Hey fellow growers welcome back for week 7 update of my criticalpurple and pineapple auto grow! So the only real update to the grow operation is an air conditioner install! Which has made a major change in the climate and my girls are very satisfied with their new lifestyle!! Bud production is on the increase! I also installed pot elevators under all my ladies as suggested by Papa_T. To help get some air flow under the pots to prevent root rot. I just installed these tonight so I'll let yall know what I think of them. I also had to purchase a new Ph meter because I dropped my old one in the mixing bucket(of course)! So if you read last week it was a all water week. This week I threw the nutrients too them after a deficiency. I was fed up with deficiency problems so I wanted to see what they would take! The girls seem to love the feeding! Also the deficiency is neutralizing. So I've only had the one feeding this week. I will be watering tomorrow. 10/18/21 5ml- calmag 4ml- micro 6ml- bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.35 Solution temp 73.1F 1003 ppm Still alternate feed/Water every four days at 1gal/plant. I'm going off of pot weight mostly but it seems like a gal every 4-5 days and they are happy with it. Critical purple #1- So this lady has turned into a power house! She was slow in veg but quickly has recovered! She is throwing on the bud quick! She is going to be a heavy hitter! To me she seems to be filling out and her aroma is starting to join in with her 2 week ahead flowering sister! She is also my 🌟 of the week for the second week running! Measured 28" tall Critical purple #2- Boy oh boy is this shorty packing some heat! With this being this little ladies 4th week in 🌸 The aroma this lady is throwing out is intoxicating🤤🤤!! She is showing a few amber pistols but tricomes are clear and still developing I'm still thinking about three weeks out. She won't be plucked till ready! I can promise that! Measured 18" tall. Pineapple auto #1- So big week for this lady also as u remember from last week I was pulling the tape off Sunday well I waited until Tuesday 10/12 giving her a whole 9 days and I would like to say my girl is knuckled up👊! She has recovered saving my future bud site. I know this is small for more seasoned growers but for me this is a major stepping stone. Other than that bud production is chugging along. Every day this girl is still filling in her part of the tent. Measured 32" tall. Pineapple auto #2- This lady has been my focus factor this week. She was suffering a nitrogen, magnesium deficiency with some possible light burn also. But she is recovering after some cal-mag. I will prob give her cal- mag every feed/Water till flush from here on out too keep her stable. Even with the deficiency she is still producing bud so no signs of stress at this point. Measured this lady out to be 37" tall. I would like to Thank all the growers for taking time away from your own beauties to read about mine. Gave last top dressed beggening of week 5.. just ph 6.5 water from now till harvest..

The plant keeps maturing but is not there yet. I'm not the biggest fan of how it grew (long and slender) but might be a combination of the fertilizer choice and the new light. Anyways this plant should not have any mold issues ^^ Should be done i 1 or two weeks :)

Just started them all on the Green Buzz Liquid Organics and will run it the rest of the way. I'm not going to add much to the line just some calmag, enzymes maybe terpinator I have to experiment with it a little bit. The first feed went extremely well the plants instantly reacted within an hour after the feed especially the next day. The additives in this line barely raised PPM at all which I liked. It also doesnt stink like other liquid organics I've used. Day 21 of flower, these two are very healthy and have a pretty sturdy foundation. Had to defoliate a little bit I usually try to around week 1 and 3 of the flip. Getting 2nd feed of the GBL line today.

Well she transitioned into flower this week but she is stretching at a fast rate. I'm hoping she keeps stretching another week or two. Two of the other autos started to bud this week but i was hoping this one would be offset beings that is was germinated a little later so Im wondering if theirs something that triggered them to flower other than its genetics. It did cool down this week from in the 100's, to mid 80's and mid 60's at night. They got more compost tea this week and some rain a few days earlier in the week followed by sunshine.

Day 35 Gave her a flush and fresh nutrients. Added a little maxibloom. Switched lights to 12/12. Did some defoliation. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp armor si .5 tsp calimagic .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

I stood on a step ladder to get a top view of her. The top after super cropping the four tops is about 2.5 feet across. The buds are really stacking. The plant has recovered well from the last capping and defoliation🏻‍♀️ A few leaves have yellowed a little, but that's not so bad🏻‍♂️ It will get a compost tea🍵 in a few days when it is sent into flower and then everything will be fine again😊💪🏻🏻 The compost tea is brewed and was given to the Watermelon Runtz at day 49 of Veg🍉🏃‍♂️

Ahhhhh this tent is atleast going somewhat well. It’ll be a recovery from the photoperiod tent light leak :( They still stretching ahaha, each strain has a dwarf pheno which is hilarious imo Smells like an orange/tangarine forest….damn.

#seedsman420growoff and #SeedsmanSeeds 📆 Week 5, 25-31 May 2024 25-27 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 28 May - Defoliated plant. 29 May - Placed scrog ring on trellis system, bent top of plant over 90 degrees, adjusted and spread branches (see pictures). 30-31 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I’m very pleased with the way this plant has responded to the nutrient schedule so far. Now it is time to see how she will do with training. I like using a version of the scrog method most because it gives me the greatest space for bud growth overall. My experiences have taught me that under these lights there is about 15-18” worth of quality vertical bud potential. Anything below that line is only draining on the plant, and not receiving adeqate DLI. So I dont need to focus on a tall plant - rather a wide one. Now that she is under a scrog the DLI has a significant canopy increase. What I’ve done with this plant is cut all side shoots off the main branches up to the scrog. She will grow for another week to allow all for growth to develop just above that and then be flipped to flower. I’ve never grown this plant before, but assumeing she can double her size during pre-flower, I’ll have plenty of room in my grow tent. The Trellis System: is made with 1/2” (12.7mm) white, SharkBite PEX, 1/2” pex clamps, small screws/nuts #6-32 x 3/8 in (to hold clamps opposite each other, this is what holds the structure together, side bars, rings, scrog), 1/2” pex straight coupling connectors (to connect rings, and extensions), nylon tape and nylon cord. The frame design is independant from the bucket and can be put on anytime before or after the start of the grow. It simply snaps together (nothing needs to be crimpted), the rings stay in tact with coupling and tape, the netting is strung once for the most part, I prefere 2” squares, and held in place by clamps. The size of the rings depends on the size of your pot, the bottom and top ring are measured seperately. The scrog ring is determined by the size of the tent or desired spread. It takes 5 side bars evenly spaced apart and snapped on the bottom ring 1st to hold the frame sturdy in place, their length should start flat from the bottom to about 8” above the top of the bucket. Place the pot into the bottom ring with 5 side bars already attached, lift up the bars, then put on and attach the top ring, this prevents it from moving. Both are then placed on a 12” Bonsai turn table for easy access and observation of the plant. The final scrog is placed on when the desired height is close to being achieved, then maneuvered down over the plant. A simple design that allows you to easily adjust the netting (place extenders on side bars faceing in opposite direction for additional height) and opens many other possabilities for training. This week has seen a lot of bushing out. The Banana Kush has certainly found its legs and taken to flower like. Duck to water. Each day tucking leaves under the net but starting to see bud sites slowly forming.
