Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Older leaves turning indicated magnesium deficiency, but I don’t care, because maybe in my super soil mix is too high phosphorus wich one block little bit magnesium. I keeping oldest leaves on, and it’s do support with nutrients for younger. I am happy and very waiting for finale results….💚

Day 55 of flowering, just switched to Finalpart/Ripen yesterday. Still cruising, no major issues. Most of the buds are quite dense, and when I squeeze them slightly they smell of strawberries, I fucking love that! Soo excited for this to finish up.

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. This particular strain, as well as my RQS Fat bananas, have been an absolute dream to grow. They take training like they're craving it. 😍 Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 😃💚✌️🍃😊

Well, as it's been 8 full weeks now it's time to change to flora, today the 24th of July 2023 I'm changing the time from vega to flora so they will take 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness thus starting the flowering phase, today I should have watered with top bloom from top crop but it ended up that I watered only with water and I'll wait for the next watering I'll already water with top bloom from top crop and let's see what these beautiful girls do, I was going to leave another time in vega another two weeks apparently i'm going to move so i don't know if i'm going to have much time left in this house so i'm going to take advantage of the time i have and already putting them to bloom

420Fastbuds-Week 6 Gelato Auto What up grow fam. Weekly update on these 3 beautiful 😍 ladies. They got moved over to the flower tent this week. Temperatures have gone up tremendously since it seems summer weather has finally got here. Over all they seem to be handling it, OK. Showing some heat stress but I think it's just an adjustment period. I'll most likely do a defoliation this week thinning it out to allow more air flow. All in all Happy Growing

(This week has pics from weeks 2 and 3 because I couldn’t edit past weeks and had more photos. Future weeks will be correct) LST is well underway - pulling the main stalks back from the light to keep the canopy flat. The glueberry is growing much larger/faster than the amnesia haze. The glueberry is also showing some copper tips so we may skip the nutrients for the next watering and see how that develops. The glueberry is 20 cm from the light but still no signs of heat stress (from what I can tel) despite the hot weather.

Gelato 33 — Harvest Report This week marks the end of a very successful run with Gelato 33. After monitoring the trichomes closely, the plant was taken down at the perfect moment: cloudy trichomes with a touch of amber, signalling peak cannabinoid and terpene expression. ⸻ 🔬 Trichome & Maturity Check • ~80–85% cloudy • ~10–15% amber • Very few clear trichomes Ideal for a strong, balanced hybrid effect without losing freshness. ⸻ 🌿 Bud Characteristics Gelato 33 showed all the classic traits: • Dense medium-size buds • Thick resin coating • Long, orange pistils • Beautiful purple/green tones depending on the cola • Extremely sticky during trimming Aroma exploded during harvest: Sweet, creamy dessert notes + earthy gas. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest Processing • Light wet-trim (fan leaves only) • Whole plant hung upside down for a slow dry • Branch spacing maintained for airflow This ensures maximum terpene preservation. ⸻ 🌬️ Drying Conditions • Temperature: 18–19°C • Humidity: 52–55% • Airflow: indirect, very gentle • Total planned drying time: 10–14 days ⸻ ⚖️ Yield Wet weight from trimming photo: ➡️ 586 g (wet) Final dry weight will be updated after curing. ⸻ General Impression of the Strain Gelato 33 proved to be: • Stable • Highly resinous • Resistant to stress & mold • Strong smell but controllable Definitely a keeper-worthy phenotype.

Firstly, I apologize for the lack of solid pictures! It was admittedly the last thing on my mind when harvesting, so Ive got what I’ve got haha. This has been my problem child plant from the start-albeit that had more to do with my mistakes than anything else! From the jump the one thing this strain has shown me is that it is hearty & resistant! Early on I accidentally split the stem when topping, she was stunted for awhile but came back in full effect and produced some of the largest buds this harvest! Despite frequent overwatering and humidity issues there was no sign of any rot, mold, or mildew. Overall a very strong forgiving strain that I would recommend to beginner and master growers alike! This strain required frequent defoliation. Thanks to the ScrOG method, I was able to develop an even canopy with very large, dense colas. After a full dry and trim I was very pleased with the yield, one plant netted 4.13 ounces. This plant combined with the other 3 plants/strains in the tent helped me net a total dried & trimmed 17.94 ounces! This is the first time I have ever cleared a pound, so very pleased with this harvest overall. Thank you to everyone for your comments, suggestions, and support along the way! I also topped her at the beginning of the week. These photos are from when I topped I couldn't get any pictures done at the end of the week. She took the topping nice and is growing fast. Unfortunately this is her last week in veg, next week I flip to 12/12 because all the other ladies are ready. Stay tuned for updates on this little one. As stated above i have grown this pheno several times before. She never lets down when it comes to the way she grows, yield and quality of the end product. There is a reason why i safed her. Really happy with that one.

Seems Strawberry will stretch a bit and C-Vibez ) started producing budsites. Trying to lighty defoliate this week and focus on reducing nutrients cause ppm runoff is 1000. I realized this week as I am using RO water I need to supplement more calcium/ magnesium and as all plants were transplanted from BioBizz Lightmix to BioBizz Allmix they all have lot of nutrients in soil. I will just sprinkle a little bit of epsom salt , add low amount of calmag to water with very low amount of REMO nutrients, pH to 6.2 and that is it. Usually I used much lower REMO or BioBizz dosages based on my feeling but then my last diary ( 4 Dutch passion) I had very bad grow. Those 4 plants were transplanted to soil from previous grow ( BioBizz Lightmix + Allmix) to big pots as seedlings so it was hard to measure runoff and ppm of soil spec earlier in the veg. So for this grow my mindset was to follow the charts as much as possible so after 4 weeks of seedling phase in BioBizz Lightmix I transplanted into 18 L AllMix and also started feeding remo in lower dosage but proceeded to increase dosage to remo schedule dosage in a month of veg. I will try to water till runoff and measure to not make same stupid mistakes. Also soon I will be trying Dogma Organic SuperSoil and I will try to compare same genetics in soil with nutrients, dwc and supersoil. My understanding is that using straight RO water in living soil can be problematic so I will keep in mind that factor. My RO filter on the tap has mineralization it comes out 50 ppm. Clones will soon be ready for transplant, I am planning to keep only few alive as I will not have space for all of them, both tents will be available for flower of these clones in around 2 months so plan is to veg few of them in soil and two of them in my DWC setup until Flower tents are ready.
