16.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! Well this has certainly been a fun one! Really pleased with how she turned out, when I cut her down, it was actually heavy. I'll be interested to see what we yielded here! I did take all of the fan leaves off and some of the sugar leaves too. Just to make the trimming easier, and also help prevent mould during the drying process. The trichomes were very hard for me to tell, but they have quite a lot of amber. So I may have grown some sleeping potion. We will soon find out I guess! 😅 I decided to leave the plant longer than I usually would, I did this to see the difference in effects. This is a low THC strain, so in theory shouldn't produce a couch lock effect. So if it does, it will give me a better idea of the harvest windows. Some of you helped choose this strain to grow, so if you've followed along, I hope you enjoyed this journey. Great hardy plants growing great together the banana runtz has been producing huge fan leaves and nice buds allready after week two done .. The tropicannacookies has been just bushing right and has my tent smelling like oranges or tangerines it's crazy how good she smells .. Weather was better than before. A couple of sunny and warmer days. Installed the lights with the timer in order to support a 16/8 light cycle with a 1 minute burst of light every two hours at night. Mid week i transplanted them, super happy about that. Cover crop looks great. The placeholder pots have been filled with horsetail, alfalfa, bokashi and worms. Cleared them out to use it as mulch on top. Watered them in with fresh brewed vermicompost tea. The Jamaican Dream CBD will later move into the garden, so the roots can connect with the soil through the bottom of the bag. Plants looking great by the end of week, but still in flower.... started a new run for back up and a friend of mine would give me some very nice seedlings and clones if things go wrong.
