[This is a beginner's journey to grow a Blue Dream plant outdoors, from seed, for the very first time. I added 3 clones in week 7, and I will include their progress, but each week this journey will feature Foster, the Blue Dream. Thanks for joining me as I learn to grow outdoor cannabis in the beautiful Willamette Valley.] Foster is doing very well this week. At the recommendation of my local organics shop, I've switched my nutrients from Fox Farms (Big Bloom & Grow Big) over to GreenGro's Nature's Pride veg nutrients (info here: http://www.thegreengro.com/product/veg-6-3-3-5/). It's a powder, and I'm feeding 14ml/gal (or, since she's in a 45 gallon pot, 630ml) as a top dressing once/week. I really like the nutrients--it includes mycorrhizae. I will also add a microbial compost tea next Friday at feeding. The Nature's Pride nutrients are a bit more expensive than the Fox Farm nutrients I was working with, but the folks at my organics shop have the plant science background, and its what they use, so I'm going to track the results in the coming weeks. At any rate, It's been a very hot, windy, and humid week in Western Oregon, and she's been drinking nearly 2 gallons/day. New growth looks very healthy, and the sites where I've topped are growing 2 new vibrant colas.

🌿 Week 6: Explosive Side Growth & The Recovery Phase Strain: Sticky Broccoli Auto 🥦 Stage: Late Vegetation / Pre-Flowering Light Cycle: 18/6 📝 The General Vibe The "Sticky Broccoli" is really starting to live up to its name not because of the resin yet, but because she’s bushing out like crazy! After pinning the main terminal down last week, the side branches have officially taken over. Despite my shoulder injury, the garden is thriving, proving that a little bit of LST goes a long way. 🍽️ The Menu (Nutrients) Still staying consistent with the Plagron and BioBizz regimen. Root-Juice: 3ml (Finalizing the root base) Bio-Grow: 2ml (Supporting the leafy explosion) Bio-Down: 1ml (Keeping that pH stable around 5.9 for the coco mix) Observations: The redistribution of auxins worked perfectly. I now have 4-6 secondary tops that are all competing to be the new main lead. The stem is thickening up nicely, and I’m starting to see the first signs of "pre-flower" pistils. 👽 Final Thoughts Gardening with one hand was a workout, but seeing these results makes it worth it. The "Kewpie" Garden Managers are still on duty and seem happy with the progress. Next week, I expect a significant vertical stretch as she prepares to flower!

Week 6 started yesterday, July 11. Final step for bruce banner is now done!!! A little sloppy but whatever, lol. I'm still learning and definitely having fun 🍀😎😁👍✌️ UPDATE: July 14th, did some tie down/guiding on the sky og. Also the bruce banner is still a few days from that step but is doing quite well. Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. slow start for the gorilla glue family (gorilla glue auto and the strawberry glue), the wedding cake from Barneys farms started surprisingly flowering after 3 weeks! :D The wedding and all others needed a lot of defoliating but now the wedding has slowed the growth on the leaves and focussed on stretching for some nice strength to the dense buds its growing :D Every other day the strawberry and gorilla need defoliating to stop the bud sites being covered.

Hey everyone 😃. This week she has done great 👍. It was done again on all the drifted topping and sprayed one last time with neem oil so that the last trips are finally gone 😁. We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water. GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. * ************** Week 6 - May 16 to 22, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination **************** * Calling this week a flower week but it is certainly more of transition week. Been battling a busy life along with pH issues this grow. Starting to get both under control😃 Not sure what is up with the pH but running through some 5.5pH feeds to help keep it in mid to low 6 range. She started to feed more this week, her pot drying out quicker. Wanting to get the pH in line as I want to be giving her 6.1 feeds right now. This girl has stayed in the fabric pot while two other girls were transplanted to plastic pots to help with the pH. I suspect the issue is around these fabric pots?? I have cut two large slits in the bottom of the pot to let the excess moisture run out easily and not allow it to sit in the bottom. It felt like there was some slowness in grow at the middle of the week so reviewed the fresh air and ensure circulation is flowing properly. She is really wide in structure and slower growing vertically. By the end of the week she was looking wonderful for the end of flower. Her size is perfect and will be starting a stretch soon. She has been getting silica so its time to get her branches pulled out while they still bend easily. LST was done in the middle of the week. Started the introduction of Rezin and Terpinator now to her feed. Little more detail....... May 16/20 - Day 36 - 2L feed - Velokelp, Rezin @ 2ml, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight @ 1ml, Massive @ 3ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - 1000ppm and 4.5pH. - She took all the feed today without runoff. She is getting hungry - she is taking her time perking up. - funny,,,,,,she looks like LST has been done to her but its just her growth May 17/20 - Day 37 - 2L feed - Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml Rezin, L. Weight, CalMag @ 1ml Massive @ 2.5ml - 1050ppm and 5.5 pH going in. - She seems to be forming a good root ball......it takes over two lites to get runoff now. - still working on her buds....pistols are there. - Pulled a couple of the large fan leaves at second node from the top....blocking too much light now. May 18/20 - Day 38 - 3L feed - Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel, Rezin, L. Weight, Vitathrive @ 1.5ml Massive @ 3ml - 850ppm and 5.7pH - run off numbers: 490ppm and 6.1pH ———- perfect!! - LST done today and side branches pulled down. May 19/20 - Day 39 - Dry out day - standing up today and reacted well to stripping and training yesterday May 20/20 - Day 40 - 2L feed - CalMag, Sensyzime, Rhino @ 1.5ml Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 650ppm and pH 6.1 - Pots were light today when lifted so she is eating well, also the slit in the bottom of the pot helps to dry out faster Many 21/20 - Day 41 - 1.5L feed - Rezin and Terpinator @ 1.5ml = 160ppm and 5.7pH - she is doing good, just not going crazy....hmmmmm - increased fan speed to ensure good circulation May 22/20 - Day 42 - dry out day - she is trying to set her buds but they still are not quite there - She’s a wide girl.....LST working - She darker but not a big concern. So we are at the end of week 6. I sure don’t see her being done in two weeks......suspect will be looking at 70 day range at least.

Last full week till Harvest,plants are very solid and smell so fruity😍. Can't wait till next cycle to do better! NOTE: I usually start counting days from the first couple of serrated leaves

The plant is doing well overall this week! 💪 To handle a few fungus gnats that started showing up, I introduced nematodes into the soil and placed some yellow sticky traps, seems to be keeping things under control so far. She's growing quite tall now, definitely stretching up nicely, but not really filling out much in width. A true lemony skyscraper in the tent!😂💚
