ve repotted into her final 15l auto pot. The procedure I used is as follows. Items needed.. Clay pebbles Hydro coco 60/40 clay pebbles/Coco. Silicium Flash Startrex Mycrotrex Bactrex And of course Bio tablets X2. 15l of hydro coco was mixed with 25g of Silicium Flash and 25g of Startrex. Mixed up well to form the main substrate. I filled the autopots to a depth of 5cm with clay pebbles and then layered up the amended substrate making a nice hole for my 300ml nursery pots. Into this hole I sprinkled in 5g of Mycrotrex and then dropped the seedling in. This then gets 2 biotabs pushed 5-8cm into the substrate and 1l of water mixed with 5ml of Bactrex I need to top feed the autopots for a couple of weeks so the root system can establish before I transfer to my flower room and the gravity feeding trays..🤘🏼👍🏼 I'm keeping temps at a constant 25c and lights are on 24hrs a day. Rh is sitting around 65%.it too low hence the domes but then it goes too high. I'm going to run a couple of days with the 65% but vpd over 1 is a bit high for so early.. we shall see. I'm more than happy with the purple punch. Considering when she was a sprout she grew out of her Coco plug and I found her flat on the floor...She is doing great. I'm a little concerned she is getting too much light. The others are all happy but punchy looks like she is a bit stumpy compared to the others. I've moved her to a side position in the tent so she gets a little less direct photons..

week intel: im felling in love with them everything is good . this week was time of second net layer , the first layer was for spreading the branches and doing LST now the second layer is for supporting branches for later weeks when the buds gain weight and gets heavy the net will hold branch stand up without benting. stresses: im just gonna cause a little E.C stress to raise the terpens. i found their max tolerance is 1.9 E.C so im not gonna reach or get close to that amount again and beside this wont cause any more streses untill week 6 that will do second pruning and we are done with trainings then. feeding: as always im feeding plants 3 times per week with nutrients , no plain water at all, just with nutrients with adjusted p.h at this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) and karbo about 950 ppm - 1.8 e.c to cause a little e.c stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose for start of Green House Feeding Booster around 267 ppm - 0.6 e.c alone cuz this bad boy is very strong. day 5 : i feed them with medium dose of Top-Max around 160 ppm - 0.3 e.c to let them recover the stresses and eat the previous nutrients untill next feed at next week and the next 2 days will rest and eat :D just remember never feed them plain water besides the first week of germination always feed water with nutrients to feed them right p.h every time and to avoid excess water problems, and let them eat the previous meal for 24 hours and dry the soil, so at total only feeding nutrients 3 times a week other days let them dry and rest

This girl seems to be doing very well and they probably will be finished in a3 o 4 week or so if crazy weather doesn't ruin everything a nice fruity and skunk smell to it as well is what she has developed and she starting to look pretty nice and heavy . It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Blackberry Moon Rocks are growing like crazy! Most of the leaves are a nice, deep green, but I noticed a few on one plant were a little yellow. I did some research and it sounds like they need some extra nutrients, so I'll be adding those in on the next watering. I can't wait to see how much bigger and bushier these beauties get.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Aaaaaargh :( Was trying another bloom booster this time and overlooked the fact, that the PK proportion was just too high at this stage for my nutrient solution to work well for the plant. I immediately changed the NS, but it took me a day to notice. Should have not only scaled the PK in the new NS, but the whole Ec for the better.

Vigorous plant (I avoid excessive defoliation). Despite a slight light stress last week, I quickly solved the problem and she recovered without any worries. It started its stretch and flowering well. I'm about to start Cal-Mag to support this!

She is still recovering after fixing the feeding regime and growing visually amazing flowers even though they are quite small. The smell is so unique…

One Bud was moldy where the other plants had no issues. This strain might me a little susceptible to mold. The Terps on this are very nice. Dark Grape with hints of lemon. Very Sticky and not very hard Trichome shells. maybe good for flower rosin or under cold contidions even for Hash Rosin.

Gorilla Glue, aka Gigi was easy to grow. She was short and stocky, only 21 inches. Her strong stems supported buds. She was the furthest from the lights and showed no cal-mag deficiency. While she drank the least water, she generally weighed heavy.

Dec. 4 - Week 9 begins. Dec. 6 - I removed some dead and dying leaves. Dec. 7 - Photo update. Dec. 10 - Timelapse uploaded. This poor girl, the sometimes infrequent waterings may yet be her demise. In the video after the plant droops the leaves come back much more yellow since they're being sacrificed for the greater good. I've been aware that plants do this for many years, but I think it's still pretty neat to watch happen over just a few seconds.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
