Really great week for these girls! I'm very happy with the amount of early flower stretch I got out of the 2 larger girls. While the 'Little One' won't amount to much, the other 2 I'm really excited for the finish. I made a short video this morning to give ya'll a closer look. They got one feeding consisting of the Hydrolyzed Fish/Rose&Flowering/Molasses and then another feeding of just the Fish/Flowering this week.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. Día 71 (24/03) La planta lo ha pasado mal tras 2 días sin riego (casi 3 ciclos completos de 12 horas de luz sin riego...) A lo que se suma altas temperaturas en mi zona, han tenido 28 ºC durante las horas de luz... Las hojas inferiores se encuentran caidas y alguna quebradiza... Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

She's growing better now and starting to fill up. I was away so I gave her a decent watering and she spent the week unattended. Fortunately she didn't need attention during this period. I topped her just before I left.

DAY 65: Whelp, 8 weeks of shaming, abuse, experimentation, more shaming, and neglect-- the Lucky Charms plant is a f***ing female! Absolutely in-shock. I was so happy to learn she's a girl, but at the same moment was filled with so much regret, for how much better I could have treated this plant/how much larger I could have grown it. Just wow. So I took a clone cutting. It was a little small, but hopefully she takes because this plant is more resilient than a cockroach!! The White Widow plant is steady bushin' in the veg area with the little ones. I really love how short and stocky I've managed to get this plant through all the LST. Its starting to feel. like a bonsai tree. It has certainly earned its adulthood after the catastrophe it endured in Week-5. DAY 68: The re-potting of the Lucky Charms stunted its growth as expected, but its got a long way to stretch, so it should be able to utilize most of the new space. Itching to repot the White Widow. She's ready. Im just short on medium and space at the moment :/

What a difference a week makes. Feeding every watering (every 3rd day) Fox Farm Trio and seaweed. Running hot in the tent! 87 degrees during the day. Cooler weather is on the way. Anyone using CO2? I think to grow in the summer I’m going to have to use it. Most of the plants have shown a calmag deficiency but so far so good

Inicio da 4° semana vamos no dia 20 com muita força, adicionei agora ao plano de alimentação rinho skin e sensizym para limpar as raizes para pernanecerem brancas e engrossar os ramos strain vigorosa 100% indica estou a gostar Como da pra ver no video houve um pequeno acidente a fazer lst, uni onde rasgou e pus papel vegetal a volta a segurar bem, vamos ver se ela cura.. continua com boa cor e nao se foi abaixo nem uma vez! Esperar uns dias, se nao curar vou cortar e fica um top acidental kkk Ja curou o pequeno corte que tinha no ramo principal, decidi exprimentar fazer um supercrop, é a primeira vez espero que tudo de certo.. Em geral esta ser uma boa semana nada a apontar nestas meninas, a ir muito bem! 😏😁
