I'm back! I'm sorry for taking such a long break. It wasn't planned! We had to buy weed off the street, just like old times! What a shame. We have moved and I finally have room for a new tent, this time for 3 plants! Plus matching lights. Unfortunately the exhaust is still missing, but nothing smells at the moment. So I'm waiting for the next pay cheque for that. I have Royal Queen Seeds to thank for sponsoring the seeds. I've been looking forward to trying this strain for a long time. This is my first grow using only Bio Tabs fertiliser. I've been wanting to try their range for a long time because I'm convinced it's best to use as little liquid fertiliser as possible - most of it is water and that means more weight, more transport costs and more packaging. As a substrate I tried the T.A. light mix - you can see a little video of it in my pictures above. I wanted an organic light mix without the peat - I know peat is great to work with, but it's also really bad for the environment, so I'd encourage everyone to try peatless mixes! Everything is now moving into the next phase, and if the plan works, there will be no work for me after next week - apart from watering. I'm so excited!

at this week u can compare the stems and bush in the videos, keep in mind this is my first hydro grow and i messed the PPM and PH a few times.. also snapped a whole branch of the hydro plant around week 4. still the hydro plant looks bigger and fatter stem. lol

2 choc mints are looking very nice thickening up nicely. Smell is unreal. Gorilla nugs are very white and full of trichs however not as dense as the choc mint. The choc mint buds are extremely dense i would be careful with temp and humidity as there is definitely potential for mould due to sheer size and denseness. 2 different phenos of choc mint both really nice but one has stretched slightly more and and has more crown buds.

Week 5 we flip lights to 12/12 first leaf pick at week 7

Flowering day 78 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. She only grew 8cm this week. The stretch is slowing down a lot now. She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Still loving her Sativa-like leaves!! 😍 They are as thin as a blade! For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 powder mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. This brings it to around 1600ppm including ~300ppm for my clean water. Die Livingsoiltöpfe wurden jeweils mit einer guten Portion abgelagertem Schwarzkohlekompost aufgefüllt und mit Asiasalaten sowie mit Winterportulak bepflanzt. Die Stiele der Shaman Damen sowie Schneckengehäuse und Muschelschalen-Crush habe ich zwischen die Pflanzen verteilt. Sobald sich die Salate etabliert haben wird mit einer dickeren Schicht C-Material (alles was braun ist) abgemulcht. Die Töpfe stehen geschützt und müssen ab und zu auf ausreichend Feuchtigkeit überprüft werden. Die Salate (Senf) fördern das Bodenleben und die spätere Pflanzengesundheit. Bis nächstes Jahr. 🏻

Day 62 Update: Water and food. Pics uploaded from days 58 & 62. Daily journal to be updated soon along with photo details. Days 63-69 Update: Nothing to do really but keep an eye on water and when to harvest. Letting the smaller three use up their stored energy rather than give more food. The big guy is still going to get nutrients because there’s a while left. Sometime this coming week I’ll chop down the shorter three plants. Trichomes are about 80% cloudy, but very little amber. Day 70 Update: nothing new to report.

At the end of week 4, I've switched the lights to 12/12 and separated the plants, leaving one of them under 150w lamp. Also started to bend the main stem of Kabul Express. I'll probably make a timelapse of one/both of them, both girls grow pretty fast, and Kabul seem to be much bigger and elongate more.

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Welcome to my Gorilla Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto & Mars-Hydro. Flower Days 25-37 Days 71-83 wks 11-12 Plant is getting nice and fat. Buds are started to swell real nice. Still a about a week to go before she enters Ripening. Trichomes are 60-40 cloudy/clear. Ambers about 15%. Has been nice watching her develop into a lovely little plant. She is little, at just 53cm, she grew very little in her stretch, as did all of my fems. 1 grew 5cm in her whole pre flower, a dom sativa too. But, back to this girl. She has a lovely structure with a sweet smell, her buds pop with bright orange pistils, she still has a good bit of stumble, so, I reckon she's got about a week left in putting on mass. Diet/Defoliation She was on a healthy but low dose of feed never exceeding 650ppm with both Short Flowering and PK booster powder from Green House Feeding. I've decided to drop their booster for 3 of Atamis finishers with a touch of Plagron Zym & Silic Rock the Finishers ppm falls inthe range of 350-430ppm and then I add short flowering to give a boost for N, which brings the ppm up to 550-600 & PHs of 5.9-6.2, I've ordered Raw NPK & Micro nutrients to have more control over my feeds. For terpine/taste profile I went with the best product on the market, Terpinator "The OG" feeds off this are very high I feel, 380-410ppm PH 6.1. Very light defoliation has been done, as she really had already a low leaf-calyx ratio. So, I'm happy overall with her progress, all a little slow, but, she's getting there. I reckon 9 weeks total in Flowering but, as soon as I see 90-95% cloudy she'll be harvested. I won't be waiting for her to turn mostly amber. (As the weed degradation kicks in) I've been learning bit and extras with every grow, and they just keep getting better and better, the quality of her look already speaks to my improvements. Still a long way to go. But, I feel I for sure can reach beyond Dispen weed you get from a store, or local dealer. Lights: SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used to great affect this round, they're doing 8 plants in a 50x100cm2 space as opposed to the 11 I did in a space of 100cm2. Can already see much improvement in the bud. Glad I decided to retry this light in its more desirable coverage conditions. The IR/UV45 has stepped up my game so much, I really can't praise this product enough. (IF YOU'RE GROWING FEMS, AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DLI, and don't implement this "1-2hrs extra flowering for all fems, without risk of reveg" then, well you really are behind in the times. And, its not as if its a new concept, Far Reds have been used by knowledgeable growers for decades to increase the flowering time and therefore your DLI. The UV-A is a really nice addition also. My bud as at least gotten 50-70% more resin, and on the Trich front, just look for yourself at my last harvests. Thanks to both my sponsors from MarsHydro & Pure Instinto. Happy belated Day 100 my dear Clones, today is Day 101 and 54 of Flower 🌹😍❤️ Another week and we should be good to harvest. Had a first look at her trichomes, milky with some clear. Bring it on my sweet sugar ✌️ And look at that beautiful rainbow 🌈 Always stunned by the sheer beauty of those plants, this one in particular 😍 Day 104 and 57 in Flower, just more rainbows. Watered with pure water, they still drink a lot... Let's see, will have to check the trichomes soon. Can't wait ❤️
