Slight light burn on a couple plants had to raise the LED. On the off week Light seems to be allot more effective at civering the space although the plants did not take well to the spectrum/heat adjustment so the first two days i had to ween the light on a couple hours at a time. I could tell when they needed a break because they woukd physically get droopy once they got over whelmed eventually they got used to it tho!

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

A sleepy week for this young Orange Sherbet. She can't seem to pop out of that seed wrap, wondering if I should intervene. Tips are welcomed 🙏 Spent 36hrs in water, 36hrs in a paper towel, then 48hrs under the soil before popping her head up into the light. The light schedule I'm following is 20/4 under two 100w LEDs running around 80% at 650mm above the babies. They're receiving 150-200umol's at roughly 11-14 DLI. Organic medium and nutes so just watering in around 200mL of dechlorinated water at 6.6 pH per day. I figured I want to get this medium nice and moist for the microbes to thrive so I've been bottom watering 200mL extra every other day, with a gap day today as the pots are nice and weighty now. Welcome baby OS 🍊

Still trying to push them back to the box look like a jungle in real. The plants needs every day 2 x 10 l osmo water with 2 x 0,9 ml / l TA NovaMax Bloom.

This was a pretty good week. The buds of FBT2203 are looking great and are taking on some nice colors. It seems a little early for the fade so I made sure that this week I gave a little more nitrogen and Bloom nutes to help push these plants through another 3 or 4 weeks. Pictures are day 63 from seed and ending near the end of week 5.

I don't think much more will happen in case of Bud thiccness, just getting more ripe. But i hope im wrong, wouldn't mind if they get a little bit more swollen. Since im Colorblind i can't say for sure, but i think RG #1 is turning kinda Purple? RG #2 has still the biggest buds and starts to fade now. There are still a lot of white pistils and Trichomes are also not ready yet, still not milky and i surely want some amber in it also. So i guess at least another 2 weeks, mostly 3. Don't want to harvest them too early, they should have the time to get ready. This week they also got again 10ml of Bio PK, next week will be the last time, then only water for 2 weeks. Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The third autoflowering but certainly not in order of importance (where she would probably be the first) that we present to you is the Sticky Beast. Don't mess around with both the relatives Bubble gum and Og kush and in fact it is a strain that has won awards at cannabis cups. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the elves of Zamnesia and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we must admit that we have already grown it in the past and indeed there are some dear friends who will be very happy to smoke it again. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. These gals are doing fantastic! Smell is really starting to come out now, smells like a very strong citrus pine 👌🙌 Switched them to full strength flowering nutes and they're doing pretty well. I probably should have transitioned them a little earlier but a little stress doesn't hurt, they're growing just fine! Heat is also an issue but they'll manage 😅 8-4-18 :: Largest plant's bucket got empty on accident; Filled a 15gallon reservoir of full strength nutes and pumped the solution into the bucket as always. Next day my largest plant is dying and the other two are fine, looks like lockout. Flushed for a day and then added nutes, no improvement.. Orange pistils are appearing pretty fast on it too as if it's trying to ripen but not grow. My heart is broken😰 UPDATE: Realized I was an idiot and didn't plug up the holes I drilled into the top of the buckets (I stick a hose in there to fill them up) and the roots were exposed to light.
