We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨

The weather was sunny and hot this week and the plants grew pretty well even if they have long and thin stems. The roots reached the bottom of the pot for most of them. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake have developped some tiny lateral branches. The Gorilla Punch already have some pistils. So far, the most developped plants are Gorilla Punch and Pound Cake, followed by Orange Sherbet and Apricot. The Apricot stem is thinner than the other ones. Maybe due to its tougher start. Overall happy with the grow, I will try this strain again outdoors when I get the opportunity. A very good all day smoke that doesn't get boring 😁

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥 We ran this one in an even parts soil, compost, coco and purlite mix. The hope was to minimize required nute feedings and maintenance. The addition of nute nuetral coco proved to be somewhat of a mistake and may have contributed to some unnecessary plant stress when she used up all the available natural nutes in the soil and compost. There simply wasn’t enough good stuff in the medium to see her happily through the cycle without extra supplementation. I’d do this again but leave out the coco and layer the compost at the bottom with minimal medium saturation and runoff in early/mid veg. This should achieve better results the next time round. She was entirely untrained and allowed to stretch to her highest height. A better yield definitely would’ve been derived with some topping/mainlining and training but regardless, her freak flag flew high and She went unnoticed by unwanted eyes. We won’t be able to grow high next year due to construction next door so this may be the last time I run a skyscraper outdoor in the rear yard. 1/5 volume emojis for method because there really wasn’t any training. 2/5 coconut emojis- not for the lack of training but due to the unsupportive medium amendments like the coco. Yield🌴🌴🌴 And now the part we all seem to measure with great expectation. The expectation in this case was to pull 9-12oz off this girl and we fell well short of that. For the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that she was putting at least some of her efforts into seed production too. We spotted it pretty early on in flower and some stalks started showing signs of ball formation that every grower fears. I was really concerned she’d be a full on hermie but this didn’t happen and it seems it was just localized pollination. Probably due to an occasional, randy bumblebee that had come from elsewhere. It’s not all bad at all and we did pull a few seeds off of her that we’ll give a shot to in the future I think👍. Final yield - 7.18oz. I’m never going to complain about a quarter pound off a plant that needed almost no maintenance whatsoever👍. 3 palm tree emojis for not going full hermie and putting out enough of this magically intense bud to share with friends and family👍 Props As always, big shout-out thank you to GD for making this site accessible to us. Ok folks, gunna be one armed for another 6 weeks so I'm just the conductor the true heroes will go unseen. Everything is alive atleast, had a scare yesterday as things got so dried out everything went limp but an hour after feed turned back around. Noticed some yellowing and other coloring coming thru on alot of leaves so I bumped ppm up a little bit this last feed. They dont look like they have a deficiency, it's weird, they look beautiful but with a premature fade almost. I really like Green Buzz' line up/regiment I just have to dial it in which isnt easy since it's a multi strain crop and various size plants. It's very easy to use and makes me feel good knowing it's not poison. Did a minor leaf strip around the tent just to make things fit better. I'll copy and paste this to the diaries for the rest of the crop per usual but go into a little more detail on each plant individually. Pics and vids were taken on day 28 of flower. I'm trying to keep up with these as best I can from start to finish, the flip date was 6.10.19, today is 7.9.19. The first one is pretty amazing, its showing pinkish red pistils early and just has a unique structure. I posted a shot on IG and someone pointed out what looked to be a sac in the middle of a flower. I double checked tonight and couldn't find any signs of germs but will pay attention over the next week just to be safe. It would be a shame if this doesnt get to finish out, thankfully I kept a cut of her. Runtus Cuntus in the corner been pissin me off since day one and still being a dick. Just growing so slowly and ugly I want to take her out behind the woodshed but dont have the heart.
