D120. We have arrived at the twelfth and final week of this grow. Twelve weeks of flower is plenty, and the trichomes are starting to mature. In any case, I soon need to move the light into another tent, so chop day is almost here no matter what. ------------------------------ D121. I was going to wait a while longer, but today, I said fuck it and chopped the girls. They are now hanging in the tent, and there's an Inkbird controller connected to a humidifier and dehumidifier, keeping the humidity at 60%. Now we wait at least two weeks for the dry to finish. ------------------------------

Day 78 Update: Start of week 12! Watered plant with almost a gallon of pH balanced water until runoff. 4 days left of flushing on Plant #2. Going to play it day by day till harvest, depending on how this week's plans unfold. Day 82 Update: Harvesting Plant #2 today. During the day, the air temperature is between 24 and 26°C, while the soil reaches around 21.5°C. Since topping last week, a few side shoots have emerged. I have hung the lamp a little higher to have more distance to the plants and hope that the new side shoots will stretch a little and the red coloration of the leaf stems will be reduced. The automatic watering works quite well, but I had hoped for more. Unfortunately, a few fungus gnats have crept in, which I still have to get rid of. I still think it's a bit premature to start the flowering phase, the ladies should get a bit more size and presence, also because I would like to take a few cuttings. First defoliation this week, took off all the lower leaves as they weren't getting much light and there's plenty of green leaves around the buds, looks nice at the base now. I discovered that the ppm runoff was 3500 so I've been pouring the nutrients solution into the top by the litre and letting it drain back to my reservoir, I'm using the flowering res from my other grow, which is 1:2:2 and 1500ppm. She appeared to be growing really slowly with small buds, but I had a look at a two week old photo and I must have lost track of time, as she had only just begun to flower. Feels more like four weeks! So now I'm wondering what more she can do. Stay tuned this could be exciting. I'm excited anyway. Nothing like what I expected. Updated some more shots, I only now just realised that I can hold the plant upside down or at any angle under the lights to get the type of bud shots that are normally impossible.

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! Bud structure nothing like I’ve ever seen before, looking healthy And frosty though. Looks close to being ready too, will be checking the trichomes. It’s showing a super high caylax to leaf ratio. Phenotype? Not sure. Next to no nutrients during this grow.

Really fun plant to grow out I got just over a quarter pound dry, I really dig the taste of this lady like a pastry of some kind with a cherry finish. Over all excellent finished product very pleased about it.
