Thank you for checking out week 3 of my Stracciatella DWC grow! Quite a bit of growth this week, despite me running into quite a few problems this week, we had a heat wave and I was not prepared, causing some heat stress. I topped the plant at the 5th node and added some LST anchors, I will be topping her a few more times whilst low stress training . I'm still going with the same strategy of adding organics during the weekend, but I'm still not sure about it, especially not with the heat, Power roots does discolour my roots and causes some black gunk to accumulate at the top, I don't like that. speaking of discolouring, Biobizz CalMag makes my water super cloudy, which I hope is normal. I'll be moving my tent to a better climate soon, I do believe the heat further stunted my plant, She's still doing well however and it should be smooth sailing going forward, Unless nature throws something else my way. Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 It's my first harvest on this community and I'm loving it. Everyone always ready to help each other and have great feedback. Tracking my grow on here has made it way easier. There were times that I misplaced notes or forgot what I did or when with a certain strain and all I had to do was come on here and check it. Also motivated me take more pictures and do more logs. All out great site. Don't know how I haven't found it earlier. HIGHLY recommend for all growers. The grow cycle went pretty smooth. She's easy to grow and flowers early so you can't do much training. That being said it's great for beginners. 👌 Had no problems with pests on these, while on the other plants (none cannabis) in the balcony I had issues with spider mites. They grew better than expected given the few hours of direct sunlight they received. Results were good, I was expecting 10-15 grams per plant and ended up with a tad bit more. Drying went a bit fast because there were few buds. I probably could have took it down a few degrees as well.. my fault on that part. They dried in 4 days, they've been curing for 10 days. I normally test them after 15 days but they smelled so good I had to try them. Smell: Lovely earthy, woody, slightly like diesel. Quite pungent for being autos. Taste: Just as it smells.. leaving a nice after taste of diesel. Touch: Very sticky, dense buds. They break down finely in the grinder. Cleaned the grinder before testing and after 4 joints ( 2 grams or so) I already have a good amount of kief collected in the bottom. (Check photo) Might grow this one again just to make some bubble hash. The high is awesome nice uplifting, long lasting energetic but without a heavy euphoric rush. Reminds me of a smooth haze high, although if you smoke a lot even being an experienced smoker, she'll get to you. Only down side is dry mouth, very dry mouth! Have some water on hand because your mouth will transform into a desert. 😂 Great strain to kick start the day. Beginner smokers take it easy with this one. She hits hard! 👊

The Fruity Donutz are doing great! Still stretching but not as much as last week. I turned on the airco in the growroom at a constant 21 degrees to keep the temperature under 25 in the GTools. Heat can also cause the plant to stretch more, and it has another advantage because it helps to keep the humidity down. The Sanlight is now fully raised to the ceiling and the plants have enough space to build those colas. Removing the suspension cords all together and just attaching the clips to the ceiling was a great solution. Silly that I never thought of this before. Now I don't have to supercrop! Supercropping is HST for the plant, but also High Stress for the grower (at least for me 😅). Not much more to say at this point, but I will post more pics of the developing buds later this week ✌️. Tbh it’s looking alright , definitely stunted in growth and couldn’t really leaf braid or LST so I’m just letting it grow how it wants, might put it on something to raise it up to keep an even canopy, but I’ll do that once I know it’s stopped stretching 👌🏻

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

------------- Week 7 ------------- 3rd week of flowering and it has completely burst loose :) Have already supported her in various places and this already early in flowering. Which we can only applaud. In fact, I think we may have a polyploid plant. Polyploid cannabis is a chromosome-related variation of normal cannabis. It offers the possibility of heavier harvests and stronger effects. You can see this on the 'twin tower' branch as I call it. Where the main bud splits into more buds. Although it could just as well be something else that causes this, although I don't immediately know what. Anyway, more than satisfied with the past week and if you know that the strongest fruit set takes place in the last few weeks, maybewe can expect a very excellent yield.ut let's be careful and wait, until next week!

Jo die sind echt krass gewachsen, der eine vorne sehr buschig, die oberen Fächerblätter des Hauptstamms mussten entfernt werden. Der hiintere wächst anders, und beide wurden einmal getoppt, noch 3 Tage veggie, sodass die eine 4 Wochen und 3 Tage Veggie hatte, währenddessen die hintere #2 3 Wochen und 5 Tage, dann gehts ab morgen in die Blüte. EN Yeah, they have really grown a lot, the one in front is very bushy, the upper fan leaves of the main stem had to be removed. The one in the back grows differently, and both were topped once, still 3 days of veggie, so the one had 4 weeks and 3 days of veggie while the back one #2 had 3 weeks and 5 days, then starting tomorrow it goes into bloom.
