Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

She only grew 8cm this week. Slowing down the stretch now She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 12 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. New growth looks nice and healthy though, flowering is going well, trichomes are enlarging this week, she's getting quite frosty already! Week 6 begins for LSD and Green Crack! These ladies were thirsty! They will get an extra 1/2 round of feeding later this week to satisfy their hunger. LSD smells so fruity and citrusy and is frosty. Hopefully they'll bulk up from here to the finish line. Green Crack is just starting to show frost, she's got lots of bud development, but still waiting for them to bulk up over the next 2-3 weeks. Critical x Animal Cookies is stunned from the too much nutrition at the start. Plus everything was neem oil sprayed this last week. I had russet mites in the next grow space over. So I wanted to treat everything that was vegging plus the problem plant. So she got her first solution change today. So hopefully she takes off. No training this week with spraying. 06/13 - Flipped into flower - today will be "DAY 1" of flower (Pre-flower) - I will feed only clean water for about a week to remove any excess veg nuts and salt accumulation - I will introduce flower nutes in about 2 weeks starting with with low dosage flower fuel, phosphate and potassium, as the weeks progress I will add more nutrient components. Feeding program will continue on the Vivosun drip emitter and a Exhale C02 bag will be added to the tent as well. 06/15 - Day 2 of pre-flower so much going on - still just clean water feeds until next week - I would like to bring down with salt build up from the veg feeds and as well bring down the EC/PPM values just a bit before introducing the flower nutrients - I will be picking up the lights about 4 to 5 inches as it stands the out main colas are only about 4 inches away from the touching the light and I would like to negate li

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back! 🌿💚 Willkommen zur siebten vergangenen Blütewoche! Blütetag 57. Hier im Weedefix Grow, erreichen wir aktuell eine höhe von 142cm. Und eine Breite von 62cm. Die Blütenstruktur findet allmählich ihr finale Form. Es zeichnet sich ein durchgängis schönes und gesundes Wachstum ab.. Das Icing zieht sich bei diesem Pheno etwas stärker durch, dafür ist die Blütenstruktur etwas kleiner. Diese Woche wurden nochmal wie angegeben 5ml Wachstum pro l Wasser zugegeben und damit gegossen. Hier habe ich die Zufuhr etwas erhöht, um die PK Komponenten des Düngers einzubringen. Das Aroma der Pflanze ist etwas chemischer/ skunkiger als bei der anderen. Langsam erreichen wir die Zielgerade und bei diesem Phenotyp landen wir beim Ertrag auf jeden Fall im L Bereich. Glad to have gotten what I did. Small harvest. But it wasn't about that for me. I done a huge number of crops to hone in what traits I like. And now I pick with much more by looking at the genes and what went into making it.

Bubble og man these ladies loved being topped they were not growing the fastest before topping but after getting topped they have really been stretching out they very much have a scrog potential the branchs bend easily and have good distance between nodes to work with The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

I started cutting most of the fan leaves today. She looks good and I can see buds beginning to grow :) She really has giant fan leaves and massive stems... In case you're wondering: the scrogging net makes no sense at all since there was no space left to do anything with it :) It's just there for the other plants...

I also gave her overdrive !!!))) probably my favorite fertilizer! I love her effect! how it affects the buds! and how quickly you can see its effect. Welcome to Week 8! Both plants have been growing a lot lately! I started to bend the cola of Plant 7 because she is finally 10” tall 😁 I will need to be extra careful though! Last grow I accidentally broke a cola while trying to train it! Ended up fine, but don’t want to do it again on these!

Despite the scrog failing, I was able to train some branches to the outer band. Have a lens coming in tomorrow for trich inspection. Currently most mature plant (red) is looking to have some cloudy for sure. Red probably got her last heavy nutes this week. Cut grow big for white. Will do a semi flush with pH'd water with light cal mag and big bloom on next feeding followed by a final full flush. Ripening seems to be staggered 5-7 days plant to plant red -> white -> blue -> yellow Depending on how things look on the lower buds.I am definitely considering a gradual (ripe bud) harvest approach.

We’re officially on the home stretch with the Papayton #3, and honestly, the view every time I open the tent is just insane. This phenotype has developed into a real "Dark Empress." The contrast between the deep, almost onyx-colored leaves and that thick, white blanket of frost is exactly what I was hoping for when I started this run. Looking at the buds today at Day 63, the density is incredible. The calyxes have swollen to the point where the stems have completely disappeared under a mountain of resin. I spent some time today removing the last few crispy fan leaves to make sure the airflow is spot on for these final days—especially after those 29°C peaks we had. Luckily, things have cooled down to a steady 26°C, which is perfect for preserving those loud, gassy, and sweet terpenes. Trichome-wise, she’s sitting at a perfect 100% milky state. I’ve spent a good amount of time with the loupe, and while amber is still rare—maybe around 2% on the actual calyxes—the sheer depth of the cloudiness tells me she’s right at her peak potency. I’m sticking to the plan: one very last small drink tomorrow to keep her from wilting, and then a slow dry-down leading up to the harvest on Friday or Saturday. It’s been a pleasure watching this organic Biotabs-fed lady finish so strong. Can't wait for the final weigh-in and the smoke test!
