9/19 tied up some of the drooping branches on the bottom that have fallen from their own mass/weight. Shes been smelling so so awesome this whole time. Each day more frost, resin and trichomes cover the buds 9/22 looked at trichomes through magnifier. They're magnificently long with big heads. Not very many amber heads though. Like maybe 30% clear, 60% cloudy and 10% amber. Thats just a rough guesstimate, I may change that ratio later

9/17 - Day 30 Flowering! Both shooting pistils with Mace pulling ahead of GG's schedule even more. GG started showing what appears to be a P deficiency on largest fan leaves. Took it as a sign to feed for BAS nutrient tea and bottom feeding some Buddha Bloom. Mace shows some mag def, increased calmag. 9/18 Added slight LST to GG, mostly to guide the main cola/stalk away from growing straight into the light. Elevated blumat res to increase warer rate. 9/23 - Day 36 Humming along! Added pics.

Still week 5 9/19/20. Started some low stress training with pipe cleaners and floral wire. Leaves look a little damaged, tiny brownish spots.

I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials. Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon. ‖ PESTS ‖ Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest. ‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖ This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. Hola a todos, día 81 de floración, en las últimas semanas antes de la cosecha, ya se ven los primeros tricomas de color ámbar, la planta ya muestra señales de la disminución de los nutrientes, se ve un degradado natural en la tonalidad del verde de las hojas, sin zonas necróticas salvo las quemaduras de las hojas más cercanas al foco. De aquí en adelante ya no queda mucho trabajo por hacer, observar y reposicionar las ramas que caen por el peso. Hasta la próxima semana!

It was my first cultivation. I learned a lot and will learn a lot more with the next ones. I understood that intervening on the plant requires a certain experience. In fact, of the three plants, this is the one that has grown best (and has not received any intervention). Easy cultivation ... great result!

We have 18 strains running with 2 regular strains, I want to be sure we can fill up the whole SOG. 9/7 - Just to recap last week. 9/5 I transplanted from the 16 oz solo cups into a one gallon 8" tall Active Aqua 6" x 6" Square Pots. Today, I topped and defoliated. Everything is looking good, now just waiting for them to bounce back. Hoping to be ready for flower within next week or two. This is my first run using a modified SOG method, and not sure how long it will take for them to be ready. Ideally I'd like each main growing shoot to be about 12" or so before sending to 12/12. BAD NEWS: Half of the blue diodes have gone out in the TMLAPY light. This light was actually gifted to me shortly after a friend purchased it from Amazon and realized it was too small for their space. It seemed to be serving it's purpose well for vegging photos and running bumper crops of autoflowers but it failed only four months after the warranty period ended! Weak-Sauce! Welp, looks like it's time to upgrade the 24"x48" tent to Samsung LM301H boards. I ordered a 320w straight single piece heatsink with 3 boards from Geeklight. I went with the 3k spectrum and switchable UV/IR since all my autoflowers bloom under this light. Day one of week five! 19th September! Small amount of defoliation today as some leaves had been laying on the soil and were turning yellow. Other than that the girls look good I think. A little more LST but think Ive got a good even spread so far.. 🤞🏼 Nutes gone in today Biobizz: Grow/Bloom/TopMax all at 1ml per litre.. Day 3 of week 5! Update 21st September: Nutes gone in again today BioBizz Grow/bloom/Top Max all at 1ml per litre... Starting to see signs of filtered water deficiencies so CalMag going in on next feed @ 1ml/l. Wasn’t sure if my water filter was much cop but looks like it’s better than I thought. Wish I’d gone with my gut and started the CalMag earlier! Other than that I’m giving them a couple more weeks of veg and then we’re going to flower 🌷 all being well 🤞🏼❤️ Day 4 UPDATE: 22nd Sept. More LST to keep things all the same height and encourage more new growth sites.. Day 49 of flower and this girl is so impressive! Super resinous and the smell is out of this world. If you even lightly bump into her the intoxicating scent of grape faygo and gasoline hits you like a sledgehammer. She goes into her "flush" (emerald harvest suggests a flush that uses a low amount of their base nutrients so thats what I do) starting tomorrow.

Day 49 with about 2 weeks left based on her trichomes. She's a little further ahead (maybe a week or 10 days) than the Slurricane and her stank is out of control. It smells like rotten sweet fruit and gas in my entire house from this plant.

Day 71. Starting to show some purple, which was unexpected! Removed a few leaves that were overlapping. Day 74: Today was a bit heart breaking. We found a spot with botrytis/stem rot starting to set in. It appears we have discovered it fairly early. After searching treatments, we ended up doing a mix of them to try and avoid losses. Obviously cutting the branch off would be the most obvious choice, but we are trying to keep her as is and do some experiments in the name of growing science. We dusted with cinnamon, which has proven to be efficient in terms of anti-fungal properties, and let it sit for a couple hours. Then, we decided to remove the spot where the rot is showing up. We sprayed with H2o2, scraped out the affected area as much as possible, sprayed again and wiped dry. We then sealed the wound with candle wax. We also spread some more cinnamon on other susceptible entry points for fungus, mostly where leaves had been cut or where the stem was more fragile. We really hope this turns out well and we win this fight against the dreaded fungi. We suspect the raise in humidity this week triggered it. She was in the 30s to 40% last week, but the weather changed and she rose about 60% these last couple days. Pray for us, grower friends. Day 75: Had to remove the side branch that was connected to the main stem at the spot where the rot appeared. 😕 Patched her up and am praying this is the last of the consequences of this situation.. Pushing as much as we can to avoid and chop her early.. Day 77: Gave her the final haircut. 😊 Mold situation appears to be under control. Looking frosty as fuck!
