Organic Cookies Original sensible Seeds Girl scout cookies 8 weeks of flowering completed 29th March 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are all well and staying safe during these strange times we are all facing at the moment. This Girl scout cookies plant is getting closer everyday but so is the risk of mold . Ive already needed to chop out a few pieces of flower that were starting to turn moldy so it's been a very stressful and watchful week for me. Ideally I'd like to let this plant go atleast another week or even two but with the weather the way it is and the forecast for is yet to come suggests i will need to harvest well before then if I'm to get uneffected buds that can be safely smoked. I havent been game to even water her for the last 3 days due to the very high humidity but luckily she is showing no sighns of being thirsty or needing any food. Time to move her, her roots are three inches beyond the garden bag and her veg growth has kicked in. Roots are very white, very strong and very long. Transplanted into 5 gallons of prepared/buffered/triple washed coco and 40% perlite. First week of plain water but the fading occurred much sooner than that. The chop is set on the 15th of September so very close! Almost all of the trichomes have turned to milky. I plucked a couple more seeds to see the stage and they're pretty much all ready. I decided to separate them in different bags depending on what plant they grew on. I believe the ones that only had the hermie's genetic should logically be worst than the others so it's better to keep them seperate. We'll see each other again on the 15th :) ____________________________________________________________________________ Edit: I realized that I miscalculated a lot of things and that my diary is not as accurate as I wanted it to be. The correct chop date would be the 12th of September. The trichomes that are still clear still have a bit of time to turn white. I switch to 48hrs of darkness on the 10th.

First day of week 4, the plants are grown big enough to top but they didn't develope enough side branches to start mainlining. I hope I can use this technique as soon as the plants recover from the topping. On day 4 just the first of the three shows sign of complete recover while the side branches still don't want to grow up. I fed the plants with a tea full of microbes and good organic stuff. End of week 4, the only thing needed for the lower branches to catch up was increase the height of the lamp. Now they are really happy looking forward to the second and last month of veg

Monday Gave her some enzyme, I think it's supposed to help the plant break down nutrients so we'll see. I'm exactly 70 days from seed, 63 days since I transplant it to the 10 gallon pot, it should be a 10 week auto flower so I'm hoping I'm close to harvest. The flowers are really starting to turn purple now, I suspect its a sign that it's finishing, looks really cool close up! Tuesday No work done today, dry day. I think the buds are ripening, that purple is really starting to come out right across the canopy, can wait to see what it's like right before cutting 😀 Wednesday Gave her 5l of water with 5ml of plagron pure enzyme, I'm checking the trichromes under a glass every day now to try catch the right time to harvest, the buds are so frosty, still clear trics I thunk. Thursday Dry day today, its very nearly finished, trics are stating to turn Amber, I reckon I will give it a week more, maybe less and then I'm cutting! Friday Just clean water today, nearly at the point of cutting! Saturday No work done today, tomorrow is the last watering, its going into 2 days of darkness and then I'm cutting, so much work now so close! Sunday OK, so I think I've given it the last watering, I've just turned off the light and I'm going to leave it in complete darkness for 48hrs, then it's cutting time! 😀 I'm going to hang the plant whole, I'm only going remove some of the bigger fan leaves then dry trim, I've read that it's better that way, we'll see

Day 50. They are flowering !!! Plant A is taller and starting to run !!! Drop her down a bit and raised plant B to keep even canopy. Yesterday they got nute blast, close to 850 ppm. Planing plain water and one more heavy feed this week. Trimmed bottoms a bit, few sucker branches and few leaves gone. Happy Growing !!!

Back again for another update from down under. Well Its been a week of unusual weather here-actually most of Australia is having bizarre weather ATM with flooding rains mixed in with high 30's heat and damaging winds. This is in part why I now grow more smaller and better trained plants rather than a couple of larger tree's. One bad storm can literally snap a tree in half so unless your ladies are protected from the wind you WILL have issues outside. Train them, keep them low to the ground and stake them just to be safe ok. Mine are just greening up and bushing out nicely this week, not much more to report other than wondering how much longer before they show me those lil white hairs-cmon ladies its nearly feb and your not flowering yet? Any day now im sure. Hash plant is growing a 1-2cms a day easily, ZkittleZ is bulking up now while Caramelo just seems to be growing more and more shoots-Not used to sativias grown like this-do I cut some off to improve quality or leave em alone to improve quantity? I cant even count how many heads there are now. But the big news is my lemon haze variegated X sour Diesel hybrid seems to be staying female so far- no leaf color at all but the first 3rd gen hybrid that doesnt look like either parents but more of a middle ground of the two, its stayed female so far!! Normally only the ones that looked really sour D like stayed female but this one has a lighter leaf color than normal Sour Ds, but also more the leaf shape of the lemon haze side. Please stay female lil miss. See ya all next week.

She was looking sad and droopy before transplant (probably overwatering) but after about 10 days in her new home she’s looking much happier. Getting good growth.
