This plant came down after 115 days of life, and 59 days of flower. I enjoyed everything about this plant for the entire grow. It didn't give me any problems with nutrients that were hard to handle. It had minor burns at the tips, but that's usually what I'm looking for in my nutrient levels - right at the limit. The plant became super smelly towards the end. So much so that I got a letter about it 😶. It got even smellier when it was trimming. I'm really looking forward to seeing how these buds will look after drying up. I'm really hoping to see extra dense buds with some heft to them.

Well, they got their first topping midway through last week. Waited a few days then gave them a bit more stress with a container change. Probably should have waited a few more days before moving them but they seem to have bounced back well. Started the transition to flowering and will go ahead and give them a quick defoliation and trim again starting next week. That will be the end of clipping and such.

The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Feb 22 Really starting to thicken up! The soil underneath is still plenty moist even though the fan is blowing on it 24 hours a day. The roots will grow more quickly as the water dries up and the roots continue their search for more.

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

It is very simple in cultivation, very fragrant, sweet taste, the effect is wonderful, I really like the cool variety I advise everyone !!! I would like to thank all who helped me achieve the result !!!

All good at the end i topped them and made cuttlings from it that do well now the canopy is nice and even Most hickups with the FG system are gone and next week we go to 12:12😁

Grüßt euch Freunde! Wir sind nun am Ende der 4. Woche. Einige Blätter verfärben sich Lila. Habe in dieser Woche nicht viel getan, außer Wasser und Dünger zu geben. Die PPOG entwickelt in der 4 Woche wirklich heftig Resin. Sie sieht wirklich frosty aus, gefällt mir !☺️ Mir ist nun aufgefallen, dass die unteren Blätter alle die Spitzen nach unten neigen. Man nennt das auch ‚Adlerkrallen‘ und ist auf einen Stickstoff Überschuss zurückzuführen. Habe durch die Verfärbung der Blätter auf einen Mangel geschlossen, war vielleicht nicht die beste Idee mehr Bio Grow zuzuführen😂 Werde im laufe der 5 Woche keinen Bio Grow mehr verwenden und beobachten wie sich das entwickelt. Euch allen eine gute Woche !💚

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.
