I'm thrilled to share another exciting update on my flourishing journey. We have now reached week 4 of the flowering phase, and I must say it has been an incredible period of growth and progress. The plants continue to stretch magnificently, and the onset of bud production has been truly remarkable. 🌿🌸🌱💪 As we progress through this crucial stage, I remain attentive to the well-being of my plants. They have developed a healthy thirst, consuming approximately 4 liters of water every 2 days. The pH level of the nutrient solution stands at a steady 6.11, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake. Furthermore, the TDS range between 1050 and 1150 provides the ideal nutrient balance. 💧⚖️📈 In light of the unfortunate hermaphroditism incident experienced by a fellow grower, I have been diligently checking my plants for any signs of similar issues. So far, I'm pleased to report that everything is progressing smoothly, and I haven't encountered any Bananas or seeds (it's hard to check the back sides). 🚫🍌🔍 That's it for this week! Was just using water with the last 2 plants this week. They both plumped up a bit and got more color going on, which is exactly what I was waiting for. Overall, it was a nice grow with only a couple hiccups.

Hey now, hope everyone is haing a great weekend. The Sundae Driver is doing pretty well, she is 2 weeks from getting wet under the Spectrum X which is only cranked up to 30% so she is putting out close to 230 Watts for the 7 seedlings. I will only keep 5 of them and give a couple away as I think even 5 mainlines will be tight in my 5X5 tent. My plan is to transplant them in a couple days, and then top them for the first time at the third node around day 20, and then hopefully top her again around day 27, then again hopefully around day 30, and then flip her to flower by then end of week 6 or 7 at the latest. If i go much past there I think I will run out of room but we will see how it goes. First time ever running a Royal Queen Seeds Strain, but I have smoked this Sundae Driver before and she was one of the tastiest strains I have ever tried, so very excited for this run. wow! this girl also took the fish shit i gave her last week and turned it into huge buds! I am going to do this every year from now onwards. No visible PWM either, just like the others. Will go out to the pot patch mid week after this leftover weather from hurricane Fiona clears to see how they fared in the high humidity and low temps.

Chopped on day 67, could have gone longer. But DAMN this blew past all my expectations, mostly because of the lighting challenges. I got 126 grams with 5 weeks of veg with a less than optimal positioned 400 hps, HELL YES. Not to mention it is probably the best THC strain I have ever had, certainly the best smelling, at least.

FINALLY TRANSPLANTED into 10 gallon pots: Flowering SUPER SOIL COMPOSITION (per 20 gal): Medium: -25% coco loco (sustainably sourced from shrilanka i think) -25% peat moss (sustainably source in north america) -50% recycled depleted soil Amendments: -3 cups Citrus Tone Espoma 5-3-6 -1 cup 4-8-4 Mother Earth Bloom -1 cup 2-3-6 Earth Dust Boost -5 cups worm castings -80g w- 20 wollastanite (si + ca) -80g epsom salts -40g dolomite lime Here is what i am thinking: -Plants look good in the new pots, i figure it will be ready to scrog in about a week. -Never heard of anyone using this citrus tone fert but the utah state study said that optimal fertilizer is 20-10-20 blue mixture. Well as an organic grower I want to replicate that ratio. Its not 100% but the point is its high in nitrogen and potassium with adequate phosphorous because I am researching small scale rn and one day I will need to be very mindful of my P usage to be sustainable and regenerative. -I performed a preventative insect repellent because I saw thrip damage and I want to be safe. Honestly I think I am just going to do a neem oil treatment twice before going into flower every time now. I did 1tsp cold pressed jacks neem oil + 1 tsp w-20 wollastanite per 16 oz spray bottle and I drenched both girls all over. I plan on doing one more the day I decide to flip to flower. -Ca is far more important than phosphorous and the nutrient companies have been milking the myths about nutrient ratios for 50 years.' -I really put focus on the rock dust and inert minerals because I have never paid any attention to them but I will be stressing and pushing these plants with light so i need them optimal. -I started my own compost bin with holes in the back yard and I am planning on buying african night crawlers to start a worm bin that way I have two kinds of compost to break down my bubble hash waste and food from the kitchen. Will be great for teas. -I will water them in with a compost tea I am brewing/aerating currently. Giving it 24 hours.

Starting next Thursday there will be potential new owners touring the property. It's still a bit early but I'm going to flush now and harvest next week. I think we're close enough. The buds are sticky and smell great. These ones aren't really fattening up that much but they look delicious. It would definitely have been nice to have both plants the same size so they could both benefit from the optimal light distance.

This Flower week 6 sucks. Major Power outage, Plants have been in the dark for 4 days now, and power company is saying a few more days until electricity is back on... I’m really surprised they aren’t suffering more without light or good air flow. I’ll update when power is back on. UPDATE: After 5 days without electricity, my plants are FINALLY happy to have the lights back on them!!! WooHoo! Day 6, they seem to be taking off where they left off without much confusion. Gave them a good drink of nutes, and they're happy.

Wow, what a week. Finally installed my Inkbird humidity controller and look at the results. Massive difference having the VPD on point at 25°C and 60% RH. A video at the end shows my setup. Did a bit more supercropping this week and more defoliation to keep all tops at the same level, this will make the Scrog setup alot easier. Please like this and comment any questions or thoughts.
