Week 9! Day 65: 2L (pH6.8) + mild organic fertiliser from kitchen scraps. Remember the potato water I spoke of earlier? I blended it up with some ruined sweet peppers from the garden and some applecider vinegar & eggshell to give her one last, very diluted nutrient solution. This feed was aimed more at the soil than the plant. Bud bulking has come to a halt, she's fading. Nonetheless, I discovered some purple leaf edges on one of the buds in particular, I wonder if this might be related to nutrition or temperature. Day 67: 2L (pH6.6) + 5ml/l home-made fertiliser. I noticed I accidentally had turned off the timer on the LED, as well as left it on 20% power the entire night. I was expecting to have to disturb her lights off period to look at her, but there she was just chilling in low light conditions. Also, she seems to have no problems running on the very diluted home-made fertiliser so I'm repeating the previous feed - this time being a bit more precise on the dosage: 5ml/l. As I stated, this is more of a fertiliser for the soil microbes than herself. Day 68: Damp, no water Trichomes are still mostly clear, nothing unexpected. Patience is not my strongest virtue.

The buds are ripening up. No amber tricomes as of yet but going to start keeping an eye on her. Cut back on all feeding minus molasses and coconut powder

03-08-20 No se cambia la solución con nutrientes aún. Empezamos la tercera semana y aún tenemos solución con 1.89 ms y un PH 5 que corregimos a 5.8. 04-08-20 se rectifica el PH de 4.5 a 5.5. Se calibra la sonda de ph. La conductividad es de 1.95 ms. Cuando suba de 2.1 ms cambiaré la solución. Se baja la luz a 70 cm 05-08-20 el PH vuelve a bajar a 4.8 y la conductividad llega a 2.1 ms. Se procede hacer un lavado de raíces bajando la conductividad a 0.2 ms PH 6.5 y una nueva solución con nutrientes que pondré en los datos principales.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. I still believe that Banana Kush #2 and Zkittlez are stunted, I wanted to remove those two but i think i will just let them grow out for the experience. I'm really banking on Banana Kush #1 to bring home the bacon.

So it's another week down for this tent and we're looking great. Both the Pluto's are surpassing what I expected from them. These are going to be some of the biggest indica leaning plants I've grown....I've gotta good feeling about these plants 😉. The fan leaves are bigger than my head! Her structure is big and dominant which I love, especially when I didn't do any training. It shows good genetics and good flowers to come. We're continuing the insect frass and alfalfa for this last week then it's straight Frass for a few weeks. Other than that we're good. No amending, nothing. Easy breezy water only grow.
