Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. As you can see in the photos, some leaves burned, this is because in one night they grew by 12/15 cm, and did not give me time to lift the lamp. Incredible. I started to fold and lst all 5 plants otherwise in the square meter available there would not be. I regret not having been able to scrog, because otherwise who knows what would have come out of it. RC#1 is in her last couple days. Main stem is starting to tilt with the weight of the buds 🤣 she was flushed yesturday for the final time with around 15 litres of water. Once the pot has dried out she will be swapped into my drying tent and left in darkness for 3 days before the chop. Feel like this day will never come lol. Very excited to try as this is my first ever grow. RC#2 is starting to swell up but I think she has another 2 weeks in her, she got stunted for a while during week 6-7 so may have set her back a little. Bud sites look great I'm expecting no less than 8oz between the 2 girls, just by what I've sized up already. Well shall see.... 18.03.20 (Day64) Rc#1 has been chopped. Only got a few pics but I'll take them next week once it's all weighed up. RC#2 is starting its flush this week as I think it's only has around a week or so left.

Week 4 update! 🌱 Week 3 is done, and the ladies are now three weeks into their flowering phase. So far, everything has gone really well. However, one bud and the plants in the front showed slight signs of potassium overfertilization, which likely caused a calcium uptake issue and led to minor necrosis. No worries, though – today I completely flushed the entire system and replaced it with a fresh solution. With this reset, everything should be back on track 💪💧. On top of that, I decided to bring out an old Cree& Osram LED lamp as a booster. This will provide the two smaller front plants with more light intensity so they can metabolize the higher nutrient levels more effectively 💡🌿. Everything is looking great so far! Stay tuned, follow along, and let’s see how this journey continues 🌺📸. Woche 4-Update! 🌱 Woche 3 ist geschafft, und die Ladies sind jetzt drei Wochen in der Blütephase. Bis jetzt lief alles super. Eine Bud und die Pflanzen vorne zeigten jedoch leichte Anzeichen von Kalium-Überdüngung, was wahrscheinlich zu einer Kalzium-Aufnahmehemmung geführt und leichte Nekrosen verursacht hat. Kein Grund zur Sorge – heute habe ich das komplette System gründlich durchgespült und die Lösung durch eine frische ersetzt. Mit diesem Reset sollte jetzt wieder alles reibungslos laufen 💪💧. Außerdem habe ich beschlossen, eine alte Cree& Osram LED-Lampe als Booster herauszuholen. Damit bekommen die beiden kleineren Pflanzen vorne eine stärkere Lichtintensität, damit sie die höheren Nährstoffwerte besser verstoffwechseln können 💡🌿. Es sieht alles richtig gut aus! На следующий день после того как я обновил прошлую неделю дневника наступило время пересадить растения в более крупное ведро. Я покажу вам как использовать дешовые пивные стаканы для пересадки ваших растений. Вы можете посмотреть это на первом видео. Когда я пересаживал растения я дополнительно добавил микоризу в большое ведро. Мои АК-47 показывают сативный фенотип, поэтому они были слишком высоки, поэтому я был вынужден поместить стебель растения как можно глубже и заполнить его, чтобы корни начали расти из него позже. THIS SUCKS. I HAD PICTURES AND THE DIARY ALL FILLED OUT AND IT DIDNT SAVE. 5/8 watered. A little less than usual. A little over 2 Gatorade bottles total. I wrote a repirt but it didn't save. I fimmed a couple gmos. 5/9 I've noticed burns but I think it's from direct sunlight from south facing windows. The blinds had a little spot where a stream of light could come in. I've put card board over the blind to minimize any direct light coning in. The 3 plants in reveg seem to be coming out of it. I've noticed pretty good growth. I switched the bloom light on for a