Hello Growmies, Week 14 in the flowering stage has delivered a welcome burst of growth for our Epic Buzz, affirming the effectiveness of the PK 13/14 addition. The buds have responded with an enthusiastic swell, stretching out in a display of potential that indicates the timing for the flower stretch was spot on. Despite the joy of an aromatic tent, there's been a slight hiccup with the filtration system. The intensity of the scent has outpaced the capabilities of my new Secret Jardin Carbon Filter, which hasn't lived up to the longevity of previous ones. Thankfully, with a spare filter added to the exhaust, we've managed to neutralize the odorous evidence of our thriving plant. The physical support of the plant became a necessary focus as the back main colas, heavy with dense buds, started to tip the balance. Resourcefulness came into play with some ties to the ceiling, ensuring stability for continued upward growth without any risk of toppling. The latest pictures showcase a remarkable transition. The colas stand tall, heavily frosted with trichomes, while the buds have fattened to an impressive size, hinting at a satisfying harvest to come. The leaves, a few with the yellowing edges of hard work and past stress, don't detract from the overall vibrancy of the plant. These older leaves will naturally give way as the plant dedicates itself to the buds, a process we're now observing. Beneath the surface, the roots tell a story of health and eagerness, their robust structure pulling in the nutrients that fuel the flowers above. The buds themselves, each a potential powerhouse of flavor and effect, are a testament to the care and attention invested over these weeks. Moving forward, the structural reinforcement will hopefully allow the plant to focus all her energy on the final maturation of her buds. The expectation of harvesting these dense, resin-packed colas is building with each passing day. Topped her and started pulling branches down. Still around 4ml per gallon of nutrients I don't want to go too heavy this time around. Overall the plant is really healthy looking.

So, the fourth week has come to an end. The girls are slowly blossoming. Pineapple had some problems with watering and nitrogen deficiency, if I'm not mistaken. I hope everything will be fine 😋

Unfortunately I had to go away for a couple days, so the babies didn’t get nutes for a few days - they did get watered though. Have added BIG BUD in to the mix now; so the plants should be getting that extra PK they are craving. Other than that, the stretch continues and we’ve seen about 8-12 cms growth in places. I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.

From week 1 and 2 i thought betty was going to be a non starter but at week 6 she is 2/3 her ideal indoor height, 1m, and looking strong, healthy and green.

11/17/18 Beginning of week 4 of flower. Day 21-22 of flower. So far I am pretty happy with my results. O think I identified one sativa leaning phenotype, one indica, and also that grows slower then the rest. Although not entirely sure if its the environment that created these differences. As they further develop I may get some clues to this regard. Black Magic soil seems to work great with no issues of burning or deficiencies whatsoever. Are far as smell its not very noticeable unless the plants are disturbed or pruned. Decided to discontinue the Aerated teas. Im sure the ladies have plenty or microbes in the soil. The rest of this grow they will only be feed 3-12-12 bloom fert untill its time to start the flush. Buds should really start to develop in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Also im already planning my next run which will be 10X different strains including this one. Another 5-6 weeks on this one. I suspect my LED was a little too close. Increased distance.Other then that smooth sailing. The next 2 weeks they should really begin to develop and put on weight. Cant wait to see what these 4 beauties produce!

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 PURPS ARE HERE TO STAY OH YAY!! Thinking about changing the title of this diary to that right there.. Like i said last week, purps are here to stay, nugs are 100% all purple though leaves are green. The smell has really come in this week. In spain we call this the Cali aroma, that high grade aroma. 😂 Kind of bummed that the buds aren't as big as I imagined but then again I wasn't expecting the purps so yeah, you get what you get I guess... They are getting a bit denser, so that's nice. Things are running smoothly.. In flower I use Enzymes once every 10 days or so to help out with the roots.. That's it.. hope you like the content.
