Hello Growmies, The first week of flowering has wrapped up, and I'm pleased to report that she's stretched evenly through the ScrOG. I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Her root system is expanding robustly, gearing up for increased growth above ground. To support this, I've upped the dosage of Orca along with the boost accelerator. 03/21/2021 All going well with the exception of the broken branch, but she is still looking healthy she(cutting) is in vermiculite and soil blend and soaked with Grow Rich 4-10-3 with IBA,to see if she roots. If not at least mother should have better buds with one less top. 1st video is at lights on, 2nd is just before lights out.

I have decided to chop the most mature plant of the three, even though it could go longer I was originally going to be chopping all three because I am about to leave on a trip, however a friend of mine is able to take care of the other 2 less mature ones. I was planning on just saying fuck it and chop them all but the less mature ones have still mostly white pistils and I can’t bring myself to do it, they started putting more weight on these past few days and I know if they just could get a few more weeks they will really be amazing with a lot of weight. Interesting that one matured faster than the other 2, although I think this corresponds with the size of the buds as the mature plant’s buds are not particularly big, hoping to pull 25 grams at least from it. The less mature plants are beginning to bulk and as I stated earlier, I just can’t chop them and ruin all their potential yet. The calyxs are swelling a lot and looking super tasty. Day 58 - 07/02/20 About 70% or more pistils are amber and ive harvested the inner stems of the plant yesterday and today and trimmed it all down to individual buds before putting it in the net to dry for a week :) The inner stems had such thick and dense buds on them that it was blocking some light from the buds on the outer stems and preventing them from reaching full maturity. They are now getting all the light they need for a few more days during the flushing week. I will also be reducing the light from 18/6 down to 12/12 this week as its not possible for me to isolate the plants in total darkness for 72h. I was told that no light right before harvest will mean more THC production, any time i knock the lights back before harvest my buds always look frosty and covered in trichomes. I cant wait until i have a smaller veg tent and another tent so i can isolate the plants for the full 72 hours. Anyways i had a little problem over the last 2 weeks with my PH pen being cheap and nasty, it constantly needs calibrated but still its doing a basic job and preventing more serious PH issues until i get a replacement. i also think i might have flushed the plants at that time before calibrating the PH meter and they were not happy about it :) Everything looks okay now in my tent and im just giving this one only Phed tap water until harvest :) I added a few photos of the Cayenne pepper plants harvest, the pepper plant was in one of my older grows i think maybe my first... could be the quick one diary, with minimal care and a little water i grew some monster peppers, i wanted to give them thier own diary but im not sure how GD would react hahah. so i posted them here, These peppers were all grown under the same light in the exact same conditions as i grow my weed with no bugs 🐜 or problems with mould, id strongly reccommend giving it a go and use up that grow space, especially as its bad for the environment to indoor grow! make the most of it folks! Anyways happy medicating for this week and check out my other diaries if you all get time :) Day 60 - 09/02/20 Added a video of a few buds from the inner stems drying on my drying net. I trimmed the fan leaves off and chopped the tips of the sugar leaves which had no trichomes on them. most of the test buds got all the visible stem removed but i left a few of the chunky tops to dry just to see how they turn out. Anyways im going to flush for a few more days before chopping the rest down and getting it ready to dry :) Keep on growing folks!

Following the plan, the girls are beautiful and were already quite big during this stretching phase. I hope everything continues as it is now during this growth and weight gain phase. For the rest, just wait for time to pass. 🌱🌿✌️✌️

The calmag deficiency has improved significantly and the plants are now putting all their energy into the flowers. In the meantime, no new eggs are forming, which makes us very happy :)

Retiro las primeras hojas que salieron que se quedaban sin fuerza/luz abajo y se estaban pochando. Avanza lo que parecía sequedad, ahora tiene mas pinta de hongo (mildiu). Corto las 4 hojas afectadas. Amanece reforzada y sin rastro del hongo. Apliqué la solución para curarla a pesar de ver mejoría. Parece que crece bien pero sigue desarrollando una especie de manchas al final de las hojas grandes

The girls have recovered well from my incompetence ( hot solution and too much light) they have took off and are getting some bushiness to them. I will be transplanting to a 2 gallon pot in the very near future. Temps have been high, but the RH has also been high so the VPD hasn’t suffered too much. Started feeding the girls about 1/3 to 1/2 cup water, and by the end of the week we were at nearly a full cup. They are drying back well, and are needing some water every third day or so…

I’m very happy to see this baby’s resistance to hot summer!! I hope she grows up nice and healthy
