WEEK 5 8/16- Alrighty! Start of week five and all the ladies are in flower and starting to look sexy as hell! Even the Crystal Meth #2 in the SOHUM Living Soil that had a soil ph of 5.2-5.4 and 4.2 ph runoff on a 4 1/2 gallon flush of 7.7 ph water is doing well! I checked the ph on her soil this morning and she's at 6.4...PERFECT! I gave all the girls a drink of de-chlorinated water in the amount of 2 1/2g with 1 tsp CalMag+ added and ph'd to 6.9 split evenly between them. 8/17- Day 30- The girls are all really growing like crazy filling out their 10g fabric pots. I went through all of them today and, using the green horticultural wire LST'd the crap out of everyone! I know, I know....LST on Day 30??? I've LST'd this late before and had really good results so giving it a go this run. Gave all the girls a small drink as they were moist 2" down using 2 1/2g de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 75 deg. After I LST'd all the girls, I selectively tucked shade leaves and defoliated a couple here and there and also removed all the shitty little undergrowth down low on the main stalks. Can't believe the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 came back from the edge of oblivion. I checked her medium(SOHUM Living Soil) ph which is still @ 6.4...whew! I think she's gonna do just fine, although not as good as her sister who's an obviously different phenotype. 8/18- Cranked up the HLG 650R's to max today. Now drawing 1300w at the wall-650w each and raised both lights to 42" high which is giving 800-1100 umols depending on what place on the canopy you check. 8/19- I administered the second dose of live Nematode's with the girls morning watering. I put the Nematodes in 2 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 @ 74 deg. and split it evenly between all eight pots. I tightened up the LST on all the girls to keep spreading them out and getting better light penetration into the lower canopy. 8/20- I started a batch of Compost Tea this morning- 4 cups worm castings, 1 cup of Alfalfa Meal, 1 cup Kelp Meal, 2 tbsp Bat Guano into 4 1/2 gallons of de-chlorinated water with a 6.9ph in which I added 5 tbsp of unsulphured molasses as a catalyst for the microbes. I'll brew this for 48 hours. The ladies all were moist enough that I felt safe skipping the water for today, I'll give them a light watering tomorrow, then a heavy feed with the compost tea. I went through and tucked the heck out of leaves blocking bud sites from light (this is a chore as the girls are getting BUSHY as hell!) and removed a few scattered fan leaves that refused to be tucked and were really blocking light into the lower canopy....can't be having that, need the LIGHT! 8/21- Ladies were all looking very perky this morning and the FastBuds Crystal Meth and Purple Lemonade are both getting beautiful purple shades to them especially the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate, she's absolutely on FIRE although her node spacing is very wide. The #2 Crystal Meth in SOHUM that had the ph issue with her medium seems to have recovered after I flushed the shit out of her. She's behind her sister and definitely has a different structure than the #1 phenotype. The Purple Lemonade #1 & #2 are both flowering with #2 looking way better. The #1 Purple Lemonade has some thick kushy leaves and she's a short little biatch, in contrast to the #2 which is tall and lanky with wider node spacing. The #2 Purple Lemonade is having a little issue apparently with the nitrogen level in the medium as she's getting 'claw tips' on several of her leaves and judging by her dark green coloration, she's nitrogen rich right now. I'll keep an eye on her but don't think it's a big issue at this moment in time. The Seedsman Gelato OG in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate is getting bushy and has filled out the 10 gallon fabric pot. She's got a ton of bud sites and it's a struggle training to keep all the sites exposed to light. The #2 Gelato OG in SOHUM is doing about the same as her sister but she's not quite as tall. The Seedsman Zkittles #1 slowed down on her stretch and just decided to get bushy instead! She's still in pre-flower but is very healthy and will be getting it on very soon! Her 'Sin Twisters' Zkittles #2 & #3 are beautiful and in flower. The Zkittles 'twins' were previously the shortest plants in this run but have caught up and are as tall as the Zkittles #1 @ 14". 8/22- End of Week 4! The girls got Compost Tea ( 8.1 ph, 840 ppm and 1636 EC @ 78 deg.) for breakfast this morning along with a top dress on the six ladies growing in Natures Living Soil Autoflower Concentrate / Fox Farms Happy Frog mix. The two SOHUM pots with the Seedsman Gelato OG #2 and FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 got 4 tbsp of 2-8-4 slow release dry amendments by Down To Earth top dressed and worked in by hand. I gave them each 1/2 gallon of Compost Tea after top dressing to help water in the nutrients. I went through all the girls and tucked and gently spread their branches to continue to train them as they get ready to really start flowering. The FastBuds girls are getting MORE colorful each and every day and I can't wait to open the tent each morning to see them....BEAUTIFUL!!!

