Welcome back to week 3 of this grow diary! Just like the other plant this one is unfortunately presenting with an interveinal chlorosis and also at the end of the week it started developing some brown spots mainly at the leave edges. I’m not really sure what’s going on but I suspect it’s a magnesium deficiency that’s the only thing making sense to me. I had slight problems with adjusting my watering volume and frequency to this new substrate. I overwatered a bit last week because the substrate apparently has a higher water holding capacity. Immediate actions: Less watering, corrugated cardboard under planters for insulation from cold tiles, checked soil PH (slurry test), ordered Epsom salt (should take about a week to arrive) for foliar application. I’m pondering flushing the substrate so that I can be sure it’s not caused by excess of other nutrients and lockout. But since I noticed that the substrate holds water a little bit to well for my taste this could also backfire and further worsen symptoms. Unsure on how to proceed, guess I’ll have to wait for the Epsom salt and try if a foliar spray improves the status of my plants :( Let me know if you have any input on the matter!

Last big shot of orgatrex+bactrex done, now first watering and spraying with PK Booster Compost Tea (15g/L) + Orgatrex (5mL/L) +Bactrex (1g/L). 2 retarded plants seem to finally flower, so I removed all stunted leaves and I'll keep them on vegetation feeding with boom boom spray for the moment (one of them is huge, will have to move it out of the tent or cut it a bit). The 4 others are fine : there are 2 phenos (2 plants are small with big short buds and 2 others are tall with long thin buds). 2nd ever grow and first time using Fastbuds genetics. I'm running 3x Six Shooter, 2x Pineapple Express and 1x Crystal Meth. I'll be starting diaries shortly for the other 2 strains as I'm hoping that these plants might be good enough to enter in diary of the month competition. I was supposed to be going with 3x Shooter and 3x Pinapple express but unfortunately even though I germinated 4 of each, only 50% of my seeds sprouted. I know theres only 2 six shooter in the photo but a friend of mine has one spare from a batch hes germinated so has kindly given it to me. The Crystal meth was a free gift seed so I'm running that in place of the dud pineapple seed. I've put them in a little 1x1x1 veg box that I built this weekend. Made it to fit alongside my larger tent. Plan for these girls is to veg them in the box for 3 weeks under the cheap 300w LED with plenty of co2 then move them to the bigger tent where I have 4x 315w CMH lamps. All 3 will be topped and if I have space will go under a scrog. They are actually only 4 days old since sprouting but I do all of my diaries on a Sunday as I get chilled early and have time to take photos and do weekly reports. See you guys next week!

English The first video was taken 2 days after the lollipopping/defoliation day, the rest on the last day of week 6. Towards the end of week 6, the ladies showed a few symptoms of light stress, which is why I increased the distance to the lamp to 45 cm and since then things have been running optimally again. However, I think I will continue to veg for another 1-2 weeks and only then switch to 12/12. Ich denke, ich werde jedoch noch 1–2 Wochen weiter Vegen und erst dann auf 12/12 wechseln.

The Strawberry Gorilla has officially entered her first week of flowering and is looking extremely promising. Every branch is developing strong flower sites, and the amount of branching makes her look like she could become a very productive plant. I continued with some light LST this week to keep the canopy open and evenly distributed. I also gave her a fairly thorough defoliation, especially through the inner growth, to improve light penetration and airflow. The structure is exactly where I wanted it to be going into flower, with plenty of well-developed tops and good spacing between them. From here on, I’m mostly going to leave her alone and let her do her thing.

Okkkkkkkay, i fucked up a little over the past weeks but sometimes keeping everything together is hard. But I managed to fix her, fresh water change, new nutrients and new Training so she can spread a little wider and also gave her a little trim. So pH is 5.5-5.8 DLI is at 30. i wanted to turn it down a little because she was looking really sad. but she is finally recovering, new growth is a nice green color. Having her this long in veg is really weird haha

My three Bubble OG plants are looking fantastic, especially that tallest one! It's reaching for the sky and makes me think the others might have a little sibling rivalry going on. I can't wait to see how huge it gets.

Flower are starting to smell very citrusy and are starting to stack buds. Looks like the stretch isn't leggy and the plant is stsying nice and compact

We’re deep into Week 8, and Blue Banana Cream is stacking up beautifully. Trichomes are looking frosty, covering the buds in a thick, sticky layer—definitely a strain that’s going to shine post-cure. It rained steadily today so my watering duty was taken care of by Mother Nature! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her along with spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap seems to have taken care of the attacks on her leaves which has improved her vigor noticeably. 5/27- I watered the GG4 Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches, preparing them to start spreading out through the trellis net. 5/29- Wow, two months ago this little lady broke ground and look at her now! I cannot wait to see how she'll be looking in another two months! I'll be getting ready to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days with some 4-4-4 and worm castings, then she'll really start to take off!
