Our Test #4 have just been revealed to the public with the name of Slurricane, a genetics with a full Californian style. Our Slurricane have germinated at the speed of light, I put one first that you see big now that it will be worked with the topping x16 buds and another small one just germinated, freed from the placenta and beautiful as ever. Let's learn to solve placenta problems, if the plant remains too long in the condition you see in the photo it dies or gets permanently damaged it is essential to recognize this problem just in time and solve it with the utmost delicacy. Just remove it being careful not to remove the plant from the soil by stretching it delicately and/or helping yourself with something precise to remove it from the cotyledons and let the leaves open as you can see in the following photos. When the seed remains attached it is nice to take photos and reels, very cute but do it quickly and remove the placenta with the utmost delicacy you can in short. It always happens so learn to do it it is not an enthetic defect I recommend not to confuse things, it happens in percentage to the plants that you do to me at 2/4 out of 20/25 seeds more or less. We do not let them die it is a small skill to have though. Welcome to my Tropical Tangie From Dutch-Passion. This update is all pics I had for flowering phase. Sadly a lot of time was missed, (pics/videos) and such, as family stuff hit this crop, I just finished off the last of the puff this week. So, I have her taste and qualities fresh in my mind. So, stay tuned as full harvest & smoke review coming in the next day or two. Took a little over 8 weeks to flower. 60 days. Pre Flower she didn't really stretch so she'd be a ringer for a good SOG. The plant started to develop a lovely tangie smell early. I hit her with a the SE5000 and was at the edge. Picking up a lovely shape. The buds started to develop really nicely. Swollen calyexs, with fuzzy tops, dripping in shiny glistening trichomes. Was HST'ed early into the flowering phase. Knowing that HST works best after PRE flower has ended im sure id of gotten bigger buds. But what I did get was 21 grams of premium A grade HomeGrown. (More 2 come on that topic) Really happy with this girl and her strenghts. As a lot of my crop suffered from light exhaustion. Co2 was kept steady and the process of ppfd intake was really high and not enough co2 which led to the plant eating the very thing needed to push your plants, sugars, co2, light. And the ppfd was been kept up but sadly the co2 was not. But, she pushed through it the best out of the bunch. Hitting highs of 35c. Brought it down to 28 the last 10 days or so and cut the ppfd in half and dropped and extra co2. She ate all the Fungi in the pot, and was a happy lady. As you might be able to tell. I'm talking about this girl in the past tents, and that is because this girl and her whole 21grams got 1.5 months cure. I was smoking it upon curing also. Defo one of the best tangie puffs I've had in a long time. Brief flowering phase(s) reviews: Total time 90 days. 9 clones taken, but sadly I had to ditch that plan. I HST'ed this girl just as she was moving into pre flower. And was a very hardy girl. Drenched in sticky trichones she glistened under the light during late flowering period. Will defo be doing a SOG as she hardly stretched at all during pre flower probably 8cm, and there was a big swing in lights on/off 35c / 23c. Very easy girl to maintain and very hardy to harsh conditions. Thanks to Spider-Farmer for providing the light and to dutch for allowing me to try this baby. As I said. Harvest and puff review coming soon. She isn't a house stinker. So, some light air cleaning with an air filter and you'll be golden. But, don't be but off by this. As she'll be a stinker upon finishing or at least doing 4 weeks of curing. (More in the harvest update coming soon). 90 days + 48hr dark rest and 10 days drying at 19c and 70% rh. (Gen not my ideal conditions for drying but done 3 of my girls this way, and they're probably my best dried plants ever. No bush whack smell (hay smell).. some very nice bud that grinds a treat. Takes a little longer to dry but no dropping the RH, it must of been the steady conditions that made them some good owl phenos.. Thanks for your views and so on. The two surviving Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants develop well after they were planted in soil. The first pot is very small (0,25 l) and only a little watering is necessary now. As you can see in the pics the roots grow VERY WELL with the Voodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients.

In the second week the plant has now started to produce its first set of single bladed leafs.

SUNDAY 4/28: I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking. The two remaining colas on the good one in the big tent (the one I had to chop off 5 big potential colas) is really starting to bud up now. She'll make a pair of 10" colas. The bigger one in the small tent still has the big curl going on with her leaves..doubt they straighten up. The new growth looks more normal, but still I'm sure the problem was that the soil was just too compacted for her roots to flourish. I'll continue prodding and poking with a skewer to loosen the soil and get oxygen to the roots. The smaller, daintier one that I had to remove a couple branches from is stretching her remaining branches now and starting to put on the pistils. Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got them sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 I did a little video today and I'll take a few "glamour shots" tomorrow. MONDAY: I think I phuktup the PH again because they are getting fed everything they need and still showing signs of various deficiencies. I douched everybody with 1/3 gallon including some boomerang, calimag, bembe, bud candy, and terpinator. No time for glamour shots... TUESDAY: I was busy again today, so no glamour shots.. WEDNESDAY: I did a little training today and finally got around to taking some good photos.😎 A couple of plants in the tent, adjacent to one another, suddenly got crispy leaves..(contagion?) THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden... I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it?? Not sure...but it's sad..they're all gonna be less than photogenic for the finish... FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH. I moved a lesser plant into the small tent and a better Candesia into the big tent.

Semana tranquila. Algunas hojas inferiores se están poniendo amarillas por falta de luz. Este cultivo decidí no quitar hojas y dejar que las plantas tuvieran el mínimo de estrés, por lo tanto las hojas inferiores no reciben luz. Las flores han aumentado bastante de tamaño y ya comienza a oler bastante rico el cuarto. Están consumiendo prácticamente dos litros de líquido al día. Buenos humos para todos!

They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. It's prolly the wife's favorite flavor, so I gotta grow a little every season... Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 9/10 Potency: 8/10 Yield: 6/10 Bag-appeal: 8/10 Ease of growing: 3/10

Day 74 and there getting chopped today! I thought the harvest was going to be broken into two separate weeks considering the times on the Choco was listed about 7-10 days sooner then the DD (wich was listed at 70 days for flowering) However looking at the tricombs on the Chocolate Marshmallow most pheno didnt start getting amber untill the DDs did as well! A couple DD pheno could have maybe gone a couple more days but we will see! Going for reveg on all the pheno, since i didnt get to take any clones. We will see how it goes!

Welcome to week 21 of my grow diary. As the temperatures are rather average to cold, the soil stays moist for a long time. I have reduced the watering quantity to 5 litres every 3 days. The humidity rises a lot at night, so the plant is now spending the night in the garage. The smell is now super penetrating and you can smell the plant over several meters. See you next week ✌️

This beautiful lady is getting huge and those nuggets are so dense they are so Frosty she is going to provide some wonderful rosin yeah yeah she's almost ready maybe two more weeks

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. The plant is doing fine, the light has been a bit to close to some buds so light bleaching appeared (Light is raised) Getting close to harvest and the plant smells really sour and citrussy, its amazing.
