Pure Ice cream close is doing great. I hst her canopy early week. I switched her light time to 12/12 today to get the flowering process going. I also trimmed out a lot of bottom growth and started defoliation on the dense canopy. I will be doing more in about 2 weeks. Mainly I am concerned with keeping her stretching down. So she don't get too close to the light. Every thing has been going well for most part. A few Challenges ahead, but I think I will get through them. Now I have solved the light setting all the girls are starting to swell very well I have used so caning to spread the canopy other than that it’s that stage of patience watching the pistils and calyx’s mature, the smell of all these plants are delicious can’t wait now for harvest!!!

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Still hanging, slowly drying and result should be decent at the end ... A week more I guess, very humid in UK ... Day 118. First trimmed - 175 g. Other is chopped ! One still grows ... Day 136. Hey friends :-) . There is not much to tell this week. They smell stronger and stronger, but unfortunately I don't really like the bud production. It is going very slowly, and she just doesn't want to have many nutrients :-(. Just don't understand why. I know the genetic, because I have it as a mother, and there are 100% all parameters in the perfect area. I have prepared a completely new nutrient solution again, and I will watch you closely this week :-). Otherwise everything looks great. The new update is coming next week. 30.4.25: This worked out very nicely 👌 I just found Ecothrives' new, Trace! I was looking for Cal-Mag with no NPK. I came across this, I'm genuinely so excited to get using this! Ecothrive has the best products, hands down. As fate would have it, the plants are looking pretty dry! I'm going to be watering with the Trace and Biosys. Let's see what happens 😁 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 contained: ♡ 3ml of Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 Tsp (2.4ml) Ecothrive Biosys PPM 475 PH 6.0 1.5.25: I mixed a foliar feed with my new Ecothrive Trace. I filled a 250ml spray bottle with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with 4ml Ecothrive Trace. I used the entire bottle in 3 plants throughout the course of the day. The fan is very strong, so it didn't take long to dry. However, I did keep the lights dimmer to ensure no leaves were burnt. Additionally, I spent more time than I care to admit massaging the foliar spray into the leaves 😅 I also moved the LED lights up as Northern Lights is still stretching. Par was about 600-700. Which may be too much. I'll keep an eye on it. Let's see how we're looking in a few days after the first Ecothrive Trace application! 4.5.25: Hulkberry had totally dried out, I needed to top dress, so I added 2 Tbs of Ecothrive Life Cycle and 1 Tbs of Ecothrive Charge. I mixed it into the top loose soil, as I didn't want to get all the worm castings, coco, perlite, etc, out from storage. I watered with 6 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5. I added: ♡ 1/4 Tsp Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1/2 Tsp Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf nutrients. PPM: 840. The plant is in week one of flower, so nutrient needs will be changing. As I was late top dressing her, I decided to add some readily accessible nutrients to tide her over until the dry amendments have broken down enough. I moved the plant round yesterday, as one side was stretching. I removed the two bottom stems, as they weren't making it up to the canopy.
