I wish the almost 5 days timelapse video can cover the lack of images for the next week. At time, among the 4 plants you can see on group photos, there is one of the 2 gorillas that stands out from the others. The other one is not growing as fast and strong as this one, and also is growing with discoloration areas in the leafs (it will be much more visible next week). I will perform the first Topping/Man Linning/LST on the plant that stands out the next week, and probably will leave the second Gorilla untouched to perform tests and comparsions. Also, among the 2 genetics, the Gorillas are growing much more robust and fast than the Money Makers are. LST STRUCTURE: To prevent breaking or making holes in the pot i designed this LST structure in blender and printed in 3D. They fit perfectly in the 8l RootPoch pots, so at time i didn't fixed them to the pots. Por como va creciendo la Gorila que destaca, esta es a la primera a la que le realizaré el Man Lining y LST, y probablemente deje a la segunda gorila sin hacérselo para ir haciendo pruebas y ver diferencias. Así mismo, de entre las 2 genéticas diferentes, sin duda las gorilas crecen con más robustez y velocidad que las Money Maker ESTRUCTURA LST: Para no agujerear los tiestos he diseñado esta estructura para LST con blender y la he impreso en 3D. - Not much to report this week. Shes still stretching like crazy. - Lowered the pot down in the bucket a few Centimetres because she reached the top of the led strips already. Now shes reached them again, hopefully she doesn't stretch much more because i'm quickly running out of space. In the worst case scenario, ill have to move her outside. - Finally some pre-buds started forming towards the end of this week. - Its drinking a lot as well, giving her a good soaking of about 2 litres every 2-3 days.

[DAY 43] - 13/07/2022 - Temp. 29° / RH: 50/60%; - EC 1.3; PH 6.3 - In the next few days: a) I will gradually raise the EC up to 1.5, first with a large addition of CaMg+ (up to 3/4 ml/L), then moving on to the full pre-flowering feed; b) I try to keep PH at 6.0 to improve the absorption of cal-mag; - Lamp: 80% (120 watt) - 50 cm away from the center of the net - 18/6 cycle; - Many leaves seems to be too green, almost dark green, we'll see next days how plant grows and fix if needed; - I widened the canopy a bit outwards through the scrog net, I hope it will help the light penetrate better in the center; - I also removed a single leaf that was very large and which from day one was blocking all the light in the center of the net. I was certainly wrong not to remove it before, which is a lesson to me for the next runs. [DAY 46] - 16/07/2022 - 29° C - 65% RH (wet day); - PH 6.2 - EC 1.5 ; - Since yesterday almost all the new leaves are growing showing signs of some problem (look pictures). Some deficiency? Excess of nutrients? Other? I ask with a growquestion and hope to understand more about it. Fingers crossed 😐 - Thanks to the advice of @Chow_13 and @SwissKush I realized that the leaves were signaling me to start flowering nutrition right away, the plant is starting to require more P and K. I just replaced the solution in the DWC with 8 liters of bloom nutrient. In the evening I upload some pics to show how plant reacts. [DAY 47] - 17/07/2022 - 29° C - 65% RH (wet day); - PH 6.2 - EC 1.6; - I just regenerated the CO2 tanks and I decided to put them outside the box because they are too bulky (the tube through which the CO2 passes is inside the grow box). [DAY 48] - 18/07/2022 - 29° C - 65% RH (wet day); - PH 6.1 - EC 1.7; - TS1000 40 cm away - 80% (120 watt); - New leaves are growing well. - Removed the branch tie; - Found an ant on the log, but how the hell did you get in? [DAY 49] - 19/07/2022 - 29° C - 60% RH ; - PH 6.0 - EC 1.74; - TS1000 40 cm away - 80% (120 watt); - Plant is drinking about 1.5 liters of solution per day. I'm trying to keep the PH below 6.1, at the moment it is 6 and tomorrow I try to lower it to 5.9 / 5.8; I highlight how the solution inserted on 16/07/2022 had EC 1.6 and today the EC is 1.74, it has slowly risen over the last few days. For the moment nothing alarming, I see how it proceeds and if so I intervene; - Removed the 2-3 liters still in the DWC and inserted 8 liters of new solution: EC 1.37 - PH 5.9. The plant was not drinking well, the EC was continuing to rise and tomorrow I start the new week, so I anticipated the replacement of the solution. EC 1.6 was too much? Or the plant was not yet ready for a full flower blend? I don't know, let's see how it goes with the new solution.

2018-07-17 Start of week 16 of veg. The girls is doing awesome and growing like crazy. I have topped them hard from the beginning and i will do a final topping this week. I will start flower as soon as i get my 4 x HLG 260W QUANTUM BOARD KIT V.2 that i have ordered.

Some issues with soil being too wet. But we have hit preflower on Christmas.

