The Mandarin Squeeze sisters are making good progress. I did a neem oil treatment on everything in the grow room 4 days ago. I am doing it again today. I have a pest but have not seen it directly. I find super tiny white clear sacs on the leaves. Might be eggs. Regardless I have everything on a treatment plan that I can treat. The video was done after all treatments, and training for the day. Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

Day 59, 17th of November 2021: Well, not much to mention but the most important: Pistils are coming so the flowers are on the way!!!!! Set up is the same nothing has changed: ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hour on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Hey everyone 😃. Day 1 : The seeds were placed between 2 moist towels to germinate and sealed in a box. Day 2 : No change . Day 3: Both seeds have sprouted and you can see a small tip of the root coming out. Day 4: The tip of the root looks out about 0.5 - 1 cm. today they were set in stone wool blocks. These were placed in water beforehand and mixed with a little Rizotonic to stimulate root formation. Day 5: Today, both seedlings stick their heads out about 1 cm 😊. (The grow box is sprayed under the hood every day to keep it moist.) Day 6: Today the heads are already looking 2 cm out. Day 7: Both rock wool blocks were planted in Canna Coco, and some water with an Ec mixture 0.4 was added. So they stay under the hood for about 7-10 days. (The lid is opened a little wider every 2-3 days to get used to the lower humidity. The plants bounced back after the defoliation and a watering with Squid concentrate and some water that had banana peels soaked in it for a few days. I just got the Fox Farms trio of nutes and will introduce those on the next watering.....probably tomorrow. Now, to search for what the light patches on the leaves are. Hmmmm?

Good day! The Royal Gorilla - is amazingly strong plant, a lot of branches covered with the flowers. And the most amazing for me - is the aroma. Really... the aroma is so FRUITY and sweet. For now it is Number 1 aroma for me. Big bucket of fruits.:) So nothing to say about the vegetation- there was no issue at all. The Gorilla likes all feeding and watering. I will start adding some PK from next week. Also the flowering begun very fast and right now I have 2 more autoflowers with the same birthdate :) the Gorilla is champ. Bueno, van muuuy bien, quizás en alguna variedad me pasé con la tijera y por solo confiar en las cabezas, no voy a sacar mucha producción pero bueno, lo que salga se fuma, y lo que no, se cultiva de nuevo xD. Las plantas tiran un oloor... Me lo tiene todo apestado! Jajaja para bien! Aclaro que estas fotos son literalmente tras encenderse las luces despues de 6h de un producto de descarga total antifungico que usé en oscuridad. El producto es valido para floración, ademas que pienso que aún quedará un mes pal corte, tiempo de sobra + 2 semanas de secado + otras 2 semanas de curado (no nos engañemos, se fumará desde que esté seca xD pero la teoría es que no, que aguanto hasta que cure). El tiempo este que digo, lo menciono a modo, tiempo mas que de sobra de irse los restos. Debido al producto, que lo coloqué en el centro del armario, las ramas mas cercanas han sufrido de estres químico y han cerrado estomas, por eso estan mas marrones o caídas, incluso como si tuviesen estres hidrico. La semana que viene cuando suba las fotos, veremos los cambios :). PD: adoro esta variedad xD cogollos gordisimos, se resiste a todo, alguna arañita pequeña veo aun pero lo lleva muuuy muy bien, y su olor.... Tengo entendido que tiene al menos dos fenotipos muy marcados, yo solo he germinado 1 de las 4 semillas que tengo y he de decir que en esta me ha tocado el gaseoso! Huele a gas! Esssagerao! Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later.
