She was big but not nearly big enough needless to say we won't be growing her again

I have been blown away every at step with this plant, my first grow! I've grown before but not like this and that is why I refer to myself as a newbie or this being the first time. Dutch Passion was an obvious choice for me as they were the only legit seeds I ever had experience with many many years ago. Watching the Auto Orange develop "daily" and the scent getting more and more focused was a joy and even with a window on the tent I found myself opening it enough to get my head in and get a good back of the nose full creamy citrusy assault.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Update 2017-08-20. These girls are much slower to germinate and to start growing than the other 6 girls I started at the same time. One of the germinated seeds split in half, so I had to take a new seed and germinate it. It took 2 days. It was just a smal taproots after germination with this strain as opposed to my Fastbuds cbd. Hi everyone 🤗. Today starts week two after the cutting of the cuttings. Everyone started to take root 👍. I will probably have this passage 4 again, but maybe 6 as well 😃. I'll decide spontaneously this week. Unfortunately, my water temperature is currently at 24 degrees, which is clearly too high for me. I wanted to get the grow cooler from Growtool yesterday, but since I have the small 0.8 growtoll system, the cooler doesn't fit under the grow table from the height :-(. I don't want to put it outside of the tent, for two reasons. Reason 1: The volume would be much louder if it was outside, the volume would theoretically not be bad, but after a while if I'm working on the other tents it would be annoying. Reason 2: It just looks damn unprofessional 😅. I will now look for other water coolers, otherwise I have no choice but to buy the original one and still place it outside of the tent. I will also spontaneously decide this week which training I will use eg topping etc. I only know that when I am sure how many plants remain 😋. 09/17: Well i am feeling defeated at the moment. I broke of a couple of branches on PL1 when attempting to train when i should not have been. Im feeling like a rookie at the moment. She was too full of water to be training her so aggressively. I have tried to tape back one of the broken branches, and so we will see if she recovers. Ive done this before and taping it back ended up working, but I am not optimistic this time. To make things worse, i used perlite that had “fertilizer” in it, did not realize it until it was too late, and they are dealing with a nitrogen overload. I should be hooking to water up already, but i want to let them dry out a bit so that i can properly finish off some of the training. Will do that and then hook up the water tomorrow or Thursday.

The pistils are still white Shes very fat now and i think 2 weeks before harvest, i feed less now at 400ppm and starting ripen feed when half of her pustils turned brown August 18 (mid this week) I flushed her completely and fed ripen untill runoff got in the 200ppm. Now she is ready to finish Harvest will be at august 28th

On day 1 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 2 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 3 the buds are really starting to bulk up and are putting out side flower clusters already in week 5. I adjusted the PH to 6.1. The goal is to coast from 6.1-6.3 then back to 6.1-6.3 ect. On day 4 things look good I scoped out the trichs and found some to be filing up with cannabinoids :) maybe she will be done in 7-8 weeks like the breeder says. On day 5 my reservoir temp got into the 80's because when the reservoir gets depleted it lowers the water level below the thermostat and I'm getting into the colder months so the cold air temperatures are causing the heater to heat when not needed. My temporary fix is to place the heater diagonally when the water level gets low and then when the water level drops a little more I will fill my reservoir back up fully so to keep the heaters thermostat running correctly. On day 6 I did another defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow in the canopy. I installed a new "Nano aquarium heater" this will be able to heat my reservoir without being affected by the water level in my reservoir. I also changed out my reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 7 the girls are looking and smelling great! I adjusted my reservoirs PH from 6.6 to 6.1. My Nano aquarium heater seems to do the job nothing out of the ordinary that I could tell after a night in the low 30's.

The Strawberry Gorilla continues to develop beautifully. The buds are visibly gaining mass and are starting to connect along the heavily branched stems. For only the third week of flowering, the bud development is already very impressive. The entire plant is covered with well-developed bud sites and continues to show excellent yield potential. Trichome production is also starting to pick up noticeably, already spreading across the sugar leaves. Overall, the plant looks very healthy and vigorous. She has also started to develop her first noticeable aroma — a light and pleasantly sweet scent. After all the training and heavier defoliation during the previous weeks, the structure is now established and I can mostly let her do her thing. From here on, it’s mainly a waiting game to see how much weight she can add to an already very promising foundation.

Days 33-35 Both ladies have been transplanted and moved into the Veg tent! If you look in the video you can see the setup. Both are in 10.5"x10.5" square nursery pots approx 3Gal each. Both were put into happy frog soil using azos and recharge during transplant. I have them under an optic 8+ with a cob as supplemental lighting Day 37: A light defoliation day today, especially for #1. I removed all the mature fan leaves that were blocking any bud sites or nodes at all. Essentially leaving the top 2 mature leaves in tact. I honestly did not want to do this! It was heart wrenching to mutilate such a beautiful naturally growing plant 🤷‍♂️ practicality wins in the end tho. I removed the 2 oldest lowest fan leaves from #2 as well. More for sanitation reasons. They werent8blocking anything but the uh were dragging in the dirt and starting to fade anyhow. I actually kept 1 leaf. My 1st time ever doing this. The leaf is so neat, overlapping itself. *transplant update day 37* In my very green opinion they look to be struggling a bit with the transplant. I like to wet my medium prior to placing the rootball in, sometimes it's great and the roots chase it. Sometimes they get a little water logged and it takes a week b4 watering. I'm thinking it's the latter in this scenario. Day 38; #1's top fan leaves are rolling in again. I figured it was heat but the surface area doesn't get above 78° which from what I've read is fine. Maybe it's a strain issue? Looks very imdica, ma uh be is accustomed to a cooler climate? Day 39: I lowered #1 about a foot further from the light. She is still all curled up tho. It isn't heat. I watered them at transplant per my usual routine. 2 other plants stranded extremely bad and these 2 are acting goofy. I probably over did it that day Day 42 and 43 In day 42 CMOG #1 needed some water. It's her 1st drink since transplant. #2 on the other hand is drinking a bit less. I also took 2 upper fan leaves off #1(I hate doing it, but gotta promote those bud sites!! Day 43nothing really to report. I videotaped myself plucking a couple lower fan leaves. I'm raising the fan a bit more above #2 to keep wind stress down. Day 44: 🚨⛈️Emergency!!⛈️🚨 Power is out! My light cycle is as follows: on at 6pm off at 12pm. Its 2:45am right now and the power has gone out. Which was wierd because it went out b4 the storm hit! It was fricken midday when the outtage happen!! My poor Chocolate Mint OG 😖 keeping humididty down is gonna be hard and my grow is very far from and natural light source even if they were on the same cycle as nature 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if ur reading this say a quick prayer! I have been really Busey with work so I missed last week.not really much to say though. There wasn't much stretch with these girls and only one is growing normal.the genetics are all over the place.i have been growing in pretty optimal conditions beside have 40 percent humidy through out my house.they all do look pretty nice though. I can probably squeeze 5 zips out of 4 of them.

She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.
