Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

The new growth is coming in a little limey, we insist on reusing Promix so PH is always a bit of a rollercoaster lol.. no sweat, usually a gallon each PH'd to 5.5 with 5ml/gal N solution will get them back to baseline..we seem to have the same issue with most plants grown in our basement during summer, I'm sure the super high humidity and low evaporation rate has something to do with it... if they don't come around after the adjustment, they'll spend some time under the HIDs, this always straightens them out..we topped the mainline for the last time today for 8 mains per side, as well as another full round of toppings on the x2 LST plants... thanks for reading if you made it this far and happy growing everyone!!! ❤️🐱💡🌱 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/22/21 🐱 Quick update, the mainlined plant is showing signs of calcium deficiency which is odd, with our routine we almost never have Calcium or magnesium issues..its really only noticeable under the florescent lights on this one but we'll have to make changes.. they all have plenty of calcium in their media so I'm wondering if the PH has gone screwy in that pot.. we reuse promix which gets really acidic sometimes and we add lime to buffer this but we guess a lot and may not have used enough (or waited long enough)..I know when our media gets around 5-5.5 calcium deficiency is a huge issue..ill add a little more calcium to be sure and will try using water PH'd higher (6.5-7) and see if this helps anything. Some nice explosive growth this week, looks like it’s steady stretching towards the light every day, hoping the buds start to fill out mid next week. Started giving Crystal Burst in conjunction with fish shit. After 7 days the plant seems to be reacting fine to the crystal burst. Some yellowing on one leaf at the bottom, not to sure what that’s about, will look into it more. Overall things are coming along nicely.

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and grow room details, please see Week 1 of Veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Topped at the end of Day 9. Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

Resining like never this one is super cold the buds They are very compact and already heavy I will keep nutrients more on a smaller scale, I removed some fans for fresh air and more light in the cup, very happy with this girl

This week went well. No issues and the Snak plant grew 2 inches this week. She looks healthy and strong. I will be doing a little more research on topping this strain. I have never grown anything from Mosca Seeds. I don't know this strain well so I want to know if it will be tall and thing or short and bushy or something in-between before I decide if I should top her o not.

6/4/22 - 6/10/22 6/5/22 Today I tied Harlingen branches to the sides of the tote with pipe cleaners to open herup eve more andI carefully places lst clips to arrange her smaller branches outward.Excitedto seewhat growth week 8 will bring 😀 6/7/22 Zam got lst a few days ago and has really stretched the past few days. I'd say she is ready to kick her room mates to the curve. This girl is getting biiiiig. 6/8/22 Today my girl is really getting her stretch on ad lovinglife. Her root issues have completely resolved with her peroxide routine. (I cup in the tote Daily and spray roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide to control root rot and fungus gnats. 6/9/22 Not alot of change today. But man is she a doll 😍 6/10/22 Can't wait to see what week 8 grow will be like🤗

this week you get shit pictures cause never any sun here. plants are doing well, as soon as i flipped the pineapple had white hairs very next day. the shiskaberry still has no white hairs but is stretching and catching up to the pineapple. its only been a week since my mass defoliation and it looks like i didnt even trim anything( will have to re-trim week 3 of flower) i also bought an ac infinity exhaust fan for better circulation,and i will be buying a dehumidifier this week. i might start a scrog today ,its kind of late but if anything it will be support for the buds.
