Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I found this strain very easy to grow and responded very well given the hot/humid weather we have here on the island. This strain held up very well to pest and mold/mildew

Pfff, explicaros que estas green ak xL son una variedad bastante difícil de cultivar, los cambios ambientales le sientan fatal, y hay que tener cuidado con la alimentación ya que se Sobrefertiliza fácilmente así que ojo, eso por un lado. Por otro si eres un cultivador con varios años de experiencia y todo te sale bien, es probarla, porque el sabor de esta cepa compensa la dificultad de su cultivo. Thc hasta 18% , sativa predominante. She's over doubled her height this week!!!!!!!!!! Looks like she's going great! An educated guess says she is just about to enter flowering in the coming week.

Today March 10th is day 50! I spend a few hours of work every other day to tie branches and manipulate leaves -white pistols are showing -will secure netting and stop using pipe cleaners to tie down at the end of the week -I have been using nutrients about every other watering -1.5 tsp micro .5tsp grow 1.5 tsp bloom in about 2 Litres of water After 2 weeks. Royal Gorilla is the fastest blooming followed by the Green Gelato. The LSD is slower. The HulkBerry I started 4 days later is blooming ok

Finally into the last week of flower. It's been a long road, but the end is near and I couldn't be more excited. She has definitely bulked up over the last couple of weeks. The trichomes are milky with a few Amber's showing. I am busy flushing. I'm going to put her into 48 hours of darkness before I chop. Wish me luck.

Pretty heavy yield for only 2 plants they smell and look astounding. Harvested in 2 parts. To allow the lower buds to densen and mature.

This week is about bud growth... Nitrogen has stop being used... Just removing dead fan leaves and letting the plant do its thing

I am giving her an extra week 15 hours total light (decreased by 4h) Getting longer and bigger the new stems from node. If keep growing I will give them another extra week of Veg. Weather changing and now sunlight is less intense.

Nice harvest. big dense , aromatic buds..super easy to grow. Will grow again.

So we are still recovering from light stress. The stress is leaving as shown in the new growth on the top. Some might say this is nitrogen burn.but it cannot be as it's organic, micro dosed alaska fish emulsion. This is my first rodeo as I've been gardening for 20 years now. The only thing new to me is the LED lights. Hopefully those two phenos turn out to be male. Because I just don't see them being very vigorous for the duration of the grow.

Week 8 Into the 9th week now, getting real close. The final feed until flush. It has gotten a little cooler however, temps are still in the high 20's and humidity is 70ish. The Pineapples are shapping up very nicely. I walk up to the solarium and i'm hit by a wall of stinkin bud, it's delicious 😋 These aphids are very persistent however, i'm keeping them down to a minimum and with the time left i'm not concerned. PE1 should be ready on time however, PE2 isn't maturing as quickly and may need a little more but, even though she doesn't have quite the height as her sibling she's getting chubby. The lemonade is a chunky little thing, she looks very dense. I now get a hint of homemade lemonade in there as she's maturing which is very cool. Pistils are browning quite quickly... steady now, mustn't get too excited 😁
