What we develop now will be all we have for the final 4-5 weeks. A high C:N ratio (like in straw or corn residue) requires soil microbes to use a significant amount of nitrogen for decomposition, temporarily tying it up and making it unavailable to plants. What up everyone. Weekly update on these ladies. This week they've done good, seeing growth and new leafs. I did see some white spots on a leaf or two so I'll up my ipm to twice a week until I know they're pest free. Over all I'm happy for the weeks to come as the outdoor season is in full swing.

Mental rainbow F1 has come quite far she’s on 2nd week of flushing and she’s thickening up and has pretty much stoped stretching and just been focusing her energy on thrichome production and filling out the buds looking forward to harvest within a week or so

I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

Hello😀 Week 5 of flower begins as week 4 was. Pretty easy. Did a light defoliation as she was and is got some good leaf on her but I have decided I would go minimalist this round so no training to any plants has been given. The only issue I had was my run off was coming out slightly higher PH then going in. After some sage advice from @lassos I was advised to remove the golden tree as it is more acidic then I want and I also ran PH lower at 5.8 for most of last week giving 2 feeds a day at an EC of 1.9. 3l morning 3l night. I am happy to say PH has balanced out so thanks again lassos👍. Not much else to say she is stacking well with a nice looking flower. Smells kinda sweet not much there yet.. I plan to up the biobizz top max a little and maybe see if she wants a bit more bloom. Temperature has remained fairly consistent with night lows of 20 and I try and keep the flower room at 26c with an RH of 70%. Got a good healthy plant and have some great airflow in there so not overly concerned about the higher RH. That's all really this week. I’ve increased the nutrients to BioBizz Grow (3ml), BioBizz Bloom (2ml), and BioBizz TopMax (1.5ml). The plants are growing well and have recovered from the calcium deficiency. 🍃💪 I’m continuing to add a bit of BioBizz CalMag to prevent any future deficiencies. 🌱✨ This week, I also added some soil to the pots, as the soil level had flattened out quite a bit. I topped up each pot with about 1.5 liters of soil.

Woohoo! - Put her into a puck this evening with a bit of myco. 10-24 - I can just see her stem on the surface of the puck, guess her shell is sill under. She's trying!!! - Prepared her pot today. Using a 3 gal fabric pot with Promix Coco, no pearlite this time, just straight coco. Fully prewet the coco with a light feed mix of 1.75ml/gal cal mag, 1.75ml/gal Coco A, and 1.75ml Coco B. PPm 270 with a ph of 5.8. - Also using new nutrients this run. Using Plagrons coco A and B. Very excited for this! I love coco, and Plagrons Tera was just a bit much for them in coco, at least i thought so. Will plant into the pot tomorrow! Will start Day 1 tomorrow. **Yes, I am so excited to start her, it's been a longer wait than I anticipated. I don't know what she's going to be like at all, but that's part of the fun! She is definitely one of the most photogenic cultivar's I've grown and is looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days, which will put her around two or three more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! Hello. This is the end of week 11 and the beginning of week 12 of veg. Man it's been hot this week. 4th day in a row it's been over 30*c in the greenhouse. It's been 2 days since the last watering and they were dry last night and had to water. Yeah... I just couldn't throw out that mutated sister. Yeah... I should repot her and maybe top her too. Sometimes the mutated ones are the best.... Time will tell. Everything else is going good. Some of the bottom leaves are turning yellow. Nothing to worry about though It's just wanting more food next watering. OK. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different!