@18/06 Trying to get under control the raising EC. Tomorrow I will made the res change for the final stage. EC: 1.7 PH: 6.1 @19/06 New res: 11L with 3ml/L of Flash Clean (a.k.a. Flora Kleen) Putting the plant in the new res I saw some little bugs in the container. Hope this is not a problem. I'm going to make the flush until 7-10 days for final ripening. Tomorrow I will add to the res about 2ml/L of Ripen until the end. It has been another amazing week of the plants growing. I have been watching as the Fruity Freak leaves become progressively more fern-like, and ornamental as a result! Based on my Banizzle grows, I knew I needed to understand plant nutrients in a more meaningful way if I wanted these plants to thrive. So, I decided to get a soil test (see Ref. 1 below on how to perform a test) to understand what nutrients my plants needed. The report I received advised that I needed to add 200 lbs/acre of nitrogen, 150 lbs/acre of phosphorus, and 190 lbs/acre of potassium (see picture labeled Pic.1 (FYI you can't see these images unless you login to growdiaries)). I then researched what to do with my results (Ref. 2 helped), and I figured out that my nutrient needs of 200-150-190 fall close to a 2-1-2 ratio. I then looked at different types of organic fertilizers (see Ref. 3 and Ref. 4) and considered that I already had a 3-10-5 fertilizer (Vermibloom) on hand. I discovered Dr Earth’s Alfalfa Meal is 2-1-2 and includes beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae (to promote healthy plant growth and disease resistance). However, I knew I would be low on nitrogen if I only used those two fertilizers. Therefore, I decided to buy some blood meal (12-0-0). I also liked that blood meal is more fast acting while the other two are more moderate. I hunted around for a solid fertilizer calculator and found an amazing tool from the University of Georgia Extension (Ref. 5). I entered all three fertilizers into the calculator, and it kicked out the exact amount of each fertilizer I needed to apply to 1 square foot (see Pic. 2). As I am using 10-gallon fabric pots (that can hold 1.5 cubic feet, but I put stone on the bottom and there’s space left at the top) I decided to use the one square foot application rate as I can always add more later, but I can’t take it away. Not only did I want to understand the nutrients I needed, but I also wanted to understand the structure of the soil (as it was not included in my test results). North Dakota State University has a nice page that discusses this (Ref. 6), and I performed a soil ribbon test (see Video 1) based on this information. I determined my soil to be medium textured (which is great), but I have seen occasional water pooling on the surface, suggesting that it may be more of a medium-fine. This means adding peat moss, coco coir, or other amendments might improve drainage (and plant hydration) and allow for roots to grow more easily. In the long run, I plan to use compost to enhance the soil structure and nutrients. I filled the bottom of my 10-gallon fabric pots with a ½” of pea stone to allow for drainage (Pic. 3). I then partially filled two 5-gallon buckets with topsoil from near where I will plant (but not in an area the roots will reach). I used a digital scale to measure the amount of fertilizers recommended by the calculator (Pic. 4, 5, and 6) and added it to one of the 5-gallon buckets (see Pic. 7). I mixed the fertilizers into the soil as evenly as possible (Pic. 8 and 9). I then poured a two-inch layer of non-fertilized soil, then peat moss, and then fertilized soil (in a roughly 2:1:1 ratio) and blended them together. I repeated this until the pot was full (getting additional soil as needed), and then I repeated the process for the other three pots. I set the filled fabric pots in my garage (Pic. 10) for two days to allow any upset bugs to flee into my garage instead of my house. I then moved the pots (wrapping them in a contractor garbage bag to prevent making a mess) into the room with the grow light. I placed a board on top of the fabric pots to insulate the plants (in their smaller pots) from the cold soil (Pic. 11). Once the soil in the fabric pots reaches room temperature, I will transplant. (Ref. 1) This video shows the method I used to take a soil sample. I didn’t have a field to test, so I took four samples from the area where I will eventually plant outdoors and blended them together. Day 7 today from sprout. They are doing great, but i have sometimes 29c in the tent and my humidy sometimes fall to right under 40% which i dont like, but the girls seems to like it. Also i lowered both lights 10 cm down.. The Led is about 70cm above, and the HPS 70cm. I may begin feeding them very soon with BioGrow and BioHeaven but only 1/4 of recommended dossage. In the night i now have around 60% humidity, and it also helped me get my core tempature down from 28-29c to around 26-27c because my lights wasnt on 24h anymore

Had to defoliate the big fan leaves so far so good don’t really mess upcwith them this time and looking nice and heal

Hifi 4G seems to be a bit sensitive to the current and previous feeding levels. Had multiple leaves exhibit nutrient burn. Otherwise all seem to be happy. Hifi 4G, NL/Skunk and Blueberry continue to lead the pack on Bud development. God I hope I don't screw this up!
