Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.

She's doing her thing this week. Watching pistils and trichomes. I want plenty of amber trichomes before harvesting her.

Elle sera définitivement classée comme une strain dure à faire pousser. Une semaine elle a trop de nutriment, et puis cette semaine, elle semble en manquer. Les feuilles jaunissent jour après jour et je n'ai même pas flushé encore. Peut-être que c'est les foliar feeds avec le BooBloom?. Au moins, elle a de belle couleurs mauves et jaunes que je n'ai jamais eu avant, dommage que ce soit trop tôt. Je crois que je vais la flusher 1 semaine avant la récolte au lieu de 2 et donner un peu de nutriments à chaque arrosage pour les dernières semaines avec une plus forte concentration de Bloom. Hello Everyone, I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that. It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants. The plants had a good sunny week as well. Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest. Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it. Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes. I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing. I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol. As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing. Day 21: . Wow these girls can grow fast. Having spent decades growing photoperiod strains and with only 1 Autoflower grow previously , I am astounded by the rate at which they grow daily. Watching the fan leaves gain so much size each day and the stems thickening alongside them shows their ability to rapidly cycle through their stages. The Gorilla girls are doing so well and even the mutant#4 is starting to settlenin and gain a nice colour to her. I do think the up pot has affected her height and development initially but hope she will catch up now. I have started to train the #2 GG with a 90° bend to her 5th node. I plan to keep them bent over like this until the lower nodes catch up and begin to develop as mains too. This is to avoid any topping at all as I want to see if this is a viable option with my room size. I used the forefinger and thumb method to gently crush the stem by rolling with slight pressure until I felt it soften enough to apply the bend but not too damaged to slow the growth to any note. Seeing how so many autos have a huge main stem that seems to form the upper part of the good yields from them , I thought I could keep it around but held down to still break the apical dominance. fingers crossed. The Sweet cheese is getting herself set for a burst of growth too I think. she is a few days behind the others but looks happy enough. I am hoping to get to week 5 before they hit their flowering run to gain enough size to fill my space used and seeing their rapid speed , they just might do that. Blueberryz had lockout problems so flushed now looking better, had alot of problems with her but have learned alot for first auto. Limoncello been perfect the whole run 2 3 week more max be starting to flush this

Week 10 Temperatures are still not as high as in week 8, still 25 degrees celsius (77fh), I gave a few days only PH water, but now i'm back on the feed again with PK 13/14. You can see some leafs turning a lighter colour green but i think this is normal ending of life cycle. Maybe someone can say more or else about it.

Trim jail was real on this one. Put a pillow behind the back and that really made life easier. Next time will be lollipopping this variety to make the process easier all around.

Been a bit of a strange plant the older gelato..small bud sites hoping she pops but I don’t have much hope for her it’ll be a case of ‘quality over quantity’ I think but that’s all good she smells amazing so frosty and sticky! The smaller gelato is still in preflower I took all the undergrowth away so she’s recovering from that but she looks good too!

Probably switching to flushing nutes this week. I'm on trichome watch.

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma.
