🌸 Week 7 Flower – Crystals, Aromas & Monster Buds Welcome, friends, to the final pre-harvest chapter for our Mango Kush sisters. Week 7 Flower is where everything comes together: weight, density, aroma, and frost. And let me tell you — these girls are absolute monsters. ⸻ 🌱 The State of the Sisters • Pheno #1 – The trailblazer. Her colas are enormous, dense, and sparkling like snowy peaks under the lights. The macro shots reveal a glittering layer of trichomes, covering buds, sugar leaves, and even little fan leaves near the canopy. She’s showing phenomenal resin production, and her pistils are thick and curling. • Pheno #2 – The younger sister, but catching up fast. Her buds are dense and sticky, the frost is appearing more heavily, and every macro shot reveals the same dazzling crystal coverage. She’s slightly behind Pheno #1 in maturity, but don’t be fooled — she’s a true powerhouse in her own right. The smell in the room is so strong that if it weren’t for the carbon filters, we’d probably be calling the fire department thinking someone baked 100 mango pies at once! 😅 I mean the frost on these buds? Looks like Mother Nature had a snow day in the grow tent — pure white crystals everywhere, like the plants are wearing winter coats in July! ❄️ ⸻ 🔬 Trichome Watch – Macro Details Week 7 is all about trichomes. Here’s what we’re seeing and monitoring: • Clear trichomes: Still present, mainly on the lower bud sites, indicating some time left before peak potency. • Cloudy/milky trichomes: The majority of bud surfaces are now showing full milkiness, a sign of peak THC potential. • Amber trichomes: Small percentages on the tips of pistils — this is the first sign of cannabinol conversion, giving the slightly more sedative effect. 🌱 Educational takeaway: Trichome inspection is the golden key to deciding harvest timing. Macro photography helps us see nuances invisible to the naked eye. Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and this will be the first full week of flower. I gave her the first dose of flower nutes yesterday and all seems well. She’s been stretching over and inch every day the past couple days so looking forward to her stretching to stop and her starting to pack on the flowers. Day 44 - Nothing to really speak of today, she’s still doing her stretch. Just really took her out for some updated pictures and to give her a once over/tuck some leaves. Day 47 - All is going well and she’s still doing a bit of stretching but all the bud sites are starting to fill in a bit now. The soil was starting to get dry so she got 2 full gallons of plain water today. She doesn’t look like she’ll need much defoliating, she’s not a very leafy girl so most likely I’ll just let her go. Day 48 - All is going well and she’s starting to get a bit of frost going now so looking forward to seeing what kind of smell she’ll put out. I did remove a couple bigger fan leaves from the top today but just tucked everything else. Day 49 - The end of week 7 for this girl and looking like her stretching is slowing down a bit, only a little over a half an inch the last 24 hours. On the other hand the frost is really starting to come out on her and looking forward to seeing everything fill in.

Day 49: Today I changed the light schedule to 12/12. Notice some nute burn signs 3 days ago, gave plain water last feeding, Runoff was 369ppm/Ph:6.4. They seem to be very sensitive over 600ppm and start burning. Day 52: Feeding day today: 1ml Calmag, 1.5ml Silica, 5ml Micro, 2ml Gro, 5ml Bloom, 2.5ml Humic acids + a scoup of great white. Diluted to 540ppm. Ph: 6.5 / Runoff: 700ppm, Ph: 5.8. The girls are starting the stretch. Day 54: Today I did some more training with those cheap bending clips I found on aliexress. Stretch seems fast!

This week has gone fine. The lemon still looks sorry for itself. I am thinking they may all finish at the same time maybe the lemon is a little behind the others. Probably another 20 days and start flushing. I will start keeping an eye on the trichomes from next week. Max 26.6deg Avg 22.7deg Min 17.6deg Max 61.2% Avg 49.4% Min 40.7%

Good week, noticed I mutant plant out of all the strains I started. These are good to go .so far plants are really healthy and happy. Just did the sort transplant from 4.5 inch pots to 5 gallon pots.

Amnesia 1 created fat buttons unlike amnesia 2 one of the reasons was poor rooting.

Stretch is well under way, growing really fast now. Not much to report just tying branches down, all going well... onto the next week 🙂

All 12 are flowering now ! rolling through week 5 almost at the end of start of week 6 . This is for tangiematic , gg4, and sweet creme glueberry a few days behind . The hazes and others are 2 weeks behind And forgotten cookies stretching out nicely ! The frost level is amazing . Leaving. Also got a new kitten about 4 months old her name is dutchess loves being in the tent smelling each plant truly amazing :)! Little update by the end of week 5 !

Finally flowering something out here 😊 This plant has been more than ready for it Nothing exciting yet. day 3 of flowering light cycle. This plant reeks! (On the left: Blue Cheese) Quite a fast response. Hairs in the crowns already. Cheese is a bit slower so far.

Learning a ton as I go. Started low stress training using rubberized wire poked down into the soil. Spent a lot of time just tucking the fan leaves down. I'm an idiot when it comes to watering. I dont think I'm getting enough down to the bottom of the pot, but dont want to over water. I'll just continue with what I'm doing.

yesterday I did a major defoliation of the mid and upper canopy, getting noticeably more light penetration. I also visited my local hydroponic store this week and purchased me a liter of power si bloom. overdrive and moab. not going to start the MOAB or overdrive till week seven. I’m very curious to what my overall harvest we will be seeing that this is my first grow and all. hopefully everything is going good so far I can’t notice any deficiencies myself if anybody else sees anything feel free to let me know, thank you

2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Fat Banana is a unique tropical indica/sativa hybrid. It is the result of crossing delicious Banana and outstanding OG Kush genetics. The strain demonstrates amazing potency and the THC level reaches to 25%. The plant develops a strong and long central cola and grows up 80-140 cm tall. Fat Banana develops a huge bushy structure outdoors. The flowering period takes 7-8 weeks and the harvest brings 350-400 g/m² under a 600w light indoor and 450 - 500 gr/plant outdoor. The smoke brings sweet, fruity, banana aroma and a very potent and enjoyable relaxing effect.
