Week 11: Final Countdown Light Mold Issues: Despite careful management, I encountered some light mold issues on both plants. Fortunately, I discovered the mold spots early and was able to remove them without significant losses. This underscores the importance of vigilance during these final weeks. Tangie: Tangie’s buds continue to swell and mature beautifully. The aroma of fresh orange peels is more pronounced, and the smell is fantastic. While not as frosty with resin as Gorilla Cookies, Tangie makes up for it with her delightful scent. Currently, about 20% of the trichomes are still clear, with the rest turning cloudy. I'm aiming for all cloudy and very few amber trichomes to achieve an uplifting effect. Tangie will receive one more feeding with Finalpart before starting the flushing process. Gorilla Cookies: For Gorilla Cookies, I plan to feed her with Finalpart only one more time, and then it’s flushing time. The trichomes are mostly cloudy, with no amber trichomes yet. Unlike Tangie, Gorilla Cookies is covered in resin, with a strong skunky aroma that intensifies daily. Pest Management and Plant Health: The sticky traps have been effective in keeping thrips at bay, and there have been no new issues with aphids. Overall, both plants appear healthy and vibrant, showing no signs of stress as they approach harvest. Environmental Conditions: The weather remains hot but humid. While the plants are receiving less light on the balcony compared to the garden, this hasn’t significantly affected the ripening process. Having them on the balcony makes it much easier to monitor them daily, reducing the risk of mildew and significant losses. Final Thoughts: As harvest time approaches, I'm excited for the final results. Everything is prepared for harvest, and the weather will stay perfect for the last few days. I plan to give the plants as much time as needed to reach their full potential. Update 08.08 During my morning inspection, I found mildew on both plants. For the Gorilla Cookies, I had to remove some larger mold spots inside the buds. I carefully disassembled parts of the plant to ensure I didn’t miss any mold and ultimately decided to harvest it. Although I couldn’t let it fully ripen as planned, the trichomes were about 90% cloudy and 10% clear. That most be good enough. For Tangie, the compact and bushy growth led to some mold issues. I took the largest colas off and gave them a thorough inspection to make sure no mold was left behind. So far, I've harvested about 70% of the plant. Since most of the pistils on the remaining parts are still white, I'm giving them a bit more time to mature. I'll keep feeding with Finalpart at a slightly lower dosage and see if we can squeeze out a bit more potential from these final buds! Update 12.08: Final Countdown We’re almost there! Most of the trichomes are now cloudy, with a few amber ones starting to show up on the top buds—signaling that she’s nearly ready for harvest. Today, I gave her the final dose of Finalpart. I’m convinced that Finalpart has made a significant impact, boosting resin production and speeding up the ripening process. The buds are looking absolutely fantastic. Once the coco dries out, I’ll give her a thorough flush to eliminate any remaining minerals from the grow medium. I’m optimistic that this will further enhance the aroma and flavor, making the final product even more exceptional. Eva had a real good start in her week 6. The pre flower is doing and she looks great. Until … until the day where i saw the banana‘s. I am sad and it is hard for me to make the decision that the grow is now over for Eva and she Can no longer Continue. This week I topped each main cola at the 3rd node as usual and performed a selective defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow. From now on, I won’t be doing any more apical cuts. In a few days, I plan to introduce a scrog net to start guiding the branches and prepare for an even canopy 🌿💪

Flipped to flower as the tent was already quite full. The yellow/light green plant is still growing really awkwardly and stretches faster than any of the others. Noticed some spots on the plant that had issues in week 3, it's also getting lighter, so I started adding more fertilizer which I had laying around.

I don’t think I ever had white powdery mildew and I was just noid of every little dust particle that came around. All good. I’m now battling high temps as we don’t have central air and it’s mid 90s outside. Most likely about to buy an ac unit. LST seemed to go ok but we shall see. Overall very pleased w my results so far. Lots of rain here in the past week had to cover the crops ! These girls seems to getting fatty. I’m not really sure when to harvest.

They are moving quickly these days! I’m using FF nutrients, then just water, then a mixture of molasses, recharge, and epsom salt, and then water again. Not sure if I’m overdoing it but they seem happy.

Week three in flower 🤪 bud candy definitely getting great results from it. Highly recommend this product! Upped PH and dropped 10 degrees when light off.

The drying process lasted 14 days and I'm in the 2nd week of curing, I've already tried some buds and neither the smell nor the taste are great, the taste and smell of both phenotypes is lemon.
