Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Weekly Update on the Runtz 🌱 Hey everyone! Just wanted to share how the Runtz is coming along. She's thriving under the care of the Plagron nutrients 🌿, reacting beautifully to every feed. Another week has stared and thease girls are monsters! The Gummiebears is in a 4 gal pot and is 41 inches tall ( 52 from the floor ) and is outgrowing the tent ( who says you shouldn't too autos? Lmao ) and as you can see the other 3 are in 1.5 gallon pots and are monsters as well .. if I don't pull 20-24 ounces this run I will be surprised honestly.. side note.. I cut the 2 lines branches early on from the Cream auto and put them in a vase for 2 weeks and they rooted so I stuck them both in the same little container and they have settled in nicely as I see new growth daily.. it's gonna yeild me an additional half ounce possibly? Still stretching out them girls are , hope they are almost done 😬.. I think the stretch is pretty well done and my 4x4 tent is full of bud sites wow this is gonna be a great finish I think🤘👌 I took my hps of the hangers and attached it directly to the top of the tent for more room . I have the cool tube hps.with lots of air flow so it doesn't get very hot.

Had to Switch them a little bit bc of the stretch. The purple chemdawgs are now the ones in the front right and in the back left.

Adding week 4, as I had it in "germination" in the diary a week too long. Brings it in line with it's size/maturity. Messed up my lighting for 48ish hours, left on 24hrs a day, due to flip flopping on going to flower.

week 4 bloom started! stable pH, always around 6 The girls are well asking for a lot of nutes, every day the EC level drops by 0.2 but even more, cleaned the tank and filled it with new nutes Now I follow the ADV table with an addition🤣 Sensi Bloom A and B 5mL instead of 4mL💣📈 last slight defoliation, I did not want to do it but they are really tight in there, I only take off the minimum, hope the girls explode this week🍀🍀🍀 Any feedback is welcome, criticism, advice, everything is needed here 💥 Update: 3 days later EC from 3.0 to 2.6 pH 6.0 Seems all good 🤞🍀

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Das Ergebnis ist meiner Meinung nach das bisher beste mit Autos. Ich sehe beim Harzbesatz und dem Aroma des ersten Tests im Vaporizer eine andere Qualität dieser Mephisto Züchtung im Vergleich mit anderen Versuchen mit Autos letztes Jahr. Die Blüten sind sehr kompakt und mit Trichomen überzogen. Das High ist echt nice, nicht zu Doll verklatschend (Haze), mild süß im Geschmack. Eine gute Wahl für tagsüber oder bei Aktivitäten. Der Plan mit dieser Genetik leckeres und potentes Sativa Kraut auf dem Balkon sicher über die Ziellinie zu bekommen bevor es kälter und dunkler wird hat gut geklappt.

Week 12 done and dusted!! Week 4 of flower!! 🌸 There's been some more movement and stretching and the canopy has now taken shape and the top bud sites are positioned, developing and ready for the post stretch period. The home straight isn't far away now!! 🌱🌲 Just top dressed them with some mycoboost then next week I'll start with the Bloom2 and I'll probably add some guano as an extra boost!! 🦇 May give them one last defoliation next week to clear some of the fan leaves!! ✂️ Catch you next week for another update!! 🍋🍇🤙

I had to kill one of my photoperiod plants because it was hermie so I decided to move the FBTO1 and FBTO13 into the room with them since I had space in there. So now they are on 12 hour light and they seem to be much happier with the environment. This will be my first time flowering autos on 12 hours so curious to see how they do. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxigro .25 tsp armor si .25 tsp calimagic .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week and staying safe. It was a nice week for the Glueberry OG as she grew to her 7th node on day 26 and I just popped off number 7 gently so she will end up with 10 main chutes from 5 nodes as i also removed the bottom node which typically is larfy popcorn buds. If she had not reached node number 7 by day 28ish I would have just topped her above the 5th node as I have had great yields that way as well. Dutch Passion says she takes 11-12 weeks but autos usually start preflowering/flowering between days 28-35 depending on strain so I try to complete all toppings by day 28 or so with autos because if you top them after they start to flower they will suffer. I have topped above the 3rd (for mainlines and mainifolds) as well as the 4th, 5th, and 6th with great results from each. As a general rule, the longer the autoflower is expected to take, the higher up I top her as she will have more time for more colas to develop. Some people think that topping stunts an autoflower, however as long as you allow her to grow a nice ball of roots and she is healthy, it only stunts mine for about 30-45 seconds. Glueberry OG Auto is absolutely loving this Medic Grow light so far, and I am super impressed with how tight she is keeping the nodes. I am running on 60% power in the V1 or vegetative blue stage. I will start working the UV/IR Spectrum into the mix as soon as my 2 seedlings go into coco coir and can handle some more light. The Glueberry OG Auto is currently 6 inches tall and was topped above her 6th node, and since the first node doesn't start until 2.5 inches from the coco, that is a tight group! I will start LST tomorrow on the two top mains, as it has only been 48 hours since topping and they are growing fast. I see alot of growers tie down their entire plant to the ground for LST and that is ok but not beneficial imo. My goal is to keep her nodes tight, and then just LST the mains from the uppermost nodes, as to allow the lower nodes to catch up., while I typically clip the bottom most node as she typically only produces larfy popcorn buds. These are certainly usable for bubble hash/edibles/cannasugar etc. but they do drain some energy from your top shelf colas. The goal of LST should be an even canopy as to minimize apical dominance. This will allow the plant to better utilize the existing light and limit wasted light that converts to heat. Tying a plant down restricts the airflow from the plant and impedes the growth of the lower mains. LST does not require pinning a plant down to the ground with staples, and although a cannabis plant will bounce back from this, it certainly will not reach its full potential. As far as nutrients go, I feed veg nutrients until my auto is almost done stretching then I transition to full flower nutes over about a 6 day period. The only exception is if my plant is growing out of control and I am unable to slow it down through topping, LST, super-cropping, etc. At this point I would make the switch to flower nutes slightly sooner. So she will be feeding on silica, cal mag, and veg nutes for at least a few more weeks here and just some LST. Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!