couple hours today to see if the plants could take it. I bitched out though and ended up shutting it off. Won't be long and they'll be going outside. Three seedlings have come up. All autos I believe. I hope they don't stay stunted but we'll see. 5/10 Seedlings (3) are doing good. Soil seemed dry on the event horizons. I don't know whats going on with the toasted toffy that's all twisted up. It WAS rootbound af and revegged. Fan is blowing directly on plants and I think that may be a factor. I've got a lot of work to do. Thos site keeps not saving my. UPDATE: I switched the bloom switch on around 2:30 and checked on plants around seven and they were perking right up. The toaster toffy seemed to have perked up as well but I noticed some tips are burnt. I think it was from a hole in the blinds though seeing the rest of the plant has a good response ad well as the rest of the garden. I'll know for sure tomorrow. I worked on cleaning the cage and ill finish that tomorrow. 5/10 WATERED. USED THREE GATORADE BOTTLES TOTAL. EVENT HORIZON AMD TOASTED TOFFY SEEM TO DRINK MORE WATER. I noticed some (burns/bleaching?) On some new growth on that weird twisted toffy. Also on like a tiny leaf on the bottom of a plant but no other damage. Leaves seem to have longer petioles now which I read is a symptom of light burn. Smell significantly increased as well. The 4 GMO'S however seemed to love the light and are perked right up. I'll check on them again after I stop and check with my growing buddy and see what he says. I'll finish cleaning the cage today and I'll clean my bags. Maybe start some LST. UPDATE: SECOND TIME WROTONG THIS. I HATE THIS SITE. WENT OVER WITH THE INTENT OF SHUTTONG OFF THE BLOOM SWITCH BUG JUST RAISED THE LIGHT SOME. I SEE SMALL BURNS ON THE EVENT HORIZONS AND THE TOASTED TOFFY. NOT SIGNIF8CANT BUT I DONT WANT IT TO BECOME SIGNIFICANT. THESE SEEMED ALK REVEGGED. THAT MIGHT ACCOUNT FOR THE STRANGENESS IVE BEEN OBSERVING. SINCE ALL 4 GMO'S ARE EXPLODING AND EVEN THE SHERB PIE IS TAKING OFF SO I DIDNT WANT TO SHUT THE LIGHT OFF. THEY WILL GO OUTSIDE IN A COUPLE WEEKS. I THINK RAISING THE LIGHT A BIT AND MOVING THE EH AND TT A LITTLE FURTHER BACK. I'LL MONITOR AND ADJUST FROM THERE. I HAVE TO GO HACK LATER AND I MAY WASH AND DISINFECT MY GROW BAGS. I JUST CANT SEE THIS LIGHT BURNING PLANTS ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE SEEDLINGS IN THE WINDOW RECEIVING DIRECT SUNLIGHT. ONE THING I DID NOTICE ON THE GMOS IS IT "LOOKED" LIKE THE PETIOLES ON THE LEAVES WERE NARROWING. IT COULD'VE BEEN IN MY HEAD. I'LL OBSERVE AND REPORT. 5/11 I must've forgotten to write this or more likely it didn't save. 5/12 Plants looked like they like the increased light. The gmo especially seems to be praying. The burns on the 1 ev and the tt seem to be the same one as before but I'm noticing much more growth since I've flipped on the bloom switch. I've got some big pallets and am getting ready to prep for moving things outside by June 1 give or take. 5/13 already did this and it didn't save. Found my two 150watt hps lights that ice used previously with great success. However since I seem to be getting better results with the l.e.d. went at a different time of day and saw a stream of light right on a burn spot so I don't think it's the light. I went higher blocking the window and taped the blinds to the size. I've noticed lots of lateral growth. Time to train. Seedlings will also need transplant.

Lots of bloom spots are popping up everywhere! The smell is getting intense. Smells like lemons/citrus fruits, very sour but earthy. Easy grow so far.🤞🌿🙆‍♀️Video is the girls in their small tent with my temporary DIY ventilation lol. Take a look! 🙏😍❤️🙆‍♀️ Also thinking of starting trellis netting this week, what do you all think? I would be using the 3 inch square netting. Also need recommendations for a grow light for the autoflowers remaining cycle and for future grows coming soon!
