Repotting now moved in to the 4x8

19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.

She's bouncing back slowly. Hope she recovers by the end of this week. But the good thing is that she's still alive. Gave her a real feeding at day 10. We'll see how she reacts to this feeding. Last day of week 2. She's doing well. She bounced back from week one. Hopefully week 3 will be better 😊

Today is day 32 of bud for these ladies. They are are swelling up good and put on a lot of resin. I’m very excited for this harvest. That’s because these ladies each have there own person Tropic smell to them. The OG is kinda orange cream soda terps. The melato almost has a coconut terp profile to it. And the Trainwreck smells like some kind of wild berry. So I’m definitely glad I got clones form each of these so I can run them again next round. Except for the OG. I have them their last feeding in week 4 on around day 29. I just did a top dress of bio live and rose and flower by down to earth. Anyways thanks for checking out the garden. —SETUP— .BOSSLED LED 1800W full spectrum, real power consumption is +-250W. .Grow space 60X100X200(a simple shower box. .AN nutes and other simple additives. .Grow medium is 60% peat, 30% perlite, 10% organic correction(worm castings), 5 gallon fabric pots(18l). —BRIEF— Hi there, I have tried already done this genetic outdoors, in poor lighting and a general purpose nute from Neudorff, yielded 25g dry, in 3gallon pots same medium. So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE . INFO — Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :) Quick One is a fast-growing autoflowering strain. This was one of the first autoflowering strains developed. When it was first released, it was one of the quickest growing strains on the planet. Seedlings look a bit odd, with a yellow center, let's give her some days in and see what happens next.

Very late post cause I was moving Houses 😩

Transplanted into a bigger pot. Used a dirty old trash pot, and it was a shame to look at. So i transplanted into 38.5L fabric pot, to get an "airYY" and sexy root development :P ! As u can see, the "little monster", looks sick, and very angry. Its a sign of transplant, and bad conditions (the pot).. (SORRY lil baby plant)... But it will be better, after a few kisses and days.

Ladies are doing ok this week. Had a heat wave with high humidity here the last few days. Been struggling to keep temps and humidity down. My Lemon AK #2 has a tad of leaf curl along the serrations, but other than that I think all is well. The frost is building nicely and the Lemon AK is getting nice and sticky. My Gorilla Glue is still a bit behind on flowering but they are making good progress. Overall I'm happy with last weeks results. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👍

I’m excited to see what RQS have to offer with this little Gem! I’ve been waiting to try another of Royals Automatics, Fat Banana is a strain Im growing along side Gelato and Gorilla 😁 It’s been an eventful first few days.. (arnt they always!) she also poked her head up yesterday so Day 1 is 30/03/20. Let’s see how this week treats her, I plan to keep a close eye on the environmental conditions and to ensure she’s being fed some gentle nutrients, CalMag to begin with followed by some BioBizz Grow for the extra nitrogen needed at this delicate time 👌 See you all next week, I hope with more leaves to show 🌱✌️ Peace and love, stay safe

Day 22: Today I increased the lamp output to 100 watts. So that the fresh new leaves are supplied with enough light. In the little video you can see how I mix the fertilizer. I also find the play of colors of the individual components quite beautiful. Of course I also solved the small visible residue before I watered the plants. Day 25: The trunk is slowly becoming a trunk. With increasing growth and the number of leaves, the seedlings slowly become young plants. Day 27: The first roots protrude from the bottom of the pot. I think it's time to plant the young plants in larger pots. The plants became 3 times this week 200ml of water with 0,4g/l Hybrid Powderfeeding by Greenhousefeeding.

Tag 53: Ab heute beginnt die Blüte bei der Chocolate Haze. Obwohl ich sie vor 2 Tagen nochmals entlaubt habe, ist die Pflanze schon wieder enorm gewachsen 😳 Ich hoffe ich kriege sie in der Blüte gebändigt 😬

Just been feeding her water once a week..she continues to swell I will give her some molasses one for the road and just water until week 8.

They seem to have stopped stretching and are now focusing on the buds. Very odd coloration happening on the leaves of the left plant. I'm thinking it's either a calcium deficiency or a manganese deficiency. Either way the buds are developing nicely still. Right is looking great right now, save for a few spider mites I had to squish earlier last week. Nice and frosty at 5th week of flower. If all goes well with both of these girls, I'll be harvesting them at the end of January. I'll definitely give them a bud washing b/c I found mites. Update 1/2/22: okay I've got a few notes to make on the progress as a whole. So after topping right, it seems like she started producing flowering hormones right after. While left focused on stretching for like a week more. Right has fat, compact and frosty buds- shaped like golf balls. Left has spire-shaped buds, not AS dense(still dense though, mind you), and less frost. So I'm thinking left is staggered behind right by about a week. Since this is week 5, we'll be able to tell just how far ahead she is by week 8.

OG Fun and I are enjoying this lazy rainy Sunday together. I was going to move her to my side yard with the other ladies, but I love looking out at her–she has kind of become my muse. She’s branching out beautifully and has a classic Christmas tree shape. As she's getting plenty of sun and growing healthy, I’m going to keep her up here for the time being. Her pre-flowers are slowly starting to disappear, but no other changes to report this week. I'm using the same fertilizer blend (per gallon): - Soy hydrolysate (12-0-0) - 2.43 grams (160 ppm nitrogen (77 ppm from soy hydrolysate + 27 ppm from liquid fertilizer + 56 ppm from potassium nitrate)) - Liquid Fertilizer (4-10-3) - 2.6 grams (30 ppm phosphorus - measured with a cup on a scale) - Potassium Nitrate (13.5-0-46.2) - 1.56 grams (175 ppm potassium (158 ppm from potassium nitrate + 17 ppm from liquid fertilizer)) - Soy hydrolysate, liquid fertilizer, and potassium nitrate are combined together with no noticeable precipitation - Micronutrient liquid fertilizer (0.75% Mg, Mn, Ca, Zn, Cu, B, Ni, Fe) - 15 ml (delivered separately on a different day to avoid precipitation when blended with the 4-10-3)
