Hi everyone ! Theses babies are groing well. roots progression is very fast. i add a small peace of spreader mat today i water them yesterday, with a 0.8 EC solution ( 4 drop A & B and 2 drop Roots excelurator for 1L )

Comment dire que je suis content que cette white widow soit enfin fini, les semaines me paraissait longue. Mais quand je vois le résultat obtenu aujourd'hui , l'odeur dégager par la plante et merveilleux. J'attend avec impatience je pouvoir la fumer après 1 bon mois de curing après le séchage 😘👍

Can't believe we're at the start week 5 already. This is such a beautiful process. Things are looking good - I started defoliation on all the ants this week. I figure, the little one isn't getting much bigger, the big one is so bushy the light is having trouble getting thru even with LST, and the bag seed seems to be a photoperiod plant so I have all the veg time I need to recover on that one. Update: The bigger girl started flowering on day 32! Let me know what y'all think!

D8 Top right plant is getting some heat stress from the heat lamp. Will try not using the heat and see how low temps get at lights out. Watering once a day. Still haven’t set up my irrigation. PPFD 400. VPD could be better. D9 Lights off temp got down to 66. Plants seem happy still. D10 turned heat lamp back on and adjusted heat temp. Getting really cold. D11 Watering once a day by hand. Still waiting on Athena nutrients before I set up hydro halos. Increased PPFD to 500. D12 pistils starting to show. D13 EC 1.8 PH 5.8 D14 I can’t believe how much these plants have grown since the last defoliation. Tent is getting crowded. Thought about getting rid of the plant with the twisted stem. Simply put I am so very pleased with the way this plant has performed my only worry is how to properly dry and cure this magnificent specimen

Topped her on day 11 and upped the maxigro a little. She is making steady progress. I expect her to take off in the next few days. Will start some training before the end of week 3. Just another boring plant at this point but stick around for a while and I bet that will change....

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. they have had 4 days of extended darkness, i left the nutrient info there but i did flush for a week and a couple days extra (many experts say you only need to flush for a week but i like to do a week plus another 2-3 days just to make sure it's well flushed) if it doesn't display there is a video if you open the last picture and click the right side arrow button on it (next picture button) or i think you can click the little play button icon where it should display, they usually don't display properly for me on the page (also video upload is extremely slow i will add)

The 5L pot did wonders! My goal is to fill this entire 3x3 tent. I found myself having humidity and heat issues. To remedy this I purchased a new Vivosun cool mist humidifier and placed my warm air humidifier outside of my tent near the passive intake. Works wonders! Ventilation: 2 X 4” clip fans 4 inch, cheap, in-line fan and carbon filter (I will pay for this later. Just buy the 6 inch MINIMUM! CHEAPER IS NOT BETTER!) Growing about an inch per night!
