Finally my last harvest of this season and i have to say, Mac finished it like the queen she is.😎👌 No, her yield was not the biggest (she was in 6.5L pot so ..) but the taste is just exquisite! its sweet and earthy .. and the effects are very balanced 👍 Its a hybrid but feel i can still take a nap after a big vape (i tested her yesterday afternoon as well)..so i think indica is the dominat one here.. not sure though.. could also just b i vaped too much (or used too much THC oil yesterday😉 ) Buds are very compact and frosty... am very happy with this lady.. beautiful flowers she had with all kinds of soft violet and pink colours.. I had to harvest a bit early bc weather was getting very bad and my greenhouse/safehouse was kaput..(note 2 self: buy new cover!) But that only resulted in me throwing the lower buds away (another note 2 self: next year, do some HST!) I can def. recommend her, a beautiful plant to grow and so smooth to vape! She did great in my lil'garden in Amsterdam with very few sunrays and lots of rain (yeah but i am content. for amsterdam standards it was great👊) Luckily no caterpillers or WPM this year .. (butterflies knew they where NOT welcome here, with all the demons in my garden 😁.. see diaries of my big demons😉) The end of summer was real smooth as well, she was able to be in garden till middle of september!🙌 So time 2 hibernate.. Its good bc i need it, think most of u know by now that i am batling MS and grow Cannabis for my medicine (there is none for MS and i cant handle the pain medication..) and to say it short, it has been..f hard this summer.. I did my diaries for whole summer long anyways, despite the hardships. ..i need 2 recover...(Luckily i grew a lot of medicine ..so winter will b xtra chill😸👍) Thank you to the select few that supported my work and understood my struggles. El dorado og has some old school genetics to is and they are starting to shine. It’s really starting to stack up the stems real nicely. The plant reaks like skunk. I bet it turns out really nice All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

Week 8 there hasn’t been any drastic changes for either of the girls. Girl #1 is looking better and better each day. Girl #2 is just being as stubborn as can be. Girl #2 still hasn’t showed any signs of flowering. I’m gonna continue to be patient with her she’s a very late bloomer. I can’t believe she’s been in veg for 8 weeks.I know some of you expert growers have experienced a long veg similar to my experience.Not sure if it’s good or bad luck just yet being my first run of autos. I have to admit. When i saw this week coming to The end and girl #2 wasn’t showing signs of flowering, I got down face to face with her quietly whispering (You better flower soon or it’s time for the trash can 😂😂) lol 😆 I had a weak moment was very frustrated. I thank all of you that have shared your information cause without it I would have been panicking. I’m gonna be patient and let the plant tell me when she’s ready. Everything has been running smoothly. I have given both girls light bloom nutrients. I have learned so much and it has been a pleasure watching the magic happen. Thank all of those who have viewed my diary. Thank you again for your support.

The good vegging progress is noticable as my plants no more producing buds or crystals They are now GROWINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Second water change this week. This time I decided to increase the ppm up to 600 and see if the plant was going to sustain it. I was honestly expecting a small bite burn but it seems like nothing has happened after 3 days. Ph keeps increasing slightly everyday and ppm keeps decreasing. Really happy with how this is going.

This week has shown some nice growth, and gained some height too. The leaves are a lush healthy green colour, there hasn't been anything to do this week apart from watering, and this is what I gave this week. 20.8.25: I watered with 1.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 2ml Trace PH: 6.0 PPM: 340 24.8.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 1ml Flourish PH: 6.6 PPM: 315 29.8.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 2ml Trace PH: 6.5 PPM: 321 Thanks for stopping by this week and hanging out 😁💚👌🌱✌️

Das ist jetzt eher eine Montas Beschreibung. Ich hatte sie einen Monat jetzt am Fenster und kein gutes Licht daher ist so so klein vermute ich. Ich habe sie in der ersten Woche mit Bio Grow gedüngt das hält 8 Wochen- in der 7. Woche dünge ich nach da sich die wachstumsphase jetzt ja wohl verlängert ich glaube nicht das sie in 2 Wochen nen Riesen Schuss macht. 1 mal pro Woche benutze ich enhancer und für die Blüte dann bio bloom Das sind alles Greenhouse Produkte Ich bin ganz neu hier und hab wirklich so gut wie kein Equipment und alles was ich hab ist selber gemacht ich will es einfach versuchen und wenn es gut klappt mich steigern :) Ich würde mich über Tipps freuen Das ist auch der Grund wieso ich viele Informationen wie ph und sowas gerade noch nicht messen und somit ins Profil schreiben kann.

Blütewoche 3 - 29.06. – 06.07.2026 In der dritten Blütewoche setzte die Blue Sunset Sherbert ihren Stretch noch einmal fort und wuchs weitere etwa zehn Zentimeter. Damit befinden sich die höchsten Triebspitzen inzwischen sehr nah unter der LED. In dieser Woche wurde die Pflanze einmal großzügig mit 9 Litern Wasser gegossen. Zusätzlich wurden einige Blätter entfernt, damit die unteren Blütentriebe besser Licht erhalten. Die Pflanze wirkt weiterhin sehr vital, kräftig und gesund. Sie füllt das Zelt inzwischen stark aus und entwickelt sich sichtbar gut. Für die kommende Woche bleibt zu beobachten, ob die höchsten Triebe vorsichtig etwas zur Seite geführt werden oder ob die Lampe noch leicht höher gehängt werden muss, damit ausreichend Abstand zu den Spitzen bleibt.

Gave the plant a big defoliation this week and have put the net in place. This is my first time using the net so am a little unsure if I should be flattening the four main tops as much as I have. If anyone sees anything I should be doing better, please let me know 👍

Apple Pie. mmmmmm 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The order of displacement depends on the lyotropic series, where ions with a higher positive charge and those with weaker binding strengths are displaced first. The specific order of nutrient displacement is determined by the lyotropic series, which ranks the strength with which cations are adsorbed by soil particles: Al3+: Most strongly adsorbed, so if present, it will be displaced by H+ ions, leading to increased solubility of aluminum and potential plant toxicity. Ca2+: Displaced next, as it is more strongly bound than Mg2+ or K+ but less than Al3+. Mg2+ and K+: Displaced after Ca2+. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Week 5: 8/24 we fed the kids for the first time!! We followed the instructions for Gaia Green All Purpose application and went ahead and grabbed the Bloom fertilizer as well, so we are ready for that transition. We did top all our auto flowers except one and they slowed down their growth a bit, but we have two strong main stems on all of them, so I'm excited to see how those fare outside. I've heard that everyone lives by Kelp, so we got some liquid seaweed and have been adding that to our waterings along with the Miicrobial Mass Pro. Considering grabbing the roots organic terp tea bloom boost or the Athena bloom set-up to see how we feel about this synthetic vs. organic fertilizer discussion and to get some growth happening on these autos. We started LST, but I wish there was more info on like what i'm supposed to be doing fr - feels like I'm just bending the stem 😳 (but we will see how that shakes out)... WELP! That's all folks. Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'😅( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my health💪😁!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpd😖. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyones👻!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didn‘t expect this thing beeing so sensitive 😅. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... 😇 Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing 👆!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about!
