It's getting there! Maybe a week or two for the Quick One, and 2-3 weeks for the Apple Fritter. They are starting to show some deficiencies, but I won't bother adding any more fertilizer. But I will look into the whole fertilizing process for my next grow, so far I'm really, really happy how they are doing so far :) Smell is getting strong, had to buy a carbon filter, so I won't bother my neighbors 😅

Things are starting to be exciting. The SQ is a bit slower than the Fat Bananas, even so, it developed nicely this week. Planning to top it at the 6th node this time and give around 5-6 weeks of veg.

wow, she's amazing:) with the conditions she has, this is a super result :) the weather is not spoiling us - every day, little sun - lots of clouds + almost half a balcony :D :D she has 3 more weeks - then I'll go on a long vacation :) everything didn't go as planned,:) I think she needs more time:) there will be a renewal until the finish :).

Another week down absolutely no problems stress free week, alrighty then, bye bye now..... okay fine who am I kidding there's no such thing as an easy week in this journal so let's just get into it. Started of the week well enough buds sites forming Dennis is a little behind but thats just Dennis. The problem child of the group was given a flush with nutrients at the start of the week. The black spotting and leaf necrosis has slowed significantly. Looks like just one or two leaves affected. Maybe the microbes and removal or calmag are starting to balance things out. Im still not 100% on what the cause is... if its ph, lockout, calmag, phosphorus def, problems with my water or something else. Maybe Dennis just likes to watch me stress out and run 3000 google searches on what it could be.. honestly thats probably it. Mid week I got caught sleeping on the job and the tent wilted from underwatering, I caught this about 10 minutes before lights out when I returned from work. I've never mixed a batch of feed so quickly, it was like what I'd imagine being a chef for Gordon Ramsey feels like. I usually ph to 5.9-6.1 but I've been watching some bill ward vids on youtube who suggests 5.7 so we gave it a try. No time to make the ol' calmag free batch for Dennis, just eat your calmag and go the f to sleep. Now this morning 10 minutes before I typed this I've found black necrosis spots on over a dozen leaves. Even some on on another plants. One plant had some nitrogen def showing in the lower leaves even with the feed being yesterday which is baffling. Its gotta be the ph. The promix hp could have drifted to a nono spot in ph im not sure. Open to advice and suggestions...anything.. I need to right the ship and fast. The only other thing it could be is the lack of a male presence has left then tent and the females are depressed. I've added an important male figure back into the tent in hopes of raising overall morale. Hope it works

***Update*** have switched 2 of 3 to 5 gals will do the other one as soon as I get more coco..looking to veg maybe another 2 weeks then going to flip. Recently acquired LED light for my veg room so have 250w hps n 300w LED..ladies seem to be loving it.

Day 57-63 Week 9 Halfway through last week, I noticed a issue with a wilting, deep water culture bucket. I realized there was a possibility I created an imbalanced solution for my plant that shuts them out, even though it was in the correct p.H range I probably encouraged mold or stagnant root growth. They are all picking up.Don't look stressed.They look happy and pointing towards the light.

I say 56grams but I smoked like a quarter of the plant by the time it all was dry lol. But this shit stinks. In the dry tent I thought it was moldy and was gonna throw it out I couldn't see mold but God fucking damn it was giving off this strong ill call it odor. Lol my wife said it smelled like loud cheesy bud. Now in jars it smells cheeeeesssyyy af with alot of earthy undertones but not like too dry earthy if you know you know smokes great gets me higher than a mother and made some great butter usedbin cookies and something unknown yet lol. Check my sideways plant out lol

Defoiled and lolipoped some more Canopy is very even this time and alot of budsites were growing over the extended vegetation period...sadly they're still 2+ weeks behind schedule due to overwatering in the early stages Now 8 weeks vegetation instead of 6... Added the sanlight Q3WL & the ProEmit UVA...the UVA will be on for 2h/day...will raise it to 5h over the next 3 weeks Switched to 12/12 on friday afternoon

This is the first week of flower for Juana, today 01/11 is the first day she is in 12/12 schedule. I will be doing the same top dress for her. They are ragging and showing some good health as well. Maria is behind them in growth but that's ok, i feel i'm running out of space right know. Last week I accidentally broke one Maria's cola :(, poor girl. I was doing some lst and the stem was really tough. I should've been more carefull, my fault.

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

Going good so far. I am shocked how little water I have had to feed them honestly. My preperation has paid off very well. 6/13/2024 Day 22 Temp: 82 F RH: 70% VPD: 1.17kPa I went ahead and chopped the middle plant. Mycelium is appearing below and that’s rad! I lowered the plant off the crate I had it on and went ahead and raised the light power to 10/10 because my PAR was good. All plants are showing pistils now. Bloom/Flower has begun. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved.
