Great week 4 for my 2 lovely Papaya Sherbet

The Holidays caused a little headache this past week. Was a few hours late on water schedule due to holiday commitments. Found the middle plant had sucked all the water out and went into underwater stage. A few of the giant fan leaves took a hit, but not too bad. Didn't change anything other than water schedule to every day now and the leaves had no further damage/discoloration. All leaves still praying and doing good. Trichromes starting to pick up on all the plants now. Had a situation in my other tent with a plant that shouldn't have been saved, that i saved, and seems to have slightly hermied and I didn't catch it. Not terrible, as out of a 6 oz plant, I found 42 seeds. Hoping that tent doesn't effect this room, but it's possible it has. Just gonna ride it out now and see how it goes.

Third week in bloom. Everything is going well. My only concern is that I have defoliated too much and my humidity is too high. Difficult to get it down when it's just raining outside. I'll see what happens... 19.12.2023 I've made some space and flanged my old 60x60x120cm tent on the right site and switched on another PC fan. I hope I haven't made a serious mistake. All fans repositioned. And everything is taped off so that no light comes in. That was too crowded. Next time 4 or 5 will be enough for me.

On the start of week #6 for these fine ladies !! They are starting to put on some weight now this will be their last week with some Big Bud some Im really gonna pack it in there and then Im going to switch to Overdrive for the final stages of ripening ! Day 64: Started flushing the girls today. Got All milky and starting to go amber. Day 65: Still flushing. The girls smell amazing. I have one in the bunch that is SUPER airy and I am just not sure what is going on with her. It's the girl that I accidently broke off the main cola a while back. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Day 66: No new updates. Cut one of the colas off for a taste test and trial run on drying as this is my first go. Figure if I can dry this super dense beauty with no issue, I will be able to dry the rest. Have it hung up in the spare bathroom. Stays roughly 71° in our house and I'd say roughly 40%ish humidity. Day 67: Girls are smelling really nice! I keep looking at trich's and looks like no change. They are all cloudy and only a few amber from what I see. Still new to it so no tellin! Day 68: No updates. Day 69: Girls still looking good. My bud is still drying and looking super hideous. I feel it is drying slow enough but sure doesn't look or feel dense as it did when cut. Will know in several days to come when fully dry. Day 70: Girls smell dank and look the same! No new updates at this time.

Day 36 - Starting week 6 and she’s coming along nicely. Pistils are just starting to show so hopefully she’s be going into full flower in a week or two. This one is definitely a late bloomer but looking like I’m not gonna need flip to 12-12 to get her started. Day 37 - She’s still doing some stretching right now and has a few more pistils showing so I’m happy about that. She’s definitely getting light on the water so will probably give her a good drink and feeding tomorrow. Tucked a few leaves and letting her go for the night. Day 38 - Decided to hold off on watering and feeding for another day or two. She still didn’t seem quite dry enough to don’t want to push it. Re-tucked some leaves and will check things out tomorrow. Day 39 - Gave her a gallon of water and nutes today and she’s still stretching. Not much of buds forming yet but still tossing a few pistils out. I’m hoping she’s start throwing out some more or I might have to switch to 12-12. I thought I wasn’t going to have to but if she doesn’t start really preflowering by next week, I might have to. Day 40 - Went ahead and turned my second light on in the tent to try and get the temp up just a bit and it did the trick. I think this one is liking the other light cause I noticed quite a bit more pistils so again, I think I’m not gonna have to worry about flipping to 12-12. Tied a couple other branches down and out and opened her up a bit more. Day 41 - She’s looking great and really taking off now. Pistils are still showing and she’s stretching close to a half an inch every 24 hours. I did remove a few fan leaves and all the new branches I tied down are standing tall again. Will give her some water and nutes on Tuesday. Day 42 - The end of week 6 and she’s doing great. Nothing else new to report and just updating some pictures. She’ll get some water and nutes tomorrow.

Foxtailing - temp. 26-27°C Due to some watering issues last week we got some salt buildup. Drain Ph has risen to 6.6 and Ec peaked at 2.9 mS/cm This week I gave the plants more water and checked drain frequently. It went back down to 1.8 and Ph came down to 6.3.

Week 5 At the beginning of the week I set up and tested auto-pot system for 2 plants using the same reservoir of feed water. All connections work fine with no leaks, the floats are free moving and work as intended, I have air pumping into the reservoir and all connections are good there as well. I used black tubing for the feed lines and placed towels over he reservoirs to block out light from the water in the system. After all checks were made, I placed the plants in the pots and turned the system on. At the end of the week I had 3 new nodes of growth since the last topping, so I topped for the third time (4 cuts this week on the 4 set from last week and also removed the lowest). I now have 8 colas set. Feed this week was 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of training the colas to go where I want them to. I plan to train 6 to the outer ring and 2 to the inner ring. Once I have enough new growth I will set the tomato rings and possibly start wire training. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Week 11 (10-4 to 16-4) 10-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 52% (lowest) No pictures. Added 10L to the reservoir, and turned it on for a couple of minutes. 11-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 52% (lowest) 12-4 Temperature: 25.5 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 57% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. 13-4 Temperature: 26.5 degrees (lights on) 23 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 56% (lowest) 14-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Miss Dosido continued to dance her way through it. The Royal Queen Seeds Website said "it is one of the strongest auto flowers you can grow." The website also says that an outside grow could reach heights of 140 cm which is 55 inches. We are only at 30 inches, but I will accept part of the blame because I used Miracle Grow for its nutrient--I also blame the weather. If you have followed me and read my weather reports, you will agree that hail and 100 degree temperatures are very hard to grow in. LOL. Like I said last week, I stopped using Miracle Grow and started to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow. I am hoping that these nutrients will boost her bud growth even if she is a tad on the shorter side. In addition, Royal Queen Seeds website said Miss Dosido should be ready to take down in 9-10 weeks from germination. She still has some time to perform. 1st week has been OK. Not really much to report on. This plant is where I would expect it to be at this stage. Fan controller set so max temp should be 26deg and max humidity 80% Day 1 did nothing Day 2 did nothing Day 3 did nothing Day 4 rigged up autofeed system and watered this weeks nutes. Day 5 autofeed this weeks nutes. Day 6 did nothing, 113ppfd 7.3 dli Day 7 increased mars ts1000 power. 161ppfd 10.4dli. Back in a week. Take it easy.

Growing nice dark devil Growing bigger and faster then the rest of the tent light watering when dry with Ph tap water

It's a quite jungle, but I like it wild. New tent is postponed to next week, I really need it though, those plants would appreciate getting their artificial sun dose, instead tryingto push through the roof. Tried another way to take photos, but until we get more room, they're gonna be whatever.. Light schedule is still 13 hours, I should probably change it to 12 soon, though target is still one month and then reduction to 12 h. Nothing got topped this time, maybe I should've, but the new tent will bring some workaround room. I'm still trying to understand the plant behavior and their limits.
