Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

*Edit: dry weight and pic added 41.6g on the scales, plus a healthy 15g..... erm... product testing.... ahem! I''ll call it 2oz dry all in. I'm happy with that.* My second Purple haze auto from sensible seeds and again very happy with the plant. I have so many more strains to try, so I may never grow one again, but if I could only grow one strain again, from my short experience this girl would be the one for me. I could have harvested this girl a few weeks ago but I thought I would risk a few more weeks to see how her buds developed. I certainly made the right choice in doing so as these buds just got fatter and fatter. I trained her with a mixture of lst and the now traditional for me super cropping. I have had a shape her due to limited space in the grow cupboard to a more rectangular shape maximise the canopy size for the light. I have shown this in a video on my Bruce Banner #3 diary as Mrs B is being shaped. My biggest buds to date without a doubt. Hitting 200g wet with stems my fingers were aching holding the stems while trimming so they were very bud heavy. probably 50cm tall max from soil to top bud and a canopy space of around 60cm x 40cm available to her. Grown under 3 x £1 / €1 / $1 Standard shop bought LED bulbs (cool white and warm) around 10w each converted..... ...Sorry light companies... I think this a good yield and a proud growing moment personally. I do often say that I will update when I have a dry weight but I don't honestly think I have yet. So everything took off in flower, I was super harsh with the defoliating which initially I regretted, but was surprised with how they packed out during the following weeks. In general it's impressive how hardy these plants are. Even the outdoor grows yielded some quality. Add some more nuets (overdrive and carbo load), before flushing about 14 days before harvest, next time I'll do this earlier and really the Runtz could have gone another week but my drying needs to happen in the same space as my growing for now. Apologies for the quality of image, I'm just using my phone and some bits I have to document, I collect records too, so expect weird noises lol. Build a rotating plat from a lazt susan I found, has been the best piece of kit added this season.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Yo growmies! While all of Berlin was getting high at Mary Jane 2024, I paid my ladies a visit: Remember last week's manic defoliation? Yeah, let's just say I went a little Edward Scissorhands on the Pineapple Poison. It's because last year's monstrous Gelato that took two days to harvest (my arms were killing me!). This year's mission: big, juicy colas and a speedy harvest (last year it took us 2 days!). Well, the good news is, the Pineapple Poison is a tough cookie (or should I say, pineapple?). She bounced back like a champ! She's still on the short and bushy side, so I'm giving her a break from the shears this week. Just a few tiny shoots close to the main stem got evicted to keep those main colas in the spotlight. Speaking of spotlights, I also made a trippy video to test visuals for the contest. Let me know what you think of the hazy, dream-like vibe. Is it artsy or just accidentally blurry? You be the judge! Oh, and I discovered a couple of resident snails on the Pineapple Poison. Thankfully, these little guys seem to be no harm. We'll call them our "ganja garden guardians". In fact, I noticed with every outdoor grow that Cannabis plants create a tiny ecosystem for all kinds creepers and crawlers who like to soak up the flower fumes and chill out in the leafy shade, Stay tuned, growmies! Next week, we'll see if the Pineapple Poison keeps on churning out those juicy colas. well guys we go into 5th week of flower and these girls start to smell ! i got 3 lemom pheno and 2 pinneaple pheno ! last time i grew lemon og candy i got also a mix up of both phenos and both are really nice , the lemon one got a more haze like flavor and intense lemon aroma , and the pinneaple pheno smell literally like if u chopped a pinneaple and the flavor is more fruity ! they start covering in trichomes , im so happy so far! loving these qb ! let me know ur thougts fellas ! happy grows 😊

Day 33 ladies and gentlemen it looks like we are finally able to upload diaries and I'm very excited for this and I'm sure the breeders who sent me these seeds are happy as well.. shout out to Sensible Seeds for the opportunity to grow their genetics and showcase them.. this Grape Wine AKA grapefruit is showing signs of being sativa leaning which I believe she is.. this week I implemented silica to all my plants and that's it .. this is my first organic grow the plants are probably half the size of what I'm used to but we'll see when it's all said and done.. hope all is doing well I will be back to update in a few days on the start of week 5.. good luck to everybody and happy growing ✌️😎
