Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.

It was another good week for our ladies. Tote a or the biggest ones are almost done. There is a few amber heads on the trichomes. They smell pretty strong and are taking a gallon of water a day now. We are decreasing the nutes this week for these girls. I had over fed them a week ago so the discoloring was my fault but they look better this week and the leaves quit curling and dying. Tent a is under the mars hydro light. The girls got so top heavy I had to put a net up. Tote b or the second tent is flowering a few weeks behind tent a. It’s under a viperspectre light. This tote is also getting co2. I just want to see if it will add weight or flavor to the girls. My second diary I did in dirt and this run is just clones of that run but in water. Gotta find out what works and what don’t. I haven’t flowered any under this light yet also , so this will be a chance to see what it can do. Tote b is 2 plants of white widow. The one on the left is tiny compared to the one on right but the buds on it are huge for the size. It’s so cute looking. Tent 3 is also white widow. They are under a spiderfarmer light. We will flower them also under this light. So far it’s still vegging but the node spacing is super tight. Light is at 80% power. We are going to start training it and give her a hair cut this week before we flip it. All in all a good week. I tried to make a video after watching kittens and colas video. Well I thought for sure I was going to harvest a few days ago. Looks like it’s going to be one more week. Only getting pH water at this point and no nutrients. Starting to get a little color shift in the leaves but nothing crazy. Bud is dense and smells absolutely amazing. Slight bit of a Fox trail going on but not bad at all. Turns out I was very lazy and never raised my light up for 3 weeks and they were getting 1,000+ PAR at the tops for 18hrs a day. A few more days till she gets cut.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. I have been away for a week but thanks to my automated watering the plant had all the nutrients it needed. Well for the most part there were definitely a few yellowing fans leaves close to the bottom, which I think however was a result of underwatering due to being away and trying to water as less as possible

Hey ZAMNESIA has sent some more seeds to rock under the new lights X2 Vipraspectra lights 200watt total 400 watts These new lights (LEDS) where sent by Vipraspectra to upgrade me to newer LED lights with the sunlike full spectrum lights , the room is brighter no doubt and the spectrum of light outperformed the HPS running at 400watt the same running power as both LEDs . As you can see I'm already a fan of this light and I haven't even been running it under plants yet I've just had it on to see what the running temps where of the room and at 19oc does a pretty good job at keeping stable temps . I do plan on adding another P2000 in for flower The leds themselves run with 3000k 5000k warm white and cool white IR AND DEEP RED giving of a full spectrum of light , running there pretty bright and a recommended hanging height of 20inch , I've hung the lights at 5foot with the hps also and will not move my hanging height instead I'll start from 100% light and increase towards flower the amount of leds. These lights arent over expensive considering there dimmable with a great functioning dimmer switch, also I notice there built quality is superior in this category of lights and price, there solid heat sink is amazing giving the light a solid build finish the driver is mounted on the top but raised away from the board to maintain better heat dissipation from the driver and board . I didn't get out of the frist week and the timer failed so ZAMNESIA quite happily sent the same batch of seeds to start again with which is pretty class of them , big thank you These genicitis are top class 👏 I'm glad to be running them again as I do love gorilla glue they also have sent Runtz and GSC which in themselves are another couple of great strains with amazing genetic potential locked up in there seeds 😀 Started on 14-11-21 , I was planning on using hps along with this run but instead I'm gonna aquire a xs4000 from viparspectra 480watt and have the two p2000 hung at either end leaving us with 880watt LED grow ( will be insane) The seeds are all off to a great start but I'll always have great exceptions for this strains. The last time all 3 gorilla glue where frist above the soil , nows there a wide selection of strains growing and will be multiple plants also I ended up dropping 20 seeds I total 3 of them being the GLUE

Today is Day 50 !! We have started flower an they are just looking amazing! We have switched up the nutrients for flower, instead of 1 tsp bloom and 3 tsp of veg , we just swap 3 tsp of bloom and 1 tsp of veg !! Can’t wait to see what these laddies do this week!!

Hey all welcome to the first week of flower! So I was lucky enough to be home this week and feel blessed to have helped the lady’s through there transition to flower. The girls got a feed of both veg and flower nutes this week as the transition to flower. They have moved up to 3ltrs of water every second day as there must be a full 10 gal of roots now. The main worry we had was that the gold leave would out grow the indica dominant big buds and super skunks but so far the big bud is stretching the hardest out of them all (only by 2”’s) so the canopy really has needed no maintenance in the first week of flower. Lights are being lifted about a inch to 2 inches every day and all seams good there. If you have been following along the double feed a week is holding up well and no signs of nute burn. We did have a issue with Sulfur deficiency in big bud 4 it seams that some how her soil ph has again spiked up to around 7.3 so she was flushed out with correct ph water and then had a feed of nutes and Epsom salts to get her back in line. She has bounced back and now has green new growth not yellow. From this mornings empty of the de humidifier to taking photos about a hour ago the girls are all starting to make the tips of there buds and showing strong signs of flower on there tops. All plants had a solid run in with the snips and got there 7 day flower defoliation and will get the same around day 21 then left to do there thing.