Week 3 of flowering 10/2/24 Put on another net for support. Defoliated and lollipoped front plants. Watering 4 times a day (with little runoff at the first watering) one hand watering with full saturation of the media with 10% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC once in 3 days. Hopefully plants reached maximum stretch (lights now at max height and 80% power). changed nutrients schedule to mid bloom (base chart from CocoForCannabis, with small changes to the nutrient line I have). Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.

Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 77 - Watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3 💪🏻 Great week, she is bulking like crazy and requires feeding every second day, her buds are getting so big🤘🏻 I removed a couple of the lower hanging fan leaves and that's pretty much it, she has been a super easy grow so far!!

This plant is very close to being done, I am going to be looking at the Trichomes in a couple of days,, They are starting to Cloud up now and should be done very soon. I am happy I got a couple of plants this cycle as the Central Illinois temps are unpredictable in Winter and spring.....

***New Addition*** Day 82 - Big tank change out. Had a massive drop in pH while EC rose some again (Only been adding RO water the last few days to keep tank in check around EC1.2-1.3, had jumped to 1.6. PH Drop was from 5.9-6 to 4.9-5.0 from it being stable for 4-5 days). After epsom salting the leaves last week, still noticing some lower leaves "Praying" and some dead and drying ones hanging from the plant. Its getting to about the mid-way point of the plant now (again, all that's under the scrog but...) but getting too close for comfort!!! Have edited my formula slightly for this change out to: *2ml/L Bloom A & B (So 100ml of each in a 50L tank) *1ml/L Silicon *0.6g/L Epsom Salts *1ml/L 9/18 PK Warrior (This was a f**k up, should have been 0.5ml/L - hopefully doesn't impact or isn't the cause for Mg issues - causing a lockout) 2ml/L Sumo Active Boost 2ml/L Fulvic Acid 2ml/L Sensizym 2ml pH Down to bring the lot to pH 5.7-5.8 This brought me to about 1.6EC, pH6.4 (Expected value was 1.521 from Hydrobuddy Calc for the * ingredients - My water bases at 0.2EC so a close enough calc!!!) - Higher than I have been putting in but i think most of the EC rise is from the Sulfate in the Epsom Salts (The Sulfur alone is about 0.32EC). Also, with it coming late autumn and the tent in an outdoor cabin, got a temp controller to bring on a heater to stop the temp dropping below 16.5C...its now averaging out around 18.7 during the night so that's decent enough (Was potentially getting sub 15C - recent day temps have been 9-11C so could have been pretty chilly in there!!!). Also put my aquarium heater in the tank to bring the solution to around 19C as 1 of the plants has grew an absolute root mass into the tank itself - It is defying the Smart Pots and getting itself into there even after a pruning a few weeks back!!! So, tank change happened a few days early but what the hey...passed the time with a hot whiskey or 5!!! :P ******************************************** Day 78 - Really haven't done anything with the girls the last week. Just been topping up with pH adjusted water, bringing down the nute strength a bit as they're taking on water but not really taking on any nutes. General monitoring. Think I am going to have to get a heater out in the cabin as the night (IRL Day temps) are getting 15C and below so worried that could be impacting some nute uptake - Gave them an epsom foliar last night and then the bi-weekly Geisha foliar spray just before lights out this morning. Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Plants may use approximately 25% of their respiratory energy (50% of total respiration) for enzyme turnover, which includes production and repair, but the exact energy cost for heat damage repair is not specific, as the total respiratory energy is not definitively given for plants. Plants generally have a high protein turnover rate, with enzymes making up a substantial portion of this turnover. 10% total ATP is photosynthetically processed. 90% total ATP is processed during cellular respiration. 25% -50% total respiratory energetic output is spent on enzyme turnover (Ballpark). Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

Me encuentro disfrutando de la manicura y hermosa cosecha que estoy obteniendo con esta planta, mi casa está impregnada por una fragancia dulce con toques tangie. Ahora cortaré por ramas y colgaré en la carpa de cultivo donde se secará por aproximadamente 10 días con humedad y temperatura controlada. Esperaré a curar y probar bien todos esos terps para poder dar un buen informe de cosecha pero hasta ahora todo se ve muy bien! Buenos Humos 👽

Decided after seeing the improvement in the Tangerine Dream to continue with the new feeding schedule, which will include a flush in a few days. She got pretty burnt from the salt based nutes, but her flowers have thickened up considerable over the last few days so I will try to get as much out of her as possible. NCH x SB trichomes are finally beginning to fill out with milk, and several sugar leaves have already gone 30% amber. One more week of flushing and I think I’ll chop her down. Feed pH 6.5, EC 0.9. Flush pH 6.2, EC 0.3.
