Day 111, 9 weeks flowering is passed. Currently a nice fade going on. Pistils and trichomes are not really close to ripe, but I'm gonna cut her within the next week anyway because I need the tent. Lighting hasn't been perfect, since this girl stretched like a weed, while my Harlequin didn't. Gonna be smarter on the next try :) nevertheless, she oozes of brilliant smell and taste.

The girls are thirsty this week even if the climate hasn't change that much. 13L/Day is the same amount of water needed during the stretch phase. Nice colorations has started to shows up on phenos 3 and 5. To be continued... 😎

It was a long grow, or at least it seemed like it, everything was looking so good so I was ready to harvest at week 9 but these bugs took a long time to mature.

Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

My medium starts to gather salt because of too much nutrients and it affects the plant, i washed it the last two waterings and I hope it’ll get better :)

Our Blue Dream by Zamnesia is the only classic strain we are growing at the moment and, since your friend breadandbuds loves the golden one, I couldn't help but try to get the best out of it. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find the plant left to grow straight without the aid of techniques, just a little bit of insignificant LST on the lower branches that I then often decide to cut if I see them too low and weak. When you do this type of cultivation you have to consider that the good flowers will only be those that see a sufficient amount of light. So you have to clean up at the bottom and leave only the last 15-20 cm of each brunch then you also adjust according to the internodal distance. I love to clean up a lot at this stage to make the plant concentrate on the production of good flowers in the apical parts. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Zdravím všechny✋ týden utekl jak voda a já dneškem startuju zřejmě poslední týden, ještě uvidím, ale při šmejdění s lupičkou jsem zjistil, že trichomy jsou všechny nalitý mlíkem, ale amber jsem tam ještě neviděl ani jeden Major krásně voní a po otevření stanu, hezky praští přes rypák. Dnes už dostal jen do zálivky A+B základ 1ml/L 2ml/L Overdrive zálivka šla zpět na 7L přiobjednal jsem od Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish s kterým to ještě proženu před sklizní, nikdy jsem Flush nedělal tak snad to trošku pomůže k chuti. I skipped a week as I was away from my plants, had to plant 2 of them into bigger pots when I got back. Growing so fast right now, only the one plant that's a bit behind in growing. Might be the night time temperatures or maybe not enough nitrogen. Not too sure. Leaving them on the same nutrient schedule until I flip the lights.

Die Autopots sind im Einsatz, nach anfänglichem zögern wegen dem ph-Wert. Der sich durchgehend verändert hat, von 5,6 bis zu 6,8. Habe ich mich dann erstmal durch etliche Foren gelesen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit das Wasser zu demineralisieren. Allerdings halte ich das für sinnlos, da die Minerale ja durch den Dünger wieder zugegeben werden. Bisher haben sich diese ph-Wert Schwankungen nicht bei den Pflanzen bemerkbar gemacht. Eher im Gegenteil, das Wachstum ist beachtlich. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich das Wasser im Reservoir ausgetauscht. Noch einmal ein paar Blätter rausgeschnitten und angefangen die Triebe mit den Hanfseilen herunter zu binden. Bei der einen Pflanze ist aus dem topping eher ein Fimming geworden, finde ich jetzt nicht weiter schlimm aber seht selbst. 😉 Grow on!
