Hello again and welcome to week 5, the beginning of true flower! Ahsoka (her star wars name) is doing awesome with LST. Last week we tied down her main cola but this week her branches were long enough to Tie most of them down to. I will leaf tuck everyday to keep light on the budsites. Ashoka has finally hardened off properly and I moved her to the big tent since she is also in flower. She is under The Optic 8+ we still haven't had to feed any nutrients yet 🤞 but are giving real growers recharge as a microbial. As you can see her roots have just exploded with growth. Hello everybody, the pictures show a split situation: the buds looks good but the rest of the plant scream to overfeeding. Infact at the third day of the week i find an extra water in the saucer so i control the EC and i see 3.5 mS/cm. This value is clearly too high and i try to recover the plants by watering everyday with 1 L demineralized water adjust with pH-down. I just hope to see a better situation in a week. 🙏

As you can see, the girls look awful different. Yeah the 4th plant, aka GDP4, aka Bea, continued to hermie... the boyfriend cut it down and discarded it while I was away (my dad passed (we weren't close)) and did a serious defoliation. If you read my first diary, I don't like the defoliation part so he usually does it lololol. The 3 remaining GDPs are starting to show their flower and they getting into the meat of stretching. I'm sad about Bea, more so about my dad lol, but I wanted to see how much we'd produce with 4 plants this time. It was my first time doing this many. Oh well... what's meant to be will be so 4 plants were not meant to be. Overall though, the girls look healthier than ever. I keep checking them for seeds as well but haven't found any... thanks goodness. 😣

From the 15th day I start adding half the norm of Hesi TNT Complex 2ml/L, we test with 210 ppm so as not to burn the roots. On the 18th day, I moved the plant into a larger pot and watered it with half the recommended amount of nutrients and of course, transplanted the plant into a larger pot. On the 21st day, I did LST (Low-Stress Training).

Getting frosty

Welcome to week 6 I started to see signs of nutrient deficiency during the course of week 5 and decided to correct this deficiency by trying to lower the nutrient level by all signs it appears to have worked. I was using the recommended level of nutrients on the bottle but after having conversations with fellow Growers I come to the conclusion that it was still too strong for my plants so I'm using half the dosage. Doing that has resulted in the plants growing very healthy no signs of deficiency in any of the leaves above the lower leaves so it appears that I've corrected the problem. That's my update for the week keep your stick on the ice PPM's are at 1125 but 376 PPM of that is just the water and in installing a water cleaning system to see if i can bring that down

Watered a gallon between the four of them this week (goal to maintain moisture in the beds.) found mycelium growing on top of the beds today, a great sign for soil health! The runt is still runty; if one of the seeds in the solo cups overtakes her in growth, I will probably cull the runt and replace her. Going to be topping in the next day or two, deciding if I am going to do a full “mainlining” run or just top them. TBD

Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Hi guys, So this week im expecting rapid growth on all the plants, my plant still has orange spots i call it plant aids 🤣. There on 18/6 light cycle. I will be doing some lst on them to try and fill my grow space out abit. I been soaking them and turning lights down for 2 hours then turning light back up for a few hours then soaking again so on so on. My misses plant is doing better than mine thats for sure tho. Purple Ryder is doing great. She is bulking and has a nice smell and frosty resin layer going. She is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2, in Agrogardens nutrition. I did a solution change on her 4 days ago. Minor ph fluctuations, but it is mostly stable at the moment. It's been a beautiful plant to grow, I thought she was gonna be a little bigger, however she has produced an amazing quality flowers, very sticky, terpy and stinky, the citric aroma it's absolutely wonderful just because of that I could grow her again and again. You definitely need to try this strain if you lovd weed.💚🌱🤤
