The pool just got 1 more guest Strawberry Lemonade. I don't know if I mentioned it but we added Moon Walker Kush last week. Slurricane is finally semi happy, really she has been a pain in the ass. I had to drill a hole in her Dutch bucket, I think she is allergic to water..... really she has been a ball buster. Gorilla Zkittles is almost black. She looks Beautiful.... Shiskaberry and Blue Gelato 41 are coming along nicely.

Buenas!!

People of the ganja world, here we are, he second plant has gone down, we apologise to anyone affected by PTSD from the two towers, it was not our intention to harm you with the similarity. Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT! Yes it is time to get these ladies dried and ready to serve their purpose, life is a party, so let us have one! See you soon folks!

Happy Growing Growmies 🌱?💚 Euer Cangrowz

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Very fragrant. The buds are fat and beautiful, the colors are beautiful and the resin is making everything whiter and whiter. A few more weeks for her and then she will be harvested. The development is very good for a 3.7 liter pot (1 gal).

Hello. My Royal Gorilla auto continues to bloom. The smell is so cool . This is smell number one of all my grows . So exotic fruity and sweet smell. I water in the same way: every day to prevent salting. The plant genetic amazingly nice - very fast flowering time. I think may be one more week bloom and 3-4 days to clean the plant. Fertilizers RQS Organic Nutrients are great and enough for full cycle. I added some more extra food from GNHE and HESI

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. Orange sherbet isnt great right now. No real smell and not looking great. Not sure but prolly too small of a pot. Dimmed to 80% Here are the lights details: Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 150W LED Model: MN150-022 Spectrum mode: V1 Efficacy: 2.8 umol/J Thanks for stopping by! Day 65 since seed touched soil. Big disaster in garden !!! I added epsom salt and didnt phed , was in a rush to overtime, they dranked in 3 days , that was unexpected .... AK has root damage as rest, but on canopy i found 5 spotted leaves too, reminds calcium .... Hate myself, ph test kit was on table too, prepared, i just f@cked up in rush ... Running out of space. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is doing great job, two plants are like 5 cm away , still no signs of burn. Try to keep humidity in 65-70 % range, temps around 22, nights 20. All works. Will top up this week with next watering, want to give one plain. Wrong Ph led to slow uptake, AK is in limbo, behind couple days by weight, if troubles are bigger than i see now - maybe even 3-4. So sad .... One time wrong ph and you can damage garden heavily ... Close up bud photos were taken under max light, so colours are false. Day 66. Damage is done, see calcium rusty spots around, leaf colour not the best ... At least drinking normally, loaded 5 liters yesterday eve. Hope to do watering and top up this Friday. Day 68. They drink fast, 3 days were needed only. Loaded 5 liters again. Made top up. See bleaching, raised lights , have 10 cm left. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) : Plant Success - Great White - 5 ml / pot Ecothrive - Biosys - 5 ml / pot Ecotrive - Charge - 120 ml / pot Ecothrive - Life Cycle - 60 g. / pot Ecothrive - Bio Blend - 200 ml / pot. Happy Growing !!!

I cut some more leaves from both plants. The ibgger one is now about 70cm tall.. o.O I wonder why she does that :D Plus I wonder if the buds will get as big as those i nmy smaller tent. There's a one week older Amnesia growing with slightly bigger buds... even though there is only a small 100w lamp.

Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow.
