This week these ladies got their first real dose of neglect. I have to get a root canal and been in a bit of pain missed their feeding they looked a little rough. Fortunately about 4 hrs after feeding with GoldLeaf 1 Part Fertilizer they were back to their happy selves. Pictures for this week are from the day after feeding. They definitely were moderate drinkers in veg now we hit flower they are taking in more daily. Also note I feed periodically throughout the day on feed days in this tent to see if their is a difference doing it this way rather than a all at once approach. The stretch is over for the 4 plants. The buds grow slowly but the weather was bad once again. The lower leaves are yellowing so I decided to add some bio-grow. Lilly x White Widow is doing good. She has finished, and is ripening well. I am just a little past when I would like to cut her. I am waiting on space in Cannatrol. So I have to cycle them in to it in 8 day gaps. Her next update will be her Harvest. I did reduce the light strength on the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights to 60 percent. In the seventh week, I am preparing a detailed essay to explain my training method. I plan to increase the nutrient solution dosage to 35ml, including Warmcasts, seaweed, and a flower mix I concocted. Additionally, I will introduce 100% Gaba powder at half a teaspoon, mixed with water, to be administered at nighttime for the next two weeks. This natural chemical compound can help the plant relax and alleviate stress as it transitions into the pre-flowering stage and starts producing flowers. On the 11th of January, I completed the last defoliation procedure before the plant enters the pre-flowering stage in three days. I observed that the DLI (Daily Light Integral) reading is a bit high, and the light is positioned at the top. Therefore, I aim to adjust the light to achieve an ideal DLI range between 20-30. There is currently no CO2 supplementation in place. On the 12th of January, I eagerly await the pre-flowering stage and anticipate its onset in a few more days. It's time to initiate a 3-day mid-drying period. A notable event on the 12th of January was the arrival and easy installation of the Spectrum King Sk600. The brightness of this new light is noticeably superior compared to the Budmasters. On the 13th of January, the plants experienced the first half-day under the SK600, and everything appears to be in good condition. Furthermore, I decided to move one of the vegetative plants, "Mango Skunk," into the flower tent on the same day. Additionally, there was a rearrangement of the lights in the flower tent, with the Spectrum King SK600 and Cropmaster Pro 1000 DIY being utilized. The readings for both lights were documented as follows: DLI - 197 u/mols, PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) - 3000 and up at 23 inches from the canopy, PPFD 2942 at 24 inches from the canopy. I also applied blood fish and bone on topsoil and worked it in, using 2 cups of the mixture on the 14th of January. It was a relatively quiet day, and to lighten the growing mood, I took a quick video and uploaded some pictures of my dog Martina, showcasing her journey from a puppy. The bottom node leaves are significantly large, leading me to anticipate massive buds in the future. Late-night observations revealed that Pablo, a plant in the tent, may not have fully stretched to fill the available space, suggesting that it could be male. On the other hand, the forgotten haze cakes strain occupies a substantial portion of the tent, showcasing positive training outcomes. On January 15, 2024, I removed the twist ties from the cola stalks to allow for better airflow and to support the unrestricted growth of the plants. The following day, I took some photos to document the progress of the plants. It's always fascinating to visually track their development over time. Also on January 16, a plant named "Freaky Pablo" displayed unusual characteristics, signaling that it might be a male plant. To prevent any potential pollination issues, I decided to remove "Freaky Pablo" from the grow space. On the same day, I observed the presence of pre-flowers, indicating the beginning of the flowering stage. This marks an exciting phase in the growing process as the plants transition to a crucial stage of their life cycle. During this time, I made some adjustments to the positioning of the "Mango Skunk" plant, initially moving it up to the top bed and then deciding to move it back to the bottom. On January 18, I noted that the lights were turned on, marking the start of the flowering phase. This is a significant milestone in the plant's development as it shifts its focus from vegetative growth to flower production. Additionally, I relocated a plant named "Spicy Temp" to the flower tent. This move ensures that all plants in the flowering stage are in the optimal environment for the next phase of their growth. Overall, it appears that the grow operation is progressing well, and I am looking forward to witnessing how the plants continue to develop. And finally, here's a joke for you: What did one plant say to the other? "Hey bud, how's it growing?" I am not, because i am dead!

