Hey, Growmies checking in with my weekly update on my Green Crack girls. Since my last update I've started giving them their flowering nutrients and cut down on the others,also completely cleaned up the bottom and defoliated a lot of the fan leaves. The smell is already getting a lot stronger in the Tent and they are in full blown flowering stage and working hard to start making them buds.

Roughly 20-30% of trichomes heads now amber under 60x magnification. Would like to push for a few more but I don’t think she can hang on any longer. By the end of the week any remaining leaves are dying back quickly. Reduced Remo Nutrients from 11ml/gal each, to none to start flush on the 28th.

Topped & Sun-Kissed ☀️✂️ This week, I finally made the call—she’s been topped! 🌿 After a bit of back and forth, I decided it was time to give her structure a little boost and open things up to more sunlight. The side shoots are now reaching out confidently, soaking up every bit of that warm summer glow. ☀️ She’s had a golden week of sunshine and handled it like a champ—strong, vibrant growth and no signs of stress post-topping. 💪 Here’s what went into her care routine this week: 🔸 Fed with BioBizz Grow, CalMag and Alg-a-Mic 🔸 Followed by some homebrewed compost tea two days later for that microbial boost 🔸 Two days after that, a fresh round of Effective Microorganisms to enrich the soil life 🔸 And every 3 days, a light misting of silica spray to keep her leaves strong and resilient I’m super happy with how she’s shaping up so far—great energy, lush color, and the new growth is coming in fast. Curious to see how she responds to the topping in the next week!

This lady has recovered nicely from my 3rd and final hack attack on her. Leaves were so huge, still cannot get over it. Added an Exhale Homegrown Co2 bag to the tent right behind and above her this week as well. I have never used one of these before, but I figured I would give it a shot. More, any, will be good for the plant. Judging by the way she is growing, I imagine she will be hitting her prime height by the end of week 9. Fingers crossed, we will then be going to flower :) Time-lapse lost a days worth of photos. Some user error of some type. Lets just not question it shall we.

5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Hey guys! Week 8 for the plant or week 3 of flower! 😍 And holy cow, these girls are growing fast, specially my baby that's on the front. And in fact, since they are so developed I decided to add some PK supplements slightly earlier and see how things go! On top of that both girls seem to have slightly different phenotypes, one of them is slowly turning purple while the other one is getting purplier leaves and trichomes, which I believe looks beautiful. I also defoliated and worked on the LST again, I need the lower buds to develop as well! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the photos and see you all next week! 😊

Week 6........... Getting frosty Edit: on day 41,I already have amber but it's still packing on weight. I don't know what to do at this point.

This week the girls have stretched for the last time then the fun will really begin with the buds blowing up. Alaskan purple has the frosty sugar leafs which tells me she will be more potent at this point of the grow cycle. Both of the girls are in good health but Alaskan purple has 2 leafs that look like nutes burn from the feeding last week of the ff nutes, so only distilled water this week to kinda flush her then back to nutes feeding, which will be perfect timing for buds to start coming in. Overall it's rained a lot where I live which has made humidity a problem so I got another dehumidifier for my room to help with that problem other than that this grow is on track for a nice harvest.

Short term memory loss is a m'fer... *edit* i have talked directly to quite a few suppliers/vendors/etc... and i can tell you FastBuds is a great company to do business with. im not licking boots here... i paid for my beans, and am loving these FastBuds genetics so far. JUST LOOK AT IT! a little short, but i think thats my fault from around the day 21ish mark if ya look back in the diary. i told myself i wasnt going to run any more autos, unless it was some odd occasion. but IF i do in the future... it WILL be FastBuds. unless this pink runtz i have ends up being an auto, and if it is.. im going to off the fucker lol. Day 56- GC is trying to catch up. I think stabbing the main helped a lil lol. Few random plucks on WG tonight, and don't even want to start on GC for now. May clean it up a bit later depending on how the back feels. It's got a ton of branches that are going to be too close REAL soon. Kinda f'd GC off over a week ago, and said I'd run it again in the future to make up for it. So not too pressed on how it looks, as long as it stays alive until WG chopping day. Atleast it wasn't a male 🤣. Anyway, bumped the girls up to the "aggressive" mid bloom GHE feed. Using TAP water to reduce the amount of calmag needed since mine has N in it.. Breakdown as follows: 5gal TAP water - 137ppm 15mL calmag - up to 252ppm 10mL hydroguard Micro- 33mL Grow- 33mL Bloom- 47.5mL RES total after PH correction - 818 @ 5.91. ============================================================================================= Day 57- I REALLY need to cut back GC... like yesterday... backs been hurting something fierce, and I'm out of my medicine of choice ATM. few random plucks on WG today. may make my way in there again later and start hacking away at GC. will update pic if I do. They're both liking aggressive feed, maybe a touch too heavy on the N though. *edit* 🎶oops, i, stabbed it again...🎶 lol. still feel there's a branch that's gotta go. Started pulling WG out some to help expose lowers. Need more garden wire for sure ============================================================================================= Day 58- cut back GC even more.. we'll keep it alive, but I'll make sure it doesn't block the beloved WG. remember, there will be a list of things I learned I did WRONG in this experiment and will share at the conclusion. Progress seems slow on WG atm, but it's getting ready to fatten up and mature. ============================================================================================= Day 59- i just cut back GC AGAIN!!! like HALF of its branches, and cut all the tops to the same length before snapping todays pic. after comparing 58 to 59's pic... it STILL looks like it grew.. WTF... that things confused ASF or something... just dont herm on me... WG finish is right around the corner.. a few weeks... hang in there GC... hang in there... ive been topping off with 80% strength nutes and RO water, and the EC has remained pretty consistent. may bump em up one more time for WG next week to help fatten her up some. right before we dial it all back for the end. WG already looking pretty frosty, and the weatherman is predicting some more in the next weeks. *edit* added a night vid to show my WG defol struggles. Its easier to see why the foliage looks so thick and it needs a trim when lights on when you see lights off.. We're down to a few fans towards the bottom to help out down there. Rest are connected to bud sites, and are limited. Since she's riding along in this experiment... added her back today. WG is starting to phase 2. Her finish is coming within the next 2-3 weeks I'm guessing. Maybe 4? Coming along nicely this week, hoping to see them explode in the next 2-3weeks. All are very healthy and have responded just how I like to LST. Purpinator is bringing out the smells in there definately and they are all smelling good in their own way. I recommend all the products I have used in this diary highly as they haven't failed me in the past(yield and quality). The only new product I am using is green planet purpinator, so I will let you know if I recommend this too when all is finished. I'll upload daily or every couple of days. To clarify I have 6x 55litre buckets with 3 plants of the same strain in each. I have used coco substrate and grown all of them from seed(courtesy of barney's farm) Thanks for looking.
