That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

Flushed her for 3 Days, after that i didnt give her any water for 2 days, and now she is going in the dark room for 2-3 days and then will be hung. Had to cut one Main-Cola due to Mold. The Plants are growing awsome, strong smell, and rock hard nugs in all colors. Its now the last week, she has been in flower since 8 weeks. Be ready for the harvest and the smoke report ;)

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed馃槼. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that鈥檚 gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We鈥檒l collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it鈥檚 needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there鈥檚 an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we鈥檝e been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we鈥檝e rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I鈥檓 happy to say that there isn鈥檛 any one plant I won鈥檛 consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we鈥檒l even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it鈥檚 just waiting around for seed馃憤. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It鈥檒l be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We鈥檝e combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She鈥檚 Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we鈥檝e got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation馃憤. We鈥檙e predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Stay tuned - with a little luck, this cross is gonna be straight

Once again these girls don鈥檛 really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can鈥檛 wait

5/4: Her two tops suddenly stretched a few inches. I'll tie them down in the next couple of days and when they get to the third node, I'll top them again. I gave her a little water with myco, kelp, molasses, cal-mag, silica, and humic acid. 5/6: I fed her about a gallon of water with boomerang, grow big, big bloom, cal-mag, silica, and humic acid. This was the last time I'll give her any grow big or boomerang...there's plenty of good stuff to support good growth for at least a month in the Happy Frog dry fertilizer I'm using. I did a little LST on her today...split those two main colas really well and tied them into horizontal positions on opposite sides of the pot. I used gorilla wood glue to seal the split. 5/7: I foliar fed with big bloom, grow big, silica, fulvic acid, and molasses. 5/8: I did a foliar application of Axiom harpin proteins. 5/9: I did a foliar application of boom boom spray. 5/10: She's growing very well now, so I topped all her main shoots and tied them them down to encourage the lower branches to compete for apical dominance. I'll water her tomorrow if it doesn't rain. That's it for week 5

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

I love how everything has came along so quickly. Absolutely love going Organic with compost tea brewing at home and molasses. Using Neem for pests and mold. Absolutely loving the results so far. Using a California Lightworks SolarSystem 550 with view mode, custom spectrums, program a whole season..... etc. I hate the measuring system for nutes on here. Im all organic so using compost tea I mix about 1/4 to the rest water and water in plants ev other watering.

End of week 7 going into week 8. Lots of pistils popping out but still don't have that bud fattening I was hoping for, not enough light and temperature a little lower than normal are slowing it down I suppose. The plan is very compact and sturdy and start to smell everyday more. Buds appears to concentrate on the main cola, all the side branches are not giving much. I defoliate it a little bit to help sunlight to reach inside buds, I think i removed less than 10% of its leaves, some of which were half eaten already by my cat. Feeding schedule is getting heavy but the plant doesn't seem to feel any stress about it. Thanks for passing by and happy growing 馃尡馃尣馃尦

The cal-mag issue has been handled and is growing strong. They are definitely producing some buds I hit them with a nasty defoliation trying to get humidity down and expose as much light to the nugs as possible. This will be the last time I hit them like this but will be still removing large fan leaves if they get in the way of bud sights. Hopefully lord willing everything will continue to go smoothly and we can get a good harvest.!! Happy growing and god bless.

Week 3 In the beginning of Week 3 I used 1/2 teaspoon of Grow Big which was a mistake! They really just needed to be left alone! Showed the tiniest bit of nute burn on the tips and when I saw that I went straight to checking PPM which was at like 1500 (yikes) and flushed until I got it down by 300 ppm. Should have waited until the 3rd set of leaves to feed! Luckily it was caught early and they are flourishing with no further issues. The side lighting from the T5 bulb really seems to be helping. They are really going along nicely, here's hoping I can get them through the net few weeks in the same fashion :) Moved the light down from 28 inches in the beginning to 17/18 inches by the end of week 3. The plants seem to love it and aren't showing any signs of heat/light stress
