Weekly update fam. We got preflowers, so we all know what that means. The flower stage of the plant cycle has started. I'm extremely happy the way these have grown requiring no special treatment what so ever. They're getting attacked by some pest but I'll spay and hopefully get that under control before to late into flower. I generally don't like to spray past week 3 of flower. All in all Happy Growing.

I did this beautiful girl a strong defoliation and let's see together what kind of girl she will be in the end, in 10 days I completely filled the 120/120 tent with the plant and then I will switch the light cycle to 12/12 🌞🌋💚

No real change, except the buds are getting lots of crystal on them.

Sooo, about three and a half weeks have passed since the last update - she should be around week 3.5 of flowering by now, and goddamn, I’m stunned, bro. I had some medical PM a few months ago, and the smell already reminds me so much of it. It’s also the stickiest stuff I’ve grown so far, and she’s not even halfway through flowering yet.

Day 71👋🌱 I started flushing some days befor. I think I’ve got 20 days left but this lady eat a lot of feeding this last weeks so I give some more flushing. Buds looks full of all What they needs also if now they need to get fat and fat. :) let’s see what’s happen. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Now I’ll start checking trichomes every three days, I’d like a 60% white and 40% amber Day 72👋🌱🌱 Hi all growers, how is going? 😊 I'm at my first real flush for this Orange, i gave 10 lt of ph controled water and was checking ppm from water coming out. i gave water unitl it reach 400 ppm, my water is 200 ppm, i hope i'll bring it to 50 ppm for next flush in 3 days. i think bud are going to bloom nice this last days befgore harvest, i can feel it :D Day 74👋🌱🌱🌱🌱 Soil is already quiet dry, smell is increasing rapidly. Today I’ll give another e 1 lt of water and Sunday I’ll do another flush. I think will go up to 90 days. Bud will get fatter and fatter🏆. Maybe I could have fertilise two times more, but anyway I’d not a big problem, I’ve been feeding them a lot since the beginning so a more long flush won’t be a problem at all. Mandarin XL auto is experiencing a solution that is too strong. She has mutated some. I diluted out a gallon of solution and brought the tds down some. Hopefully enough. I will find out in the days to come. Nothing else to report beyond that. Had a lot of fun growing these girls. They went through a lot off the bat due to my inexperience. Learned a lot during this run and it was extremely rewarding to nurse them back to health. I am very pleased with this grow for it being my first run. I had no expectations as I am just starting to learn and want nothing more than to acquire knowledge. The quality and yields will come once I get more dialed in. Once these girls got healthy they had no problems for the whole grow. I am already planning improvements for future systems and am extremely excited to continue on my grow journey. Thanks to all who helped me out.

Dutch Passions Shaman Die Blüte hat begonnen, ich pflücke mir einen bunten Strauß und freue mich über das tolle Wachstum der beiden Damen. Ich bin ziemlich geflasht von der Größe und Wüchsigkeit der beiden. Da ich erst Mitte Juni mit der Anzucht beginnen konnte, rechnete ich mit deutlich kleineren Pflanzen. Beide haben diese Woche Beinwell-, Brennessel- und Ackerschachtelhalm Jauche bekommen. 700 Milliliter auf 10 Liter Gießwasser. Shamanin No. 1 ist fit und gut gelaunt. Shamanin No. 2 hat leichte Chlorosen in den unteren Blättern (Foto mit Fliege), ich tippe auf Magnesiummangel und gieße ab heute präventiv Bittersalz. Sorgen mache ich mir wegen dem kleinen Topf in dem No. 2 steht. Etwas wird diese Woche passieren müssen: Umtopfen oder in den Gartenboden pflanzen. Entscheidungen treffen ist nicht meine Stärke. Ich hätte sie wohl früher in den Boden setzen sollen. Jetzt aus dem Topf rausholen wird ihr zu Beginn der Blüte nicht gefallen. Aber sie wird es wegstecken und weiter wachsen, die starke Shamanin.

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. I added 36 Gallons of Water I added the following Nutes: Silica = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil CalMag= .75Mil/Gal= 27Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal= 187Mil FloraGro= 3.8Mil/Gal= 137Mil FLoraBloom= 3.0Mil/Gal= 108Mil ORCA = .5Mil/Gal= 18Mil EPSOM- 1 big pinch 1/28/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 4- I cleaned her up just a little bit on stuff hanging down. I also made sure the PH is balanced so she could soak up the New Nutes. 1/29/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 5- I Got sick, Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Possibly food poisoned.. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/31/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 7- First day back.. Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

The hairs are really showing right now and a slight fruity perfume is filling the grow closet. The bright colors glisten and captivate and I just stare and stare. In between dunk feeds I do regularly top pours. The plants are still short. Not much of an early flower growth spurt. But the bud sites are looking healthy and sticky already so I expecting some top shelf, even if it’s not much of it 🤣

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. 2nd week in the big tent, not overly happy with the progress , some plants are coping better than others, seem to be getting curling/yellowing leafs? hoping that by next week they will be in full swing, one night the heater cut out and the room went down to 13c, don’t suppose that will have helped

8/2: Started new batch of nutes. a repeat of last weeks nutes but with more CaliMag this time. Wednesday we will be bumping Rez to 6 gallons this week. Depending on how she is looking throughout the week we may start transitioning to Bloom nutes. Mixed as usual nutes in gallon jug of water. Transferred half to half gallon jug. Topped of Rez with half gallon jug of treated water. 8/3: Fed her today. Gave her the rest of the mixed nutes from yesterday’s feeding and also a full gallon of plain water. Filled rez to 3rd line today due to roots coming from bottom of bag into rez. Now that’s 6 gallons in the rez now. 8/4: Topped off Rez before bed with the half gallon of plain water. Started transition nutes this evening. Mixed nutes in gallon jug as usual. Poured half into half gallon jug. Filled rez to 3rd line using half gallon jug of nutes. Still some left over in jug. 8/5: Topped off the Rez with the rest of the nutes from half gallon jug. Split gallon jug of plain water into half gallon of water. Poured some of the half gallon of plain water into Rez until it was a little over the 3rd line. Bumped light intensity to 70% This evening topped of Rez again with the rest of the plain water from half gallon jug from earlier today. Then poured in SOME of the rest of the transition nutes left from mixing. 8/7: Mixed another round of transition nutes and fed from half gallon jug split. 8/8: Topped off rez with remaining half gallon full of mixed nutes for the week. Will need to water another half gallon of plain water before starting new nute batch tomorrow. Topped of rez to 3rd line with some of the plain water in half gallon jug. Topped of Rez again late tonight with the rest of water from half gallon. I can now start new batch of nutes tomorrow.
