Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Outcome was alright since i had a mite infestation for so long, still happy of what i got out of the plants! will update on dry weight and taste etc. Also that was the first time in grew with “decent” equipment, since i don’t have alot of money to spend i got these quantum boards off alibaba & i’m pretty impressed off what they are able to do!

Day 43-23/01/22 all looking good!!!! Day 49-29/01/22 everything still going good The mars hydro lights are working well! They all seem to be growing the same the odd one abit slower but so far so could!!! I put one of the chemdawg in the hps tent to see how different it comes out!!! But yeah very easy going at the moment!!!

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. This plant had been topped and had a triple top and I've topped just the two so i have 5 top colas i hope they yield massive 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Girls still stretching during the last week, couple really got up over the net but they are on the sides of the tent mainly so no biggy, looks like we might get a couple big ass buds off some of them on the flip side. Lol looks like 3 of the 4 seem to have made a run for the light, but the 4th is staying short and squat. I actually have another banana bomb going in a separate tent from the same seed pack started at the same time, just put her into flowering 2 weeks earlier. That one is under LED but it too stayed short and squat. I spread her out on a single screen and she barely stretched at all, no need for the second screen. So I was not really expecting these other 3 to go so dam big! Lol we will manage though like always. I tried to turn up the light to 1000w for a few hours too but they didn’t seem to like 300000+ Lux...lol kinda thought so, but I figured maybe with the light movers I could hit them with a bit more but not the case it seems, they came up to high over the screen and my lights maxed out height wise. They seem to be happy with the 750w now so we will keep it there. I’m still trying to figure out these light movers so I think that also had a play it the stretch as well, I believe I had them pausing to long at each end and the other end was to long without light, making them stretch more. I’m starting to dial it in I think for my setup now though, just takes trail and error and a long time to wait to see any changes. Lol this is my second run with this light mover setup now so I’m learning more each time. Well that’s it for now, we will keep on keeping on. Cheers!💨

I need to dry the buds in the dark at 19 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity. I hope the effect will be good, The only thing I don't like is that she has too many leaves and I get very tired when trimming the buds, but that's the fault of the strain and genetics and that's how it should be!

The girls grew up again and are already 110 cm tall. I don't see any problems ... I did supercroping and they are fine too ... We keep going ...🍃🍃🍃

I have the AirCube system set to 'Automatic Feed' now with two feeds per day for 15min. each. I'm checking the reservoir PH and EC before each feed as I'm still getting a PH climb due to the large air stone I have in the reservoir, and I want to keep my ppm's in the 600-700 range. So far, so good with the increase of nutrients. It looks like they are all beginning to get their color back, albeit slowly. 10/17- The Tropicana Cookies continue to be fed twice daily at 7am and 9pm, which works out to three hours AFTER lights on and six hours BEFORE lights off. So far this is working well with the medium having ample time to drain between feedings. I can see a noticeable difference in their color now, especially in the #1 plant. The #2 plant has a pair of lower leaves that are pretty damaged and I'll do a 'surgical' removal of them soon. the #3 is looking the best of the group, but the other two are on the rebound now. I'll have to wait and see how much this problem affects the plants growth and flowering and hope for the best! 10/19- I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and my little ladies have made a dramatic comeback! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. Today, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/21- There goes three weeks from seed on the books! All three Tropicana Cookies are looking really good now with great color and vigor, and I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life!
