Leaves are fading, buds looking fat. Just plain water and occasional ice. I will never be a doctor, haha. Checking for tric color is a HASSLE. On the positive side I found some areas with lots of amber trics and others with only a few. The last week of Flower is official over I put the plants in darkness then time for chop. Week 2 in the books. I trimmed more lowers to help shape the tops the way I like. Swapped ratios from veg to flower to start the flowering process. One more week until autopilot.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Here we are, 42 days from seed, and all the plants are fully flowering now. I had to proceed to a strategic defoliation once again because the room is slightly overcrowded, removing a few fan leaves will help getting more air and less humidity at the plant's feet. A few thrips managed to get into the growroom, probably because of other plants that were laying around, so I've added a few ladybugs in the room, they should do the job and eat most of the thrips before they become a real issue, they will prevent a massive colony from appearing. No more Nitrogen from now on (OrganicGrow) because the stretch is over, and I started to add some 'Organic More PK' into my soup. Thanks for stopping-by! 😎

Stable week just started 12/12, wish me luch for the first ever indoor grow!

Our White Truffle by Zamnesia is a very interesting plant, it has slightly irregular internodes, at least this one I got, there is a bit of a need to invent a different main lining than usual, but both Zamnesia and I love to take a gamble and we are sure to bring home a good result. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and one left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed, in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same strain. In this diary we find the plant worked with Main Lining. We topped the second internode and maybe it was a bit too early, or we simply found a plant with slightly irregular internodes and now we are developing according to irregular brunches, I cut some off, I top some and send it to flower shortly. Slow down with nitrogen while doing this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers, so if the leaves become too dark or worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy" we are at the moment to lighten or stop the basic grow fertilizer. . Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently, go and see it to compare them. Welcome to Garden of Green Cup 🏆 Flowering day 75 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. 110 días en total con 50 días de vegetación y 60 días de floración termina este hermoso y oloroso cultivo!! Contento con la experiencia, sin duda estas plantas mostraron el linaje de sus padres, creo que con menos tiempo de vegetación me hubiese ido mucho mejor, pero feliz ya que estas plantas mostraron un engorde 100% de sus cálices hasta los más bajos y eso me encanta. He terminado esta semana a pura agüita y como se puede ver en la decoloración de las hojas el flawles finish y el lavado de raices ayudaron a que las plantas coman sus reservas, las hojas muestran quemaduras en los bordes por que las mantuve a alta temperatura con la iluminación a tope las últimas 3 semanas. Al fin he terminado y me encantó el resultado Ahora a cosechar!!

Esta semana fue divertida, tocó hacer el topping y el LST. Con respecto al primero, creo que podría haber esperado más tiempo ya que las ramas laterales del tercer nudo estaban muy chicas, pero estoy buscando estresar lo menos posible a la planta así que decidí hacerlo el día 40. Espere dos días a que la plante se recupere y las ramas comiencen a crecer e hice el LST. Hice un vídeo del topping + LST. Con respecto a los inputs, los primeros días de esta semana llovió mucho y las plantas se encuentran bajo un techo mínimo por lo que algo de agua las regó. El día del topping regué con FPJ y el día del LST regué con Compost tea + Melaza orgánica. Esto ha sido todo por ahora... Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida! Buenos cultivos!😃

Hey everyone, just harvested at day 60 of flower and I’m really happy with how things turned out. Uploaded some harvest shots along with exact day tags. The colors and overall development finished nicely! After the chop, I went through a full clean-up with isopropyl alcohol. The root aphid situation should be fully under Control now. I have got some clones ready in a separate space, and I’ll be restarting soon. I will give an update on harvest results in the next few weeks, but for now - the terps dont lie! Very nice fruity and floral smell with a little candygas in it too. Happy growing ✌️

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. I loved growing this plant. I have learnt so many new things. This is the first time I topped, defoliated, attempted to mainline, and everything seems to have worked out pretty well. I have made some mistakes here and there, but that's part of the learning process and lead to a pretty interesting grow :).

Missed last week update but did some cutting girls have to live up to the mission 73 between the 5 plant....added one more which was a cutting from a seed plant harvested previous...didn't look like I did anything so cut dem a few day later 85 between the same plants... only cut the lower half of G4 n smaller inside branches( going to stop they dont hold up well)
