Flowers are growing larger with more resin. I am thinking I use CNS17 Ripe next time around instead of bloom. I will lower PH a bit tonight. It is 6.8 with an EC of 1.7.

D64/F20 - 03/06/23 - The situation is under control now. I'm going to change water asap (maybe tonight) D65/F21 - 04/06/23 - 👉 Water changed, some hours without nutes... D66/F22 - 05/06/23 - EC 0.8 ph 7.0 D67/F23 - 06/06/23 - EC 0.8 ph 7.3 - added pH- D68/F24 - 07/06/23 - Added water and nutes EC 0.9 and pH 6.3 D69/F25 - 08/06/23 - EC 0.9 and pH 6.3 D70/F26 - 09/06/23 - Added water and Calmag, Connoisseur Bloom A-B. I'm a little late with update, I was very busy. In grow room it is all under control. the buds are filling up. Strech has stoped. Here is 17 days since flowering. Smeel is pretty strong, i just need to set up carbon filter. Next update will be in a fev days. ✌️🤘💚💜

DAY 14 VEG. Hi growmies. I hope the green gods have been present in your grows this week. It has been a fairly good week for some of the girls this week but the tiny little Mexican airline had me convinced it would give in. Thankfully she hasn't and has now started to really begin growing with some healthy looking new growth pushing through in the last few days. Similar with the Strawberry Pie #2 and her toxic shocked look , she has got over the soils strength ow j think and begun to form normal leaves without the twist and darker colour ( clear sign of not liking something!) All of the plants have settled in fully now and the soil has started to work its magic hopefully. Trying to get the water cycle on point is the next task with it. I have been using 10L watering sessions to get it moist and will use a cheap soil probe to check the bottom for waterlogging . Next watering I will add the biosys tea again to support the soil life. The amendments should have all broken down nicely now so it is just watering from here in in hopefully. With ising 1 bed for 3 plants , I will be watching for the leaf green shade lightening , especially in flowering , and if needed use Megacrop as an additional feed. At this point it looks like the Strawberry Pie #1 and six Shooter #2 are leading the field but I get the feeling this light will help even that race quick sharp. I have now put it to 100% power as I do think these ladies will go for it this week now. No decision on the training yet but in will let their growth guide that one . TIP SPREADING I am using a method I learnt about a while back called tip spreading. It is a very simple process but can be very helpful if trying to control height in minutes spaces. It can also help to lessen the gap lengths between nodes on leggy strains. It is by no means a guarantee that the tall sativas will become bonsai bushes by a long shot but it does help to shorten the gaps there too. It is done while the plants are in veg and as each new pair of leaves form on the grow tips , we gently open them out so that the new emerging below gets light to it . This will encourage it to grow out quicker than waiting until the previous node has gone through the slower process of opening naturally. We are essentially rushing their growth for them. They are very delicate at this stage so it is a gentle process that must be done with a lot of caution and a slow pace. Hopefully the video will help and the effects will be shown during the growth over the next few days/weeks. Be safe growmies.

coming along nicely, this one did not like the low temps. I found 1 bud with some rot on it, cut that out. NO PWM thanks to the foliar sprays of Si. Buds did not grow much from last week to this one due to cold temps. This is an indoor strain here or its going to need to be crossed with something that likes the cooler fall temps.

Topping appears to be working well. Began some LST via tie down to encourage growth to other branches.

Week 26 11.10.2024

Day 46, plants are slowing down. They'll be one more push, but this will not be like the last week and a half so itsbtime to slow things down. I see some signs that i need to reduce the nutrients. Signs being slight tip burn on a very few the fans with a hook upwards indicating transpiration doesn't balance with light intensity, more noticeable and trustworthy signs are the darker shiney/waxy leaves inside the canopy. I'm not sure if my video uploaded or its quality while I write this, so I will comment on that later. Being only 3 weeks until harvest I've also cut the CO2. If looking close, the upper buds are starting to throw new pistils and elongate indicating that the co2 and heat may cause foxtailing if I push any further. I've reduced co2 from 850 to 650 and light from 1000ppfd, to 850ppfd and then this morning to 700ppfd. End of next week I will reduce even further to around 550ppfd before the last week at 400ppfd during the flush. All this lowers the temperature and slows transpiration. I've reduced the EC from 2 to 1.7EC and turned on my mister as well to maintain humidity to 55% . One less variable to worry about..humidity was fluctuating 47-53% last week. Higher humidity also slowing transpiration of water and nutrients. Hoping these changes have set the girls up to only get just the right amount to finish pretty.. Next week, tomorrow the nutrient mix will have full tilt instead of the bulkyB.

This week I will be increasing nutrients, continue with leaves tucking and perhaps will install scrog net by the end of the week. Wishing you all a wonderful week ✨🍀✨ 06/11 day 29 Watered 500ml each pot and sprayed with water and fish mix solution. 08/11 day 31 Girls started growing faster. Good few cm in to all of the directions in one night. Watered again with 500ml each pot as belive that they need just a bit more time for the first runoff experience. 11/11 day 34 It was a Spa day for the 🍌💜👊 girls. Full package; 1st - removed 7-10 fan leaves from each girl. 2nd - LST on few longer branches 3rd - shower with fish mix and water solution. 4rd - Watering 500ml for Athena and approx 300ml for Xena. 12/11 What a great and a bit busy week with my girls. Perfect response on yesterday selective defoliation and stretching. No signs of any stress. I use advanced nutrients in flowering cycle

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. This particular strain, as well as my RQS Fat bananas, have been an absolute dream to grow. They take training like they're craving it. 😍 Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 😃💚✌️🍃😊

I don't think I'm going to grow autoflowers for a while. I think I have much more control over photos and they are much more potent.

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. A Excited Welcome 🏆 I have just added this extra week in my diary as I have so many great photos of my beautiful Watermelon Auto girl from RQS which I must recommend growing as she is a stunner with large buds that smell delicious.😊 This girl is now defently finished and I'm getting ready to chop her down she has gone past and I would recommend giving her a good 10-12 weeks as it's not until late that all her colours and smell comes out. I'm now not watering her for a couple of days then into the dark for another couple of days fortunately she hasn't many leaves to trim she's all bud. I'm sad she's done but excited to smoke. Es gibt nichts außergewöhnliches zu berichten! Man merkt das es langsam Richtung Harvest Day geht , da einige Blätter hell grün werden..... da es nur noch 2-2,5 Wochen sind, werde ich nichts dagegen unternehmen, da dies relativ normal ist. Tricome noch durchsichtig, vereinzelt 10% trüb. Düngemenge ist auf max. Menge nach Düngeplan eingestellt . Pflanzen entwickeln sich perfekt, man kann jetzt schön beobachten wie sich die Buds langsam verfärben. Schwankung pH Wert in dieser Woche = 5,7-5,85.... ec erhöht auf max nach düngeplan Hesi jedoch mit Regenwasser 1,35..... Temperaturen zwischen 18 und 24,5... Geruch sehr stark.

Ho montato una growbox 100×100×200 cm per consentire una migliore areazione e crescita, le piante sentono lo spazio disponibile attorno a sé, quindi questo era il momento giusto, ora si viaggia con una mars hydro fc3000 con dimmer al 45 % a 50 cm, un ottimale 350 ppfd , ppfd aumenteranno a 550 gradualmente in 15/20 giorni, aggiunto il supplento di spettro blu di marshydro, non sembra male per ora stann benissimo😇
