every day checking humidity (on the no defol side) and I'm starting to struggle keeping up with the feed. During lights off I've found the plants eat the most food. I topped up the res, added 25% more PK. I try to keep the plants at 700 ppm and in the space of four hours it dropped to 600 ppm (towards the end of lights off). I stopped directly loading with Calcium Nitrate and instead used a regular calmag. I'm about to go overboard with Calcium Nitrate again and bump the ppm up to 1k. Will see how far the ppm drops the next day. 17/02/20 Update: The plants are beginning to smell a lot more, it has that kind of fermenting pungent smell from a red paw paw but applied to a mango. Very sweet, it literally smells like I'm growing some kind of tropical fruit. Still struggling with the feed, I added close to 40g of calcium nitrate and the plants still dropped the ppm lower than when I boosted it. I find it really frustrating that Dual Fuel only sell as a pair. Part 2 is amazing for late flower. Potassium sulphate and Magnesium sulphate, it's the perfect PK boost and I don't know anyone other nutrient like it. The other PK boosters always have too much P. 18/02/20 Update: Still battling my plants and the efforts to keep up with them is still frustrating me. Ran out of potassium Sulphate and bought Bio Diesel Rhino K 0-0-15 as a substitute, talk about expensive but I was desperate. 19/02/20 Update: Uploaded how I pump calcium into my plants this late into flower. They eat more than what I showed daily. That's 100+ ppm of Ca everyday! I don't know how much pectin this plant has now but the Brix would have to be through the roof compared to my first grow. 20/02/20 Update: finally got the feed right for a twelve hour period. I'm using two times the amount of K any bloom booster recommends and I'm probably using ten times the amount of calcium easily. I'm also going to feed as minimal N from now on, I'd cut it out completely if I could but I rely on Micros for the macro nutrients. Spent $65 on that bottle of potash and I used a third of a bottle for one nutrient change, think I'll stick to using powered water soluble potassium sulfate. My main concern is that I won't be providing enough iron with the little Micro I'm giving it. Going to throw a couple of rustry nails into the res. I'm about to do a top up...dropping the Micro super low, putting minimal part 2 in. Along with all the fulvics, humics, kelp and other acids my ppm only sits at 244. Which gives me plenty of room to load up on calcium. Top up the mag cause what was in the part 2 wasn't enough then load K. 21/02/20 Update: The plants finally stalled and took a breather yesterday. Didn't upload any photos cause it looked the same as the day before. By the end of the evening it looked like the explosive growth started back up again and the photos from today will show it. The ppm was creeping up not down this time...finally over feeding them. Dropped the extra loading of calcium and potassium to regular bloom phase levels and bumped the chelators up instead. Update 22/02/20: plants aren't eating what they were. Ppm is remaining stable at 800. I won't dilute the res just yet. Still holding off to see if it goes up again. If it goes down I'll refeed the same formula as last time that has reduced calcium and potassium.

We're rolling into week 22, the 9th week of flower for these wonderful girls. Possibly the last week they'll have, at least the last week UKBS 1 may have. They've both shown great progress in terms of growth in the past week in my opinion, and the trichomes are beginning to present as cloudy with a smattering of amber. I like my CBN, so I prefer to let them amber slightly more than most. Rest assured I'll be keeping a close eye on trichome color in this next week or two. Timelapse is out for the week. Updates come as the week progresses, as usual. EOS T5 shots are out. -7/4/2021 - A cola on Carl 1 was too heavy for it's own good, and snapped. I decided to remove and dry it as I really don't see a point in trying to re-attach it at this point in flower. -7/6/2021 - Another cola snapped on Carl 1. Unfortunate, I was hoping she'd fatten up further first. Ah well.

Hey now, hope everyone has been well. Super excited football season is finally here so things are about to get busy. I went out of town for 4 days and the plants struggled a little bit with the PH getting slightly too high before I returned. I also came back to see that some type of insect was munching away on the lower leaves of my Sundae Driver which I sprayed the plant and coco with neem oil, but hopefully they didnt do much damage before I can get them under control I have never experienced insect problems indoors, likely because I grow in Coco and not Soil. However, I left a 5 gallon airpot full of coco from a previous grow outside for a couple weeks by mistake, and pretty sure bugs got into. I wont make that rookie mistake again. Anyways the rest of the ladies are looking pretty good, They are almost getting what I consider a full dose of nutrients, even though it half of the manufacturers recommended dosage. I am feeding all Gen Hydro cal mag, Armor Si, and maxi grow. I also add some food grade hydrogen peroxide to keep the reservoir fresh for around 10 days or so but I clean it once a week. Not sure why I cant select them on this site anymore, I know they got sold but they don't list them under either name. I did get all the ladies transplanted from solo cups to airpots on day 16, and it took 24 hours or so for them to recover from the transplant and start growing again. I am running 3 of the 3.4 gallon, and 2 of the 5.4 gallon just because that is what I had available. I hopefully top them all sometime this week for the first time, as soon as the roots are a little stronger. I let them grow to 7 nodes or so before I top them and make sure they're growing fast. Hopefully I can still mainline the Sundae Driver, she looks healthy other than those two leaves chomped off. I dont really do any LST until I get get the first toppings done, because my primary goal at this stage is to ensure she grows a strong set of roots before I start manipulating her. All the plants are on their 5th nodes, except for this Green Crack 2.0 which is only on her 4th node. We got another heat wave coming through my region that I am not too excited about but at least its earlly in the game and I dont need to crank this light up yet. I am only running it at 30% and its putting off plenty to keep this ladies happy. Hoping to get a topping done this week, then another one next week, and be ready to flip to flower by week 7 or so.