Still waiting for trichomes to turn all cloudy. Seems to be taking forever! Many leaves are yellowing now so she is close to the end for sure.

Water change day .. Drinking. 2000 ml each per day.. So 6 days on the nute change... ******************* 2 Buckets done .. 5 Left . I may leave the caramel cream autos until tomorrow , they are drinking slightly less per day , but the big girls are drinkers for sure .... So getting better at mixing nutes, bought giant bag of disposable droppers, god damn so much easier for me . I have visual impairment, and shaky hands from the brain tumors. The visual impairment is bad, but the shakes come and go . I normally get a few good rips on the Dr Dabber Switch before i start to help. But the mixing went much better . less mess and i simply pitched the pipette after each use . YEs i know wasteful .... but for me , for now its what i have to do. 1 pipette for each nute for each bucket, they are cheap enough. This way not contaminating anything, and at the amount im mixing, 3 mils - 20 mils each . Biggest problem i have, and i guess maybe not a bad problem ... I have 4 girls on one side of the 4x9 tent, and 3 on the other. The four on the one side are all Glue Gelato Autos and my lord I can not get to the back left side bucket at all with the amount of foliage. So moved a bucket to the other side to allow me to drop in a pail to do a siphon out and refill. See pictures... So I am 10000% upgrading to the 13 gallon x 8 fall ponic system after this grow ..... THANK GOD the caramel cream autos are half the size and 1 of the glue gelatos is slightly smaller on the right to allow me to move around the tent slightly, and im a lean dude.... But i am surprised each day when i check the progress just how far they have come for my first try ... Still have low expectationsfor crops and yields , but am loving the time learning and getting to know hydroponics. I TOTALLY get when the OG growers say just listen to them they will tell you what they need, legit all i have done is feed, maintain enviroment and observe. positive i can not make the same moistakes i made so far net time just by learning my lessons and understanding better the purpose for each Nute and how to spot when the plants are asking for them . Still moving along , missed a week on it but nothing really missed with that. Continuing with the Pro-blend upped the ml alil bit but she was pretty pale so added a few ml more to her feed.. Added silica this week aswell as Recharge.. Dropped a handful of leaves to let light reach the lowest parts better and lower the humidity in the lil clone tent she's in. Really filling out, shooting tons of leaves, multiple nodes going on curious to see how she grows from here on. But not much to note, letting her take her time , won't be flipping till she's about 20/24in tall. That's about it for the update. Another great week. She stacked up her buds and should be getting the chop in the coming days. The frost on her is amazing. I also sampled a test nug and just dam. It's some quality bud lol.

In the end, it's still a nice phenotype, but not at all frosty. Very dense buds with a slightly lemony scent.

Hey guys so here is my blue cheese mutant . Finally bushing right out and the pre flower is well under way . Really looking forward seeing how the lady turns out as I have always had good results mutants in past .

Seems like she's taking longer, think this might be because I used my phone flashlight to check on her during dark in the first weeks flower. Not too bothered by this as it means she might get a little fatter :) Some slight purple discoloration beginning to show from the cold night temps

Day 91 from seed! She's been fed/watered every 4 days (when media is 90% dry) with 2.5 gallons flood-and-drain style of the above listed nutes. Other than that, I have only been plucking the occasional leaf that looks at me funny! :) Next week is flush week! I'll start next week by dragging her into the bathtub, to flow 50 gallons of tap water through the roots. Then she will be on plain tap water(2.5 gallons every 4 days) for two waterings - She should be dry on day 100, and ready for harvest!

Did she stretch 2cm? I'm saying: yes! Otherwise same old. Oh, just realising I didn't measure bud width. Man, it's depressing. So many leaves in the bud, it's going to be hell trimming these two sad colas. But she's doing her best, so I should do, too. Chopping time is close.
