5/17 Week 8 ... and the state of the grow is unsettled This grow has fought us since germ and it is showing no signs of giving in. Just cannot seem to find their "happy place" environmentally or nuet wise. They doing ok-ish this is not a big yielding strain no matter the ad copy but havent had this much issue with it indoors before. Starting at baseline with the lighting HID 300w 16 inches above Baba LED moved towards front of tent. Both lights tilted very slightly towards each other hopefully giving better dispersal. Still showing nitrogen sensitivity so reducing Bloom to 8ml/gal while increasing PK to 6 so PK does not suffer, will watch for deficiencies Looking at going considerably over on these now, nothing coming up behind them so zero space issues, see what happens. Continue to leaf pluck when one needs to go Evening feed 5/17: They look better and some experimenting with the lights showed me the angle tilt needed increasing and HID increased to 450w giving a total of 600w in the tent. Should not cause too much heat issue. Still have 150w in reserve 5/18 PM Pic of lights - Seems to be working out managing to cover base of tent with both lights giving a 5000k and 3000k spectrum. See how long it continues Re-did the lights Had to drop wattage on HID due to heat even after a redesign of the extraction to eliminate drag on air movement. For 14 hours they will run at 450 watts but for 6 hours a day will drop to 300 watts. This should keep any problems from occurring. Just hard to run that Metal Halide at more than 300 watts in warm weather without AC which aint happening. HID to 300/450 watts, 13 inches above Baba at a 20 degree tilt to disperse light. LED at full 17 inches above Athena with a 20 degree tilt. Coincidentally that puts them at the same height. Added a 30 watt 2700K LED on Baba and Athena give them some more red. See how it works. Working on a tactic to harvest Sally ahead of Jane without hurting either After a talk with her and looking seriously at what we have here I am going to break up the feeds. Athena will need to go into flush first she is furthest along. So start it on week 9. Sally ... we are going to do something unusual for her and Jane. Since flushing Sally per normal would be just no good for the twin Jane we are going to flush but then put the plants on organic bloom. So big initial flush with agent to clean out the salts then shifting her to light organics to continue feeding the twin without having to revisit the flushing issue. No idea how long the twin may go Baba will just play by ear on her, continue the light Bloom feeding keeping her PK up until we see the go signal from her. Hoping she goes a week longer than the others. 5/22 Lights to full weather is cool today and time is short Holding nuets here till new week then begin flush on Athena Buds still building nicely on Baba Almost forgot the twin: Here is the plan we flush the pot same time as Athena but on the next feeding we introduce organic bloom nuets for Jane instead of a flush as normal. We dont smoke so not overly concerned with harshness just want the pot clean. The organics will belay any further need of flushing. Best we can do 5/23 Need to start flush now so Athena and Sally on water only till I introduce organics to Sally. No agents Baba staying on feed

bueno se hizo una por primera vez una cosecha por partes, como indicamos en el post anterior, se cosecho los cogollos donde la luz pegaba mas al parecer y estaban mas desarrollados, la cosecha fue con tricomas blancos tendiendo a transparentes con pocos ambar, en opinion ya luego de una semanas y una segunda cosecha, es que cosechamos pronto por temor al pasarnos al ser primera vez, entonces posiblemente nos apresuramos un poco ligeramente o confundimos los tricomas tendiendo a ser transparente por los blancos que es lo que indica la teoria el punto de corte, pero no nso quejamos quedo genial! subiremos el segundo punto de corte luego de 2 semanas . LAS ULTIMAS FOTOS LAS DE LAS 2 SEMANAS MAS 2DO CORTE.

You can see that the buds have hardly grown any more this week and I am waiting for the trichomes to mature further. What surprised me, however, was that the Blue Dream recovered very well. Of course it has remained significantly smaller due to the problems, but the buds look promising.

Buds getting super chunky now. This is probably my best grow to date. Afghan Kush looks the most mature, I'll likely harvest this one first Crack and The Beanstalk has a huuuge main cola. Gushers colas are fucking phat at this point Smell is louuuuud! I've increased the airflow to try and reduce the relative humidity. The air in general is just quite humid so increasing airflow and circulation reduces humidity around the colas. This is supposed to be the penultimate week. Next week is flush week. I'll likely harvest AK after about 3 days of flush, CATB will probably flush to close to 14 days simply because it needs more time to mature.

Week 8: What can I say about this lady? The beefy colas are now gaining the resin that gives this strain it's name. Super thick and dense. I pulled lowers on the cola away from the stem to avoid the possibility of bud rot(see video) It smells like honey and berries... maybe a touch of grape in there. Super smooth smelling!! Can't wait to smoke it!!!!

day 8 - i think i might have a small issue. i think the ph level of the coco is a bit high, my runoff water is about 6.8, i really want to get the run off down to under 6.5 ... the coco might be a little bit too salty because its new the kush plant is yellowing, which im assuming is from overwatering. im going to not water my plants today and see how they take it. i watered heavily last night to try and flush out some more of the salts / lower the ph of the coco. i ordered a new light last night, the HLG320 4000k. i am tired of having to adjust the hlg65 and hlg135 seperately, so i figured might as well go with a light thats the full length of my tent. eventually, ill throw in an hlg320 3000k, have both turned way down, so during flower the coverage is very even. also, im debating getting my light turned down on the seedlings right now. now its around 30-35k lux, but i might have it turned down into 25k lux range for the day. i day 10 - a little bit of tacoing on charlottes #1 and cheese #2, turned down the light intensity by about 10%

Busy week getting the new setup going. GG is going really good has taken to training well. Expecting a bit of stretching off her in flowering. Can notice the sativa traits in her with more distance between nodes, and her slimmer sativa type leaves . Have noticed how sticky she's starting to get when training her, left with sticky resin coated fingers😋 she's a nice plant

It really is an extremely fast plant. I have hardly been able to keep up with the normal fertilization scheme, and it seems to be very hungry for CalMag. Despite the deficiencies, the result is surprisingly good.

This week all 3 Pheno continue to stretch, which likely will continue through end next week (week 4 flower). Fed girls Recharge prior to defoliation at the end of week. Day and night tent temperatures were constantly between 78F and 65F degrees. Relative humidity a consistent 55%. Using an online calculator found VPD range from day 1.48 (kPa) to 0.95 (kPa) at night. About as closed to optimum as one can get given existing equipment/tools and recent substantial rain in the SoCal region. Due for watering tomorrow, so prior to, I will top dress with worm castings, compost, and Langbeinite 0-0-22. I believe this should carry the 3 through to harvest. Breeder flower time listed is between 56 and 70 days. We are at day 20 flower as of today.

Heya growmies. She finally started stetching this week, unfortunatly in the middle of the week i dropped the fan on her AGAIN, and she broke and also lost a topside. Once again, the plant didn't seem to mind, it happened during dark period so its not caught on camera, you can barely tell when it happened on the timelapse.
